Great experience for kids! Highly recommend getting here for the 2pm tour, which is when they feed the animals. Our whole family loved it! They have bears, wolfs, bobcats, mountain lions and more. Highly recommend.

I really recommend visiting during feeding time which is at 2 pm. The guide was very informative and willing to answer questions visitors asked. The wildlife is more willing to come to the fence at feeding time.

We ended up here for a trail ride & had the best time!! Our trail guide was super sweet & gave great direction with each of the horses. During the ride she told us about the feeding time tour that would be happening shortly after our ride so we decided to stay!
The feeding tour guide was fantastic as well! Very informative & upbeat which kept us all engaged. I can’t talk highly enough about the staff because we encountered some rude people at other locations in Pagosa this week unfortunately. We had 4 adults & 4 kids. Ages 1-11 & we all throughly enjoyed the staff, the trail ride, & the feeding tour!

Great place. If you go at 2 pm in winter, they take you on a tour and feed the animals, tell you about them and answer questions. Very friendly and affordable!!!

We took the short walking trail and then the feeding tour where the guide was very knowledgeable about the animals. My two grandchildren enjoyed it very much.

Great little Zoo near Pagosa Springs. Only $10. Fantastic way to spend a couple hours. Horseshoe route walking trail to see Grizzly, wolves, black bears, mountain lion, and various other animals. Family owned and operated with a great back story.
Highly recommend for kids and families.

Unique wildlife experience! It was muddy terrain due to recent snow melt so I would recommend some boots or footwear with good traction! The exhibits are completely outside & it was a nice little hike around the circuit to see all of the animals. These were some of our favorites! The guide was very knowledgeable! Definitely recommend!

A must visit if you're in the area and have any interest in animals.

I personally recommend coming just before three, and catching the feeding tour. All the animals perk up, and Morgan, the Zoo Keeper and guide, provides exceptional information. Can't recommend enough, check it out.

The staff is amazing! The animals are very well taken care of! They allowed my autistic son to pet the horses to see if he would want to ride. Our Guide for the trail ride wS Mike and he was awesome! This place deserves 10 stars!

Didn't really know what we'd get here, but were pleasantly surprised. Wolves, coyotes, a grizzly bear, yak, goats, bobcat, mountain lion, etc. Definitely go at feeding time, which was 4pm when we were there. The gal takes you around and shares info while she feeds each animal.

3/25/21 Supper friendly people. Very reasonably priced at $10 for adults $7 for are 4 year old and free for are baby. Not to big of a place but good quality. They feed the animals and give a tour at 2pm that's included with admission and I highly recommend getting there 15 till to get ticket and be ready to see it. Self guided tour took us about 30 min and feeding took longer but we did not stay for all of it because weather turned at black bear but I would say somewhere around a hour. They have a bargain shed we found very interesting and my wife found a basket and 2 sets of small fancy glass cups. Also feel good supporting rescued animals that are treated well. If you enjoy the guide I ask you please consider a small tip.

Did the horse trail ride and walked throughout the place as they fed the animals. This is a family owned business and you can tell they care about the animals and want you to have a good experince. Worth going to if your in the Pagossa Springs area.

I had an amazing time at this park. You can get closer to the animals than you can if you went to a regular zoo.
