Kathy is who facilitated our wedding 9-23-23. She made the process so very easy. She took away all the stress. The room was beyond beautiful, defiantly a cozy atmosphere. It made our wedding day very special. I must give a shout out to Jennifer who attended to myself (Bride) she was attentive, sweet & caring. Outstanding Jennifer. Doreen absolutely amazing very sweet took care of our family & friends as her own. Very professional. Big shout out to Leah our Bartender for a great night. outstanding, very professional & sweet always had a smile. Thank you all again.

Held funeral repast on 9/28/23 for 30 people. In person planning was easy, space ready when we arrived, the 'comfort' food lunch of soup, chicken pot pie & fixings were served hot, and nice array of assorted pastries. Our waitress was attentive & efficient. Price was comparable to other restaurants. They also offered different packages of breakfast or lunch to fit different budgets. Thanks to McGovern's for meeting our needs.

I love this place! If your looking for fresh homemade food that is probably just as good or better than your mom's, McGovern's is the place to go.

Just had my daughters sweet 16 and the whole experience was excellent!! Kathy was very helpful from the 1st moment we met up until the night of the event, even giving me tips on what to do with decorations as this was my 1st time throwing a big party like this. The night of the party was exceptional!! All of the banquet servers were great! They decorated all the tables for us exactly the way we had imagined, and it looked beautiful!! Jose was amazing!! He was so attentive to me and my daughter, making sure that everything was taken care of and that my daughter was happy the entire time. She was soo happy that he took so much time to talk to HER and make sure that things were going the way she wanted and that she was always happy throughout the entire night. I can't say enough good things about that man!! And the food was delicious!! Everyone at the party enjoyed it and had an excellent time! On top of it they were the most affordable place around. I would definitely have another event here if I ever have one again, and would definitely recommend it to anyone, you won't be disappointed!! Thank you soooo much McGoverns for an unforgettable, fantastic night, my lil girl loved every minute of it!!! ❤

I had family visiting from out of state and thought of McGovern's immediately! We were a were a large group nine people . The server we had treated us as if were long lost friends. My family was more than satisfied with the choice of restaurant and the food and service. When they visit again they asked to go back to McGovern's. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience!

Me and my Family were in the Fall River area. We went to McGovern's for lunch. Overall, the experience was excellent. The service was superb and our food was hot and delicious. Also, the interior was nice.

In fact, McGovern's was a go-to spot for my family when they lived in nearby Tiverton back in the 1970's. It was long before I was born (I was born and raised in Maine). The Blisses are definitely not strangers to this place. This was my second ever visit personally. The first time I visited here (and it was with family) was in 2010.

So overall, I'm glad us Blisses had a great experience on our visit once again in 2023 during our day in Fall River. There was nothing bad about the experience we had. McGovern's gets an A+ all around!

Food is excellent. It always comes out hot and exactly what we ordered. The waitresses are amazing also. Our favorite restaurant!

Rented for a bereavement gathering of 40 for my mother. The server was kind, friendly and great! the outside had a stunning view, beautiful room, wonderful experience. No one liked the potato salad fyi. But that’s it. Highly recommend.

Mcgoverns does an incredible job of hosting your wedding. Top knotch staff and food. Always a pleasure to be there!

Hadn't been here for over 11 years until today; took a friend out for lunch for her birthday. She turned 72 and did something today for the first time in her life: she ate chicken croquettes! She was originally going to have the shepherd's pie but everyone else ordered the chicken croquettes and since she's never had them before, decided to try them too. Few places make then nowadays and McGovern's were excellent! The server was very pleasant and so glad we went! And she loved her croquettes! Promise it won't be ANOTHER 11 years before I return!!

Took my mother in law there for her birthday. There was only one waitress on and the poor girl was doing a excellent job at keeping up! We all enjoyed the food, it was delicious, hot and fresh.

Friendly and professional attitudes atmosphere is always warm and welcoming and food is always great in plentiful and prices are just where you want to be this place should never change one of the last from the past

Went to a 25th Anniversary party. Food was very good n plentiful. Very nice surroundings.

We have a group of five couples dining at McGoverns. Everyone enjoys their daily specials and their traditional menu.

My family has been going to this restaurant for over 30 years. We always have top notch service weather just lunch or a full service party.

Stuffed mushrooms were a little dry, but very tasty. Stuffed quahogs were delicious and chock full of flavor and quahogs.
