Upper Crust Pizza & Chicken

Pizza's of every crust have been nothing short of perfection every time we order from here. Love the Detroit best. The staff is always very pleasant and professional. So happy they're in the neighborhood. Best pizza in Akron!

I have literally been looking for a pizza spot that uses turkey instead of pork for years and I had no idea this place didn’t serve pork. I tried it and omg the pizza is amazing!!! Even down to the crust it’s tastes great. It’s so good I ordered 2 days in a row! They have a forever customer out of me.

I've only ever had their pizza, but it's my go to place for pizza in the area. Their Detroit style is their best option, pan is pretty good, but their thin crust is kind of a weak spot. Go for the highland square or kings triple double local favorites and you won't be disappointed.

Ordered from door dash, it came sealed, hot and the chicken tenders were huge!!! Like the size of a chicken breast!!! We ordered sauce, it was good sauce but the crunchy seasoning on the tenders was so good it didn't need it. Worth the price!! Destroys Popeyes, kfc, raising canes. No cap. Pizza also delicious, ordered pan pepperoni. Will definitely order again.

*Every time* I've ordered, the food has been on time, fresh, fast (as it can be, all things considered), and most importantly - delicious! I've ordered in the past, the Jojo's and pepperoni rolls (not pictured) and the jo' s are a tad crispy on the outside with a nice bite, and the insides are light, fluffy cooked potato. I'd imagine they'd be crispier if I'd ask them to make them like that, but from first blush, they were really good! The pepperoni rolls have immense flavor, and I'm going to say that they seem to have more of a filling than most rolls I've ever tasted before. it's not like I go eating pepperoni rolls at every place I go to, but I will say it's not like there's just one slice of pepperoni in the roll, and the rest of it is just cheese. Well worth it to me for the price. What I have pictured, are the plain, breaded, bone-in jumbo wings, and they are THE BEST BREADED WINGS IN SUMMIT COUNTY, HANDS DOWN. I'm a freaking expert in breaded wings, and I say this from years of experience! Also pictured is the American pan Kings triple double (I always ask for it to be extra crispy) which is outstanding, since it's not a greasy pizza at all with all that pepperoni! If you're taking a bite and not getting some roni in your mowth - something's wrong with you man, go see a doctor immediately! The crust is delicious, and not overpowering like some other places with a yeasty dough taste, and the sauce is light, but has a nice tomato finish that's not too sweet/not to spicy or salty. The tots I ordered were nice and crispy, and that was after driving to the other side of town, and taking another 20 minutes after getting home to sit down and eat! I've had almost every sauce, and they are all respectively as flavorful as can be from their descriptions.

In the four times that I've ordered since last year, every order has been just as consistent as the first, and on quite a few occasions, I know ordering the food was around their peak times, along with sporting events that would make them super busy.

The staff have always been courteous and professional, and every time that I've placed an order, the time that I've told that it'll actually be ready, has been no later than 5 minutes anytime they've said! Pretty damn accurate if you ask me.

Honestly the only thing I have to complain about at this point, is that there isn't one closer to me! But it's well worth the drive.

Our first order from here and we enjoyed our meal. Detroit style pepperoni pizza, a Greek salad, and the soul box all very delicious. We will be coming back to try more of their menu!

We have ordered pizza, wings and tenders from here, but never fish. The pieces for fish Friday were HUGE. Included tons of fries. The house tarter was awesome. This is one of the best fish dinners I have had in a while. Will definitely be going back for more on Fridays! Great food!

Best Detroit style pizza I've ever had..... and the only other Detroit style pizza I've had was in Michigan. Also, the gluten free pizza (ancient grain crust) is among the best GF pizza I've had. It's way better than the typical frozen gluten free crust that most pizza places have.

Have been wanting to try Upper Crust for a while and finally did if you are a fan of a thick crispy crust i recommend the half sheet and more pepperoni then you have ever seen on a pizza order the Kings Triple Double so good, definitely will be order from them again!!!

The best wings I’ve had thus far. I’ve gotten tons of ads on my Facebook and I figured meh just another wing spot. Nope! Ugh... the crunch, the perfect blend of spices, the size of the wings and so juicy. Great job to Upper Crust on their wings. Don’t get me started on their pizza. 🤤

If you’re looking for a place where great chicken is served, look no further. Paired with their Kentucky Bourbon sauce. Lord have mercy. I never ate so fast in my life.

This is the best pizza I have ever had. The outside is crispy and the inside is soft and chewy. The sauce is awesome and the cheese and pepperoni are awesome.. And don't forget the cannolis😍😍😍

When I looked walked in I was a little suspect with all the awards. Overall though I ordered food she said 20 minutes 20 minutes pasted…. Food was excellent hot and a lot of JoJos!

Wowsah is this good and high quality! Got a provo, scallion, house tomato sauce pizza and fried pickle spears. YUMMO! Miracle crust is a must if you're looking out for substance. Fast and friendly service can't wait to return.
