Holiday Inn West Yellowstone, an IHG Hotel

We booked the hotel because it has EV charger and it does not disappoint us! Three level 2 chargers all working and the charging is free! The room is ok. A little bit out dated in terms of decoration but it’s clean and functional. But I have heard that they are going to renovate it soon.

Front desk is very welcoming and check in is easy. We met Craig at the front desk and he gave us a lot of helpful recommendations.

The rooms were spacious. Restaurant food and bar were wonderful. We all agreed that the food was great. Kudos to the chef and kitchen staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly,pleasant, and efficient. The cookies and ice cream bars were a surprise enjoyed by all. I booked because of your amenities, and it worked out perfectly for my group of 11. Everyone utilized something.

I reserved a room for a special family meal to end our trip, which we celebrated my 80th birthday. Tom was so nice and did a stupendous job with every single detail. The meal was great,the service was great, and it ended with complete satisfaction from everyone to make it a most memorable trip for all.

I don't have enough adjectives for this beautiful trip of memories in your beautiful state. We covered Yellowstone Park, which is spectacular and a lot of activities to make this trip a trip of a lifetime.

My grandson said, "If you go to Disney, all the money goes to Disney. But here, all the money goes to conservation. Can't say it better than that to enjoy God's creations of nature.

We had a great time staying here for nearly a week. It was a nice location, walking distance to the stores and shops and a short drive to the park entrance. Nice that they offer a suite, we needed two bedrooms. Clean and safe. Nice staff. Comfortable lobby to hang out in. Staff at the restaurant were not as nice but maybe I can leave a separate review for that.

We had some minor problems with our room that were quickly addressed and fixed by the courteous and professional staff! Thanks! Nice pool, hot tub, and game room. Would definitely stay here again. Laundry room washers and dryers for guests were free! Big plus for longer stay with children. So close to everything YELLOWSTONE....stay here.

Location is ideally situated, room was spacious, well supplied, and fairly comfortable. Lots of parking available, totally accessible. On the pricy side as far as hotel rooms go, but on par for the location/area/proximity to Yellowstone Park. The pool and hot tub were great, always had pool towels available. Staff were friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 5 nights while visiting Yellowstone. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice. Bed was comfy. We liked how our room had a sink in the bathroom and one in the main area. We did not have an issue with hot water like some other people complained about. The location was great. Always found parking in the hotel lot. Coffee in the lobby in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Very nice hotel! Great location (West Yellowstone is a neat little town and convenient to get into the park)! The staff is super friendly, rooms are nice updates. Pool area is nice too!

Kind of silly how expensive this Holiday Inn is but obviously it’s because of the location. However, my husband and I were very surprised and impressed with the cleanliness, size of rooms, and staff friendliness! Would for sure recommend! Plenty of free parking on premises and easy walking to anything in town.

Great hotel I was super impressed with how clean it was, I stayed at another hotel paid more and it was dirty and the beds weren’t comfortable.
The beds are super comfortable, great pillow one firm, I got a king bed room.
The rooms are very secluded from the front desk so there’s always privacy.
Free laundry machines. Honestly one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Montana.

I brought a large group of students to this hotel for a Yellowstone field trip. The staff was absolutely fabulous! Special thanks to Bree and Jackie for being especially wonderful. They were patient and very helpful. The rooms were also very comfortable and pleasant. The game room was a huge hit with my students too.

Nice hotel, great location, nice pool/hot tub. Off season the prices are great. The staff was very nice and everything is in walking distance, this is a small town, perfectly located near the West Yellowstone entrance. The wolf bear exhibit nearby was great as was Yellowstone.

They should consider including a complimentary breakfast, simple would do.

I love this hotel. We stayed here after getting snowed on and freezing in our tent site. We needed a good, warm place to stay. The hotel is pet friendly. The staff are all very nice. We enjoyed the hotel restaurant and bar. Good food, friendly people. Beds are cozy and rooms are clean.

I stayed at this hotel last week and must say I am happily surprised.
From the outside it is such an unassuming hotel - you would never realize how nice it is inside.
The first thing I noticed was how nice the employees were. Even though I was arriving at night because of a late afternoon flight and a 95-mile drive - everybody at the hotel was very nice.
From there after I went to my room I was surprised that it was actually a fully size room. I'm not sure if all of the rooms have the same design or not.
After get my luggage squared away I went to the restaurant that is in the same building as the hotel.
The Branch Restaurant had equally nice people even though they were close to closing for the night everybody was very nice and they made my carryout order perfectly.
In the morning I was happy that the housekeeping employees did not make noise. Usually the first thing you hear at most places is the housekeepers at 6AM. Not so at this hotel - they were very quiet and you hardly knew they were even there.

Staff was friendly and helpful. 2 seconds from park entrance. I felt safe. Only one complaint, we had to pay for breakfast which was a average hotel breakfast presented more as a restaurant style buffet. The guy serving us was wonderful.

Solid hotel right next to the park. I stayed 4 nights with the dog and it was extremely quiet and very clean, in a great location. When staying with a dog, the hotel has you sign a paper saying you won't leave them alone in the room at any point. I have a super well behaved and quiet dog, so I went ahead and left him alone in the room anyway the 3 days I explored the park from 9am-6pm and didn't have an issue - No one tried to enter the room and everything worked out fine. If traveling with a pet to Yellowstone I would definitely recommend this hotel.

There is two spots for electric vehicle charging at the back lot. You can refill your water bottles at a station near the restaurant/ground floor toilets. Those toilets are big and if your hotel room has busy toilet occupant you can use that conveniently. It has two elevators and using stair is convenient. Room is convenient and spacious. The lobby is designed nicely and adapts to the environment nearby. West Yellowstone itself is a lively town and safe to stay it seems. Rom price though is expensive but it during low covid period (June) and peak tourist season. It's pet friendly and did not charge us for our one dog. We stayed at 3rd floor. NICE!!

Quality hotel with a rustic design that fits the area. Staff is accommodating and there are plenty of amenities on site. Very close to Yellowstone National Park as well so you can get a early start to exploring the park. Quite expensive but you do get a solid hotel room that you don't need to worry about.

After a couple nights at Old Faithful, my 1-night stay here felt like such an upgrade. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed. The on site restaurant was good, and the biggest surprise was a free-play game room that has foosball, air hockey, a cocktail arcade, a couple of gaming consoles, and a big screen TV. I would have gladly stayed here over the Old Faithful hotels had I known what I know now.

Very convenient and comfortable hotel. Wonderful amenities - 24 hr hot water for tea, coffee, plus pool & hot tub, in-room fridge, nice sheets!, attentive staff, large and comfortable rooms.

I checked all the chains that I am a member of and none were available.
Next, I looked up the available options for lodging in West Yellowstone and was shocked that the Holiday Inn was the highest rated in town.
After that I looked up the rates and got stick shock! I couldn't believe rooms were going to be almost 200 a night. Then I did realize it was West Yellowstone and options were limited.

I must say this is the first time staying at Holiday Inn as an adult. I vaguely remember staying in them as a child and was not impressed. However, I got to say they have definitely changed my impression of the hotel. The staff was super friendly.

I booked a room with a jacuzzi tub and it came in super handy as we were sore from long days of hiking.

The room was super roomy and they were able to be flexible as we had to change our plans and cancel our last night in town. They have plenty of FREE parking too. It's minutes from the west entrance of Yellowstone also.
