Howard Johnson by Wyndham St. George Hotel & Suites

Bill was very nice and helpful. Room was clean and smelled nice. Towels were soft, but thin, nice comfy beds. Good location.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Had best night's sleep I have had in ANY hotel in past 20 years! Friendly office staff.

The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. The night manager was cordial, and helped us find a delightful restaurant for the evening. We plan to stay here the next time we are in St George, UT.

This place was excellent for the price, but what really made it great was the guy working the front desk. I didn't catch his name, but he was working overnight on 10/10/23. The only negative thing are the pillows are hard as rocks. Invest in comfy pillows and you'd be 10 of 10 A1!

Clean rooms, great service. The breakfast was lacking but overall great value.

Simple hotel. Rooms were comfortable and very clean. Staff were friendly, we especially enjoyed Grandpa Steve's welcome and helpfulness. We were a little concerned that the hotel/parking was next to a dark/vacant lot but everything felt very safe.

The gentleman at the front desk was courteous and helpful.
Everything in the room was clean and well designed.
Lack of options for people needing gluten-free and dairy-free foods. There were boiled eggs, which looked good. The eggs were still in the shells which would have slowed down the consumption.
We called Wyndham and were able to immediately get a room at this fine establishment even though the weather was awful and other travelers may have been stranded.
I also left a review of the Travelodge in Cedar City, UT just up the road. We tried to cancel our reservations there when we made the reservations in St. George; the front desk person was very curt and not understanding of the extreme weather in the area and why we couldn't get to Cedar City that night.

Wish we would had taken pictures when we got there but we got there so late we went straight to bed and had to leave early in the morning. The updated room was very nice and big. The bed was comfortable and clean. The bathroom would be my only complaint. The shower curtain bar was installed backwards so you only had half the shower, which is kinda small anyway. When we go there there was no one at the desk for about 10 minutes, probably on break or something and when we checked out there was no one there so we left the keys and left. Overall though, great place to stay.

For an inexpensive hotel with a reasonably priced pet policy, this was a pleasant overnight. We have stayed at this HJ three times now, as a stop along the trip from Minnesota to California. It is the only hotel on our trips (out or back) which we have stayed at more than once. The staff is pleasant and accommodating. The rooms are clean and recently remodeled. It's close to the highway for easy travel and located near many food and gas options.
It's not fancy, but for an overnight stop it was perfect.

You can’t go wrong with Howard Johnson’s in St George. They had everything we’d expect from a well-run motel at an affordable rate, by far the best experience for our money on a cross-country trip that found us in lousy motels at twice the price. Book with confidence!

I've stayed at this hotel more days and nights than I have anywhere else the last couple of years. It's the closest thing I've had to home for a very long time. The people working here have always treated me well and made me feel like I was right at home. The rooms are clean and modern at a affordable rate.

Nice location, nicely maintained. Bill at the front desk was polite, helpful, and professional.
Heater, fridge, microwave, shower were all great.
Bed, sheets, pillows were great. I like how they have a harder option and softer option.
I wish there were extra blankets and extra Kleenex in the room. Personal preference, but I like a little extra weight on my blanket.
Breakfast was fine. Oatmeal, bagels, eggo type waffle, hard boiled eggs, biscuits and gravy.
I got a great deal on the place. I've stayed there before and will probably stay there again.

This place was perfect for me and my cat. I was on my way to Cheyenne, WY and this was my first stop and it was so convenient. Nice bed, lots of pillows and all I could do is sleep. I was given a handicap room which was good for me because my back and hip were hurting so badly from the drive. The shower was wonderful as well, so soothing. If people have the time to look for problems then they don't deserve to stay here. The staff was friendly and cheerful.

LOVED this hotel! Very inexpensive at only $54 for a night (Cheaper than the local motel 6 with terrible reviews) Clean rooms, friendly staff, very dog friendly. I was very impressed with the soaps, fridge, breakfast, pool cleanliness, microwave and hair dryer. These are simple things that many budget hotels overlook but made our stay a lot nicer! We've been cross country traveling for 3 weeks now and this is by far the best hotel we've stayed at for the price! You can't beat it!

I must admit it didn't look like much but I was pleasantly surprised. First, I love that they had a room big enough for my family. It had 3 beds plus a pull out couch. I wish more places had that option. Breakfast want the most amazing one I have ever tried but the food was good and there was enough to eat what we needed to start our day. The staff was very friendly. The needs were really comfortable and it was clean and great!

Staff was nice and responsive to our requests. We did not have to wait for an answer for more towels, and we could not find a switch for the lavatory light. The man came immediately and turned it on. It was a new type of light in back of the mirror and was really luminous and pretty.

Nice, clean room with excellent front desk service! I lost my airpod headphones while staying, so I called the next day to see if they had them (thinking they were gone for good) and they had them at the front desk! I was so pleased and had a family member available to pick them up for me. I appreciate the honesty and professionalism of the Howard Johnson.

I'm very surprised by this hotel each time I stay here. The check in process was incredibly easy and the front desk agent was super friendly and welcoming. The room is spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and the shower worked amazing. For the price, it is certainly the best deal around and I will try to stay here any time I am in St George and need a hotel.

Very pleasant little place. Not five star like a resort, five stars for an honest, clean, well kept motel. Front desk was friendly too, that's always nice. If you're trying to travel economically (cheap?) put this one on your list.

Staff was very helpful, welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was good. Room was clean entirely. Our stay here was the refreshing! I also lost my key card in its holder at walmart and called front desk where the older Caucasian man immediately took action by cancelling the access on those lost key cards and when I returned back to the front office a few hours later, he had my new set of key cards ready and accessible and there was no extra charge. Thank you HJHS Team!
