Mud Lake Mountain Bike Trails

Just getting into mountain biking and the green trail is currently perfect for a challenge. Well maintained trails, no garbage anywhere. I saw some amazing looking features I hope to have the skill to ride some day. It appears there are enough trails to try new ones as your skill level increases.

Great for hiking. There's a well marked easy loop that takes less than an hour. Parking available.

Fun trails, and a perfect fall day yesterday. Slow going with lots of leaves on the trail, but fun with a couple jumps and bridges, plus the awesome scenery of the Northwoods. Lots of sidecuts and a few tough climbs. 👍✌

Very nice trail system. The section just before the big wood berm is one of the funnest sections of trail I've experienced. Could use a bit better trail marking/maps.

Really nice trails. Some markers need to be replaced but it's not bad.

Great trails. Some seriously difficult and demanding and plenty of mediums. Had a blast.

I Was following an AllTrails App hiking trail that was in no way marked, so I hiked .8 miles before I broke down and started using the GPS portion of the App and actually found the trail that takes you to the furthest loop. Bazillions of trails going every which way with either no markers or fork markers that say "easy" and "difficult". I was lost about 35% of the time but it was beautiful and adventurous. Hiked roughly 4.25 miles after a false start that took me on a loop that went right back to the parking lot 15 minutes after I started my hike. I thought Northern Wisconsin was relatively flat until this hike. Lots of hills and beautiful, varied eco-systems including bogs, Pine forests, mixed woods forests, a lake, and more. Extremely well maintained with boardwalks over the bogs and a small portion of the lake.

Nice trails but a little confusing with so many looks. Easy trail is very nice for mountain biking or hiking.

I would describe the trail as old school mtn bike trail. Really enjoyed a few hours out there!
