Momas Artisanal Ice Cream

Stopped here on a whim and wow, absolutely blown away. The ice cream is made fresh right in front of you and the flavor is outstanding. I had the banana and brownie and it was a perfect mesh of flavors. It was neat to see the owner making it fresh in front of us. She was very friendly and helpful. I also had to try the pineapple drink and that was amazing as well. Definitely worth a stop here and a cool story about the history of the business is on the wall. Highly recommended!!!

I usually judge a business based off of how you are treated when you first walk through the front door, and I was so pleased with the way I was welcomed and how she took the time to go over the menu and make some recommendations! My order was delicious!! We will definitely come back the next time we're in town!!

Rolled ice cream with a touch of Mexican sweets and candies, among many other things in their menu. They also own a place in Mexico that makes the same rolled ice creams but with American sweet and candies instead. Isn't that cool? What an interesting menu and overwhelming at the same time, not knowing what all these flavors and names are. But the ladies in the front were super nice and friendly and willing to explain them all and give suggestions. Excellent customer service! The kids and us enjoyed their ice cream and we also tried Horchata for the first time, a rice based drink. Very refreshing and not overly sweet. I liked it. Their Fruta con Crema (fruits with cream) was also very good.

The ice cream is absolutely delicious and the service was above and beyond. We had the banana and Nutella, my in-laws had the Tiramisu. Both were incredible. We will absolutely be back.

Easily some of the best ice cream I've ever had, the woman there are so sweet too. They have all this little candy toys and I truly recommend getting ice-cream there.

Wonderful little ice cream shop. I love how they literally make it from scratch in front of you with fresh ingredients! My daughter and I shared the Nutella & banana ice cream. So delicious. The ladies there are so sweet. Such a fun experience for my 2 year old. We will definitely come back.

Wow, what a unique ice cream experience! I ordered an Aguacate & Nuez (Avocado and Pecan) rolled ice cream, and it was delicious! It was served drizzled in caramel, and I am crazy about avocado and pecans anyway, so why not have it in an ice cream, lol! It wasn't very sweet compared to most ice cream, but it was very creamy and avocado-y! Pretty wild this is actually a thing, lol! :)

I LOVED this place. If you're looking for a traditional ice cream parlor, this isn't it. But if you're open to something different, and I think better, definitely check it out.

Can't wait until I'm driving this section of I70 again so that I can return. Staff was super friendly. The cherry milkshake was one of the best I've ever had!

Wonderful food and service! We took our kids for the rolled ice cream after having lunch somewhere else, and when we got to Moma's we wished we had just done the whole meal right there. We love Mexican food and all of the menu options sounded amazing. The ice cream was delicious, and made with fresh, healthy ingredients. The two ladies working there were very friendly and helpful and made us feel right at home. We will definitely be going back the next time we're in the area.

The ice cream was good but what really makes this place special is the staff. The ladies there were all so incredibly nice and made sure we had everything we needed, it reminded me of being at grandma's house. I'm not sure I've ever met a friendlier staff.

Amazing ice cream made fresh before your eyes - we had Nutella and Ferraro as a combo and it was so good!! Staff were really lovely too - great place.

Driving along I70 in Rifle? Treat yourself to something out of the the ordinary at this family run ice cream shop. Bring your sense of adventure, because the menu is wonderfully unique. Hand mixed, rolled ice cream served up by the most friendly and welcoming staff. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful place to take the kids! They make the ice cream right in front of you on freezing tables! Customize your flavors and toppings! Lots of yummy treats to try! Even offering some food items as well! The owner is the sweetest woman ever! We definitely love going here!

They rolled up the ice cream and you could put different fruits in there. It was all made in the shop in front of your eyes. It definitely has a unique taste that I loved. They are really popular though so expect a little bit of a wait - well worth the visit though.
