We live in Mayfair Apartments in Waupun. Jennifer the property manager is great to work with. We have had only a few minor things and they always respond right away. The apartment and 2 car garage is awesome. We will be here for a very long time. It's a great place to live.

Very nice people to work with so far. Seem to have their stuff together unlike former property offices i have had to deal with. My home is just what I have been looking for and is kept up by maintenance crew as well.

I have been renting from decker properties for over 4 year one of the best landlords building are super clean and well taken care of If something breaks or needs to be fixed they’re within 24 hours to fix it

I have lived in one of their units for 6 years now and I am always amazed at the loyalty and professionalism. They truly care about their tenants and the conditions they are living. Every matter I have had is taken care of the next day.

I live in one of the Waupun units. The manager, Jennifer, is wonderful. Maintenance is wonderful. Decker himself however, is not wonderful. We’ve lived here since 2020. We’ve never been late on rent, never had Jen call us because people complained about us, and never gave any trouble. Our rent has gone up over $130 in those 3 years!! This is absolutely insane!! Paying $1100 a month for a 3 bedroom is insane!! I was told last year it wouldn’t go up when we renew this year. Well guess what, it’s going up, again. Not $25 a month either. $70 a month!! It went up $80/month last year!! We started here well under $1000 a month. We are now at $1100/month!!! My wages aren’t going up, but my rent sure the hell is. I could puke!!

maintenance fixes issues promptly, plowing is done timely when it snows. Landscaping taken care of. However, had to move due to a situation of feeling unsafe with another tenant and was docked on my security deposit when I cleaned the apartment(as per their checklist). I was charged for two days of rent AND the pet fee for the entire month when I asked if it was ok that I stay a day extra to CLEAN. Wasn’t told I’d be charged. Had I been told, I would have stayed the day I moved to clean everything, which was December 1. Was charged to “repair” the scratches on cabinets and trim that I considered normal wear and tear. Tried doing everything right throughout the process and was still screwed over in the end after being a good tenant. Good luck if you ever move out ahead of their schedule. Terrible I lived at the Baraboo location and the orginal building Manger we had when we first moved in was clueless. I even over heard maintenance talking about how terrible of a person she was. Then I signed a month to month... and they still tried to keep us longer. Almost had to get a lawyer. These people are really sketchy no cameras at the baraboo location my car got broken into and I was looked at like it was my problem. Not safe terrible staff I am extremely happy I am out. I honestly could've felt safer homeless. Live and you learn DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!!

Decker Property Management was a nightmare to work with from the beginning. From leasing agents not responding during proper hours, to having a showing where the leasing agents got in a argument in front of me; to being accepted for a property, given a move in date, and then the day before my move in they text me saying they went with another person. The leasing agent had blocked my phone number so I was unable to even ask for another place after having the rug ripped out from under me. After some phone calls to the office I had realized that it boiled down to my service animal. They had expected me just fine, but when someone without a disability applied they decided to block me and go with them. The amount of times that both the receptionist and leasing agent had raised their voices at me or hung up on me is astronomical. I have never felt more disrespected or discriminated against. I am only posting this in hopes to warn others with disabilities that they are not excepting nor kind about it.

I have worked with many property management companies in my career, and I truly have never seen a less professional one. From not having information, to pure disrespect this company is not one I would recommend trusting.

The responses from the property management company to any bad review is perfect proof of their disrespect. They also clearly do not know the situation as I have messages directly from the leasing agent stating “congratulations you have been excepted and can move in next Tuesday” The way they believe I was rude, when I simply was trying to contact anyone from the company who would respond without yelling or blocking my number. Multiple people have already messaged me on Facebook saying they have experienced the same discrimination against their disabilities. I truly hope the responses they give towards bad reviews are noted by anyone reading this. Professionalism can go a long way, but unfortunately that’s not something they pride themselves in.
