The Cafe at The Inn

What a gem tucked away off of the main street in Benicia. The sunny patio is lush with well maintained landscaping and a vegetable garden. No wind! We stopped by for lunch, and our food was fresh and delicious. The grilled cheese sandwich was exceptional, crunchy on the outside and meltingly soft on the inside. This quaint cafe is now on our "visit again" list!

Not quite a trip to Italy, but loved the reminders of our trip with the amazing food, atmosphere, and accents. Order from one area and go around to a beautiful courtyard with colorful outdoor seating to dine "in" or take to go. We ordered croissant sandwich and lasagna and LOVED both the selections. Walk the short walk off the main street and you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful place to have a cozy lunch with a friend, or a peaceful cup of tea and a snack on a rainy day, or a celebratory brunch with mimosas .

The Cafe at the Inn has plants, flowers at every table, and multiple spacious airy rooms so you can choose which type of ambiance you want.

The service is friendly and attentive- but not too attentive-and very fast. Order at the counter and then sit at a table to wait for your food, but it doesn't seem like one of those places. I wouldn't shy away from taking a date there because of that.

If you enter from D St., walk thru the inn and make a right at the bathroom to enter the cafe.

Place your order at the front register! Menu is an all day affair so you can get a croissant or lasagna anytime.

Sonia was super helpful and explained all the food to us. We ordered a cornetta with egg and pesto, the small cannolis, and the smoked salmon with burrata (creamier than mozzarella, and frankly better). Coffee is served Italian style (small and creamy).

I fear for my lactose intolerance but overall this was a fun and refreshing meal that felt like an immersive experience.

Highly recommend for dates or impressing your parents.

Just have yet another wonderful dining experience here. The staff made us feel welcome. The food was brought to the table hot, well presented, and tasty. We’ve found our new favorite breakfast spot in Benicia! Great job!

Took my family here out for lunch and everyone loved every single item on the menu. Their coffee is super nice and smooth. Our kids love Bomboletti alla Nutella and Bomboletti con Crema.

Have been going on Thursdays for wine tasting from 4-6. Friendly staff. Can't wait to try breakfast with mimosas when time allows. Great food & locally sourced food. A must try.

Where else do you get the most delicious, smooth, delightful Italian espresso in a small Italian mug? Yes, in Italy:) I have been living in USA for 16 years but this is the very first time I enjoyed an authentic Italian coffee, and pastry as well! As a family business, this lovely family pays attention to every detail starting from an excellent costumer service to a mug you receive your coffee in❤ I love the authentic feel of Italy in every bite of their food they make from scratch and import it directly from Italy. You can kind of sense I fell in love with this Italian Amore piece of Benicia 🌟

This place is a nice breakfast/brunch/lunch spot with a delicious menu and great coffee. I got the salmon galette and I think next time I would try the truffle pesto gnocchi. I also tried the beef sandwich with Brie and it was really good also.

SUPER cute place with Amazing Gnocchi Bolognese which is what both my wife and I had on our little anniversary lunch together. We also shared a Caprese salad which was just greens, fresh slices of mozzarella, incredible sundried cherry tomatoes and pesto. I'm told by an acquaintance that the Gnocchi and tomato sauce is also amazing and "the best they've ever had." They have lasagna on the menu and a couple other things I cant remember. We shared a tiramisu for dessert which was so good I wish we had each gotten our own lol ;) lastly the people running the place were SUPER nice, friendly and inviting. We will 100% definitely go back to try their other dishes although, that Gnocchi was pretty dang good and it's hard to find good Gnocchi. I guess it's worthwhile to mention how the ordering works: You walk into the front (which is the rear of the beautiful Victorian(?) style house where you park) and place your order, there are also lots of imported Italian food items that they sell which we only browsed for a minute. Then you go outside to their beautiful seating area which includes a table in a cute gazebo or plenty of tables with umbrellas and they will either bring your food to your table if you plan to eat there or they will call your name for your take away order.
I can't say enough good things about our this place, and can't wait to go back soon!

Everybody was so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and the patio atmosphere is was very nice.

Feels like I’m in Italy. Amore Bistro has been such an Incredible addition to our town. The food is great the service so friendly. The special Italian food they carry wonderful. They have authentic Italian events like Thursday Appretivo Amore Bistro is the best

Excellent tasty food in a customer service oriented atmosphere. I had the breakfast croissant with cheese and prosciutto, which tasted very light and fresh. Also, ordered a piece of pesto lasagne to take home to split with my husband for lunch. Upon his first bite he said he wished he didn't have to split it with me. It was incredible, been thinking of going back for another piece.... all to myself this time!

Delicious coffee and orange ricotta cake, great use of orange blossom water. The cornetti, definitely worth the carbs. I'm so glad we stumbled into this place. Check it out.

June 21st. I picked up one of their lasagnas. I can't wait to try it. I just love this place. Everybody is so friendly.
