This is a little hidden gem in Enciniats/Rancho Santa Fe. You will find wines here that other places dont carry. Yes they are pricy to an extend, but that is whom Meritage is catering to.
They have a nice tasting room with very friendly and experienced staff that will address any questions or concerns.
They also offer a great wine club membership as well as monthly events, so you should sign up for their news letter if you would like to attend these.
Dustin Cano is the GM and is a great guy. Talk to him about wine dinners or rare and hard to find wines.
