Mel's Place

Been coming here for a year or so and will keep coming back as long as Scott wants to keep cutting hair and lining up beards. He’s a great guy and a great barber. Can’t wait to bring my sons when they’re old enough

First time going to Mel’s since most barbershops are closed Monday in the area. No appointment needed, clean, great atmosphere and aesthetic. And Brian did a great job with my cut, knew what he was doing, communicated my needs very well and was a pleasure to talk to! I will be coming again!

Took my son here a few months ago when we were in the area and he needed a haircut. Staff was great and his cut turned out nice. Brought my other son right before school started. They listened to what he wanted done and gave him a great cut. My son commented as we were leaving how he liked his hair better than some of the other places he's been and it was cheaper. That's a win for me.

Hands down my favorite barber shop. No appointments, just walk ins, but waiting ain't bad cause it's an old school vibe and everyone is joking and laughing and just laid back atmosphere and the prices I think are stuck in 1980 which is nice. This is my barbershop for life

Scott is awesome! As a female with a partly shaved cut some barbershops make me feel unwelcome. Scott never has.

Scott was great! My first visit here right before I head out on a two week vacation. I saw all the positive reviews and I was willing to risk it. I told him a very vague description of what I wanted and it came out better than I ever could have imagined! Got me in and out of there quickly on a busy afternoon. Good conversation. Affordable and sharp. Best cut I've had in many years. Found myself a new barber for the foreseeable future.

Finally... a barber shop that knows how to cut hair. Went the first time Sat and told Scott how I wanted my hair cut.... and that's what I got. And all for under $20. I am really picky when it comes to barbers... as my other reviews will show. Most don't listen and cut how they want.
But this place does it right for a fair price. What's not to like? I'll be back.

Scott is good people. He always treats me and my children like family. His fades are top notch and he does a mean Men's haircut. His prices are very reasonable too. We moved here from Long Island (I was worried I'd have trouble replacing my old barber) and my Fiancé called to inquire and he welcomed us all. Haven't gone anywhere else since moving here. The rest of the staff are pleasant as well.

Truly exceptional experience at Mel’s. I didn’t think barbers like this existed anymore! Haircuts for me and my son were fast, super inexpensive, and looked great! Awesome people and environment. Best haircut experience I’ve had in 30 years!

You won't get the world's finest haircuts here, but you'll get good ones and they'll be consistent. I've gone to Mel's Place on and off for 15 years or so (I don't live close by but I make occasional trips) and it's never changed, which is a great thing. They're good enough for me to drive a little further to get a better haircut.

Best Barbershop in Cuyahoga Falls. Always current on boys and mens styles and Scott can cut a fast and mean haircut gives the best hard part and fade.

Great neighborhood barber. Scott's one of the most down to earth people. It's cash only and first come first serve. Every time I've been there, there's usually 2/3 people waiting. Once decided to be there before they even opened although I was the first one there soon after 2 more gentlemen pulled in. They were nice and told him I was there first but I let them go before me because the wait not that long

Yeh absolute best barber shop in town. It used to be right down the road from me, but since they are so good I still go there even if it's 30 min away. Dad always told me, if you find a good barber, never let him go. Scott's my barber and he is the absolute best!

Awesome little barber shop. Scott does a great job and he will get you in and out super fast. Just to put a cherry on top you get a hot lather straight razor shave to clean up your neck.

I was looking for good barber place in Hudson Stow area since forever and I guess I finally found one "Mel's Place". I got awesome haircut. I got my hair done by Deb and she is really good and knows exactly what she is doing. I would highly recommend her.

Just moved to the area and needed a barbershop. Scott was friendly, quick, efficient, and gave me a great haircut. It’s always risky going to a new place and I will definitely be going back!

My son goes to Scott and noone else cuts hair like him. He's ruined barbers everywhere. From my son's teenage mohawk days to wavy styles that made me envious,noone cuts hair like Scott.

Donnie is always consistent in giving me the best haircut I've had. Fantastic service and results!
