Barcellos Family Restaurant

FIRST TIME AT THIS restaurant/bar . Went for lunch. Walked in smelled an looked very clean . They have a bar , an separate dining area , They also a private room for functions. I had fish n chips ,small white fish feilts cooked perfectly, their was no cole slaw not sure if was soppose to have it or not .. my buddy had sirloin sandwiches with house potatoes. Portuguese soup (no picture). All food was great .. I didn't eat again until 7 at night an was done on time to get back to work ..

Great food. Went there on November 26th. Had a male waiter. Took a month of Sundays before our water came,another month of Sundays before he came back to take our order,when it came,he never asked if we needed anything else. (And we did) He just ran away. Never came back to see if everything was okay. I noticed his coworker cleaning his tables after HIS customers left! What the heck was this kid doing? We gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was probably his first day.

This place was a pleasant surprise. Super nice atmosphere. Definitely upper scale family restaurant. Staff is super friendly and the soup was homemade and extremely good! We'll definitely be back regularly.

I came to Barcellos for the 1st time and was pleasantly surprised. The food was great, but our server was superb!
Her name is Aggie and she made our visit that much more pleasant. She was on top of everything and made sure we had everything we needed.
We will be back!

stopped on a wim. Excellent service - teamwork. quick and attentive. Food was really good. Authentic Portuguese food and lots of other choices. Prices are comparable. Would definitely recommend and would return.

My wife and I have been there over a hundred times and again tonight. Great food and service we always try to get Angie for our waitress.

The Calamari was fresh, tentacles lightly battered and gently fried. The Steamers were served with their bath and butter as well with a shell bowl, wet wipes and napkins. Fried smelt were a joy to eat, whole. Everything tasted fresh. The meal was better and the bill was lower than all other seafood restaurants I've been to on the Southcoast!

My first here today, excellent food and service. Everything is so clean and bright, nicely appointed. I’ve found a new favorite.

I went here with my wife a few weeks ago and the food was amazing the wait staff was quick and fun ..super relaxing.i went back last week with my friends and it was just as good seafood portions were amazing for the money

Our waitress Aggie was awesome. She is a delight. The place is very nice an the food there were eight of us. And we all loved the food exceptional. This is why I give five stars. I'm sorry I have no pictures to share. But highly recommended.

I've been to this restaurant many many times. I prefer to have Aggie as my waitress. She is extremely thorough, and knows her stuff. I had baked stuffed scrod, which was so big I only ate half of it. The other half I took home. Delicious! There were 10 of us in our party and everything went without a hitch. This is the second time our game is visited this restaurant in a month. We went back a second time because the first time was so good. Many of them have never been there before. Don't hesitate to try this restaurant I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

atmosphere. Our server, Aggie, was just great. Attentive without being overbearing. She was friendly and very efficient. I had the seafood extravaganza....soooo good. The food was delicious and the serving sizes were more than enough. We can't wait to go back and try something else.

Barcellos has the BEST clamboils!! Their waitress is the best too! It's a must to get my clamboil fix when we come to Fall River on vacation. It's my birthday weekend & then gave me a little birthday dessert with a lighted candle on top! So thoughtful!!! Highly recommend!
