Slippery Otter Pub

We ate there every single day we were in West Yellowstone! The French onion soup is the best we’ve ever had, and we loved the wings! We talk about going back to West Yellowstone just to be able to go back to the Slippery Otter!

Had a really good Elk Burger here, fast and friendly service, fries were very good along with the salad and Otter Water Beer. FYI, they do not provide straws for the sodas or water here just so ya know.

Had the best Bison Burger I’ve ever tried here tonight!

If you enjoy a fun, clean pub, stop in here for a drink and food. I had the gluten free pizza and it was absolutely delicious! The Pub offers a wide variety of drinks and food options. The staff were friendly and helpful. I wished I lived closer because I would go back!!!

Very yummy place to eat. We were driving in to Yellowstone and glad we stopped! The salad was delicious and the wings were to die for. We cleaned our plates! My boyfriend also got an IPA that he highly enjoyed. Would definitely come back if we were in the area. Plenty of seating options, lovely menu, great staff, and awesome Montana and Yellowstone facts!

Great place at the wind down of the season. Service was awesome and she was very informative, the French onion soup was definitely some of the best I've had.

Edit... Went here a total of 3 times, never a bad meal. Bartender on the last day was awesome and chatted with us. Didn't have any wings, but the BBQ chicken pizza was on point!

Great burgers and even better staff!! Kody is great! After 1 time at the bar, he remembered our names and drink order. 👏🏼 They only have beer and wine but if you want a nice friendly and quiet place to enjoy some yummy food I highly suggest stopping in. The jalapeno wonton appetizer is a must try!

Great place with great selections. Wide variety of beer. Try a flight of their many beers. Reasonable wine prices. The french onion soup is awesome. Salads and pizza are also great choices. Burgers are flavorful, not dry. Fun atmosphere and well managed. One of the nicest places in West Yellowstone. A must stop for lunch or dinner. Hang out in the shift easy chairs on front of fireplace and have a beer.

Super friendly staff. Great food but fries are not as crisp as I'd like. I ordered the Bison Burger and it was DELICIOUS 😋

Great bar and friendly bartender. The French Onion Soup was quite good. The fries are the real deal. Nice selection of beers and wines. Would like to go back to try their prime rib and won tons.

Definitely love this place, most of the other locations to eat a great meal are closed for the season. This was my second time here and it did not disappoint. Staff here is always incredibly friendly, we had a pretty large group and they got us in almost immediately. You can get anything you want here, anything from a bison burger to an elk burger. Definitely recommend either or. Incredible appetizers, such as the huckleberry jalapeño poppers or even just a basket of fries. So good!!! The huckleberry soda was absolutely phenomenal, new for me but definitely adding it to my meals from now on. This restaurant is very clean and the restrooms are as well. Come in for an appetizer, come in for a full meal, or just come in for a drink. They have it all. And they’re open!!!

My grandma and I went there on our weekend trip to West Yellowstone and enjoyed our meal. They had great reasonable prices, and the staff was friendly and got our food in a reasonable amount of time. They had tables spread out and marked off to enhance the ability of social distancing. I definitely would go again.

When my Wife and I got to West Yellowstone in late October, the Slippery Otter was only open for one night before closing for the season. So we made a point to help there and the food was great and the owner was super nice and friendly. We will stop here again when we are back in town again. Great Place

Nothing special to look at, but great food! Elk burger was super tender and delicious and the jalapeño wontons were awesome! Would definitely return

Nice little restaurant in West Yellowstone, when visiting the parks all day, this is a great place to stop. Plenty of seating even with Covid distancing in place. The wait wasn't that long for this town.

The food was prepared the way we asked and received it hot even with a lot open people there in the evening. The staff was great and friendly.

If your looking for a variety of different dishes, this is a great option.

Food here was really good. The prime rib was tender and cooked just how we like it. The pizza had some spicy jalapeños on it. Washed all down nicely with a pitcher of Stella's. Definitely recommended.

Food was amazing, waiter was accommodating. Family friendly. They have a great Vegan burger, their chicken strips and chicken sandwich are really great delicious, and their sweet potato fries were my favorite.

Great little place on the main road into the west gate of Yellowstone. Stopped in on our way out of the park for a late lunch/early dinner. The special was a prime rib sandwich and it was spot on. The star of the show was the French Onion soup thou. Great flavor and lots of caramelized onions.

Love, love, loved it here!! The beers were wonderful and the food was great! Highly recommend
