Southridge Athletic Club

Was a member for many years before it went belly up some years back. The new ownership has done a good job updating the place. You'll still recognize the place but everything is in better condition. You won't find a place with more racquetball courts as well as wally ball and I believe pickle ball. All the machines seemed to work. The weight room is very light on free weights. Only one bench I think. But the equipment they have works well. Plenty of barbells. The locker rooms are in good shape. A sauna and steam sauna were present. At least in the men's room.

Super friendly staff, lockers, equipment, showers, sauna etc are all functional. Desperately in need of expanding its hours though, it should switch to a door scan to unlock outside of like a staffed e.g. 9-5 so it doesn’t have to have staff on-site every hour it’s open and so that they can open earlier and close later (could easily become 24 hour that way too)

Love it here. Has all the space and equipment needed. Far less people. Minimal classes so if you like classes it's not optimal for you there. However, if you are like me and don't like competition for the same dumbbells or whatever with a billion other people then this is the place. I love it. If you do join and this review promoted that mention my name maybe it gets me a free month? 😉 I have no idea. Maybe it won't. But you probably shouldn't join because I need my space. I like socializing but I got to get my workout in. $20 a month 1 year contract. Annual equipment fee. I don't remember the cost on that. Ok fine join already.

In town for an event and found this hidden gem. Old school feel with some classic weight machines but with a bunch of very nice new matrix stuff and free weights/dumbbells, power racks etc too. Staff was super friendly. Would recommend for anybody who loves iron!

Pool and hot tub very nice. Weight room area lots of options, equipment, ropes, rollers, so much there. Cardio room needs fans, no air.

I think this place is awesome has a lot of machines basketball and racquetball courts also has a pool and hot tub and a sauna. The people are friendly and informative love this place nice safe place to workout at

Work out here when I come to Milwaukee. Beautiful club with new and modern equipment, but with old-school friendliness. Not pretentious like a Gold's gym. Would definitely join if I lived in the area.

Great gym, wish they were open a bit later but overall really nice place.

Alot of new equipment, I've never seen it crowded there. Staff is real friendly, you don't feel like just a number like at the large chain gyms.

Hot tub - pool - great free weights - treadmills - racquetball courts - this place is all that.

Awesome gym!! Has pretty much everything you need and want.

Good place to get some exercise and never too packed to get in and out without huge wait times
