Giovanni's Barber Shop

Giovanni’s barbershop in North Akron is a must stop if your are interested in how your hair looks. I have had my haircut by all three gentlemen and they all exceeded expectations not once but do so consistently. It is not a place where the initial cut is good and thereafter just so so. I primarily have Dan cut my hair now as his extended hours seem to lineup best with my scheduling needs. Dan is a great barber, his bald fades or any haircut for that matter are top notch. Best place for a hair cut! Sean did an amazing job I had him recommended to me and I'm glad I gave it a shot. He took his time and was very thorough. He did great with everything the fade, the lineup, the beard trim, I have been searching for a reliable and consistent barber for years and have now found the one. 👌🏼 Can't wait to return for another cut.

Dan, is the man here!!! Don’t get me wrong all the guys there are great barbers so either one will get you correct! I chose Dan and could t be happier! He always gets me fresh and it’s atmosphere is what you’d expect from a barber shop! I highly recommend this barber shop to anyone looking for a new barber!!

Kind, friendly, knowledgeable and talented barbers at Gio’s. I know I can get a fresh cut for an affordable price and in a great atmosphere! The barbers take their time and do the job right - they don’t rush you through a cut to get to the next person after you. I always leave Gio’s looking way better than when I walked in.

The barbers at Giovanni’s are amazing. I’ve been getting my cuts from Sean for a few months now and highly recommend him. Sean is a phenomenal barber who takes his time, asks questions, and delivers a perfect haircut every time. Even though Giovanni’s is an hour away from where I work, I make the trip every couple of weeks because his cuts are consistently worth it. I have friends that go to the other barbers at Giovannis and are just as happy as I am with their cuts. I recommend the guys at Giovannis over any other barbers, period!

New to the area, checked out a few places looking for a decent barber. Everywhere I went was mediocre at best - no consistency.. Then I popped into Giovanni's and got Dan as a walk in.. 10/10 across the board. This place really surprised me. Extremely professional, very clean, and the barbers all know exactly what they are doing. Friendly atmosphere, and Daniel VanHorn is top tier in his craft. Highly recommended.

Sean at Giovanni's is one of my all time favorite barbers. I've had several cuts now and he has a high attention to detail. I always leave looking good. Be sure to book an appointment if you're in a rush.

I always go to Sean when I go to Giovanni’s and he does a great job. All the barbers are very nice, personable people. It doesn’t matter who cuts your hair they are experienced and good at what they do.

I’m a truck driver and have a hard time finding a good barbershop over the road.I gave this place a try and they did a very good job. I got a skin fade with a 2 on top and was very satisfied. The fade was excellent. I will definitely be back if I’m in the area. This place is the real deal NOT an overpriced salon with lousy barbers.

Been my mainstay for years! Great little shop with a very clean, modern environment, good location, and the best barbers in the Akron area! Highly recommend visiting Sean if you can. They take appointments via an App called "The Cut" and walk ins are welcome depending if there's a time slot available. Saturdays are open to all, first come first serve.

Fantastic barber shop. Friendly guys, excellent work (both hair and beard), and very fair prices for their services. Also quite appreciate them using an app for booking appointments as it makes my life a ton easier and also discourages walk ins who mess up appointment times. Everyone seems to take COVID precautions pretty seriously (all the barbers wear masks) and I doubt there'd be a problem if you wanted to wear one during a cut to stay extra safe.

Gio is an excellent barber with a lot of experience. He always gets my hair faded and cut properly, despite the fact that I change my hair style every few months. Everyone at Giovanni’s does top notch work that doesn’t disappoint.
