Took my 2018 Explorer in for a water pump. Those are internal in these vehicles so the engine has to be taken out to get to it which is a long job. Got the timing done also and a oil change cuz that is recommended while taken apart. I called around and nobody wanted to do it but they gladly took the job. What should have been a 2 day job turned into next day service. They stayed over all night just to finish up and my truck is running awesome so far. I will be returning for all my mechanic needs and I highly recommended them. Friendly, fast, efficient service and it was reasonable. Thank you Montez you just gained a lifetime customer. ❤

We took our Class C RV in for an emissions test around 11am on a Tuesday. We waited in line for less than 15 minutes before the female tech ran our test & approved our paperwork. We will definitely bring our other vehicles to Montez. One note: they do close during the lunch hour so make sure to arrive either before noon or after 1:30. Also, if the weather is bad they are unable to complete the test because it is done outside of the shop.

One of the places that still does emission testing. The line might get long depending on when you go. Best is to combine emissions with oil change or other routine maintenance so that you can skip the lines. The front desk person was friendly and it seemed like a small family run business.

I needed my rear catalytic converter replaced to clear the engine warning light, as well as to get my emissions passed. Two months earlier I had gone to a different repair shop that specializes in exhaust systems, and after initially agreeing to do the repair they told me they weren't able to do it on the morning that I brought it in. About a week ago the car started having issues with a misfiring cylinder, forcing me to have it resolved immediately. I asked Montez Auto if they could diagnose and do the repairs. They had the vehicle repaired in only a few days. They are also an emissions testing site, so when I picked up the vehicle they already ran the tests and gave me the results so that I could renew my registration. When I was driving home I realized my tire pressure light was off (my aluminum rims cause me to fill my tires every few weeks). This is a 5 star business all around.

Glad to see there's still a place you can take your car to have it checked so you can renew for your stickers. Person doing the test very efficient & friendly. Nice to see there's people who are nice.

I went to Montez to have them add some after market equipment to my Jeep. They did a great job at a really reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I have an old car I was not looking for a miracle at all! I was surprised for one they took on the challenge and fixed it so fast! They got the job done.

Emission testing, quick and easy!! We waited for a few cars and were tested and out within 20 mins. They get down to business no need to talk.... But we got some smiles.

Their automated phone message system is very helpful and they have good signage and a good setup. Their staff is very responsive and it was quick and easy. I went there for an emissions test but I’ll be back for other things in the future. Took maybe 5 mins.

Came here for the Emmisions Testing. They couldn't have been more friendly and courteous. Easy to get in, just stay in your vehicle until the parking spot reserved for the testing is open, pull up, present your paperwork, and they go to work. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. As stated earlier, the staff was very friendly and courteous. Was able to pay the fees and get the plate sticker as well.
Highly recommend.

I usually get emissions tests for our cars at Montez Auto Repair. They are always friendly and very efficient.

Fast friendly renew plates right there. 5 cars in front of me all of them done in less then 20 minutes. They have it set up where emissions test done without hurting their regular business.

Quick inspections are one thing. I needed a full brake job on my front end and these guys were superb. I think it only took around 90 minutes..including calipers and by far less than what i was expecting pay. Mechanics are people you hope you dont need. But when needed Montez is where I will be taking my car. Thank you!

Awesome Emissions Test Place and Auto Repair Shop , Real Fast in and out , For does out there that looking for an emission test this is one of the place to visit , excellent Working People , Recommended.

If you need your Emissions Test done this is the place. Don't worry about the long line you may see when you pull in, it will move fast. They are quick, they are friendly, what else can I say. Again, don't let that long line scare you, don't try to clean your car out while you are waiting in line, you're not going to have time.
