Bar N Ranch

Highly recommend this lovely little spot! Austin was very friendly and got us in our room quickly. The room was very clean and inviting. The atmosphere here is warm, cozy, and incredible!

My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer! Their rooms were excellent, the breakfasts were delicious, and dinner always hit the spot! The staff are friendly and eager to please, they do a fantastic job at keeping you in vacation mode, with their hospitality, cheerful smiles, and readiness to accommodate. Every day spent at the Bar N Ranch was exciting. Ashley did a fantastic job at recommending what to do for fun and where to eat, can’t wait to come back next year!

We had such an amazing time at Bar N Ranch. Our flight came in late but they accommodated us with no problem. Ron made the BEST breakfast and chili we’ve ever had. Christian and Ashley were beyond amazing with coordinating our daily adventures. We went fly fishing with Lonny, who was a true professional. Not only was he an expert in fly fishing he’s was also great company to have around. It was like fishing with a close friend. We definitely will be coming back to stay at the Bar N Ranch. ♥♥ Dante and Isa

I cannot recommend this beautiful place more. We had a mix up on dates and were stranded on staying at a different place and at 11 at night they not only let us come and check in Christian came and welcomed us in the warmest kindest way. He was funny and kind and helped us when we really needed help,after driving from Texas we were exhausted and they rescued us from sleeping in our car. The room was beautiful and had everything you need. In the morning there was the cutest coffee bar and breakfast. They even let us check out a little after our time cause we were exhausted. Again the service and rooms were so great, stay here!! Thanks again Christian and Bar N team!

We had an amazing time at the ranch ! We rented a cabin which exceeded our expectations, it was clean , spacious and cozy . The heater came in handy when temperatures dropped to 50s.
The staff was impeccable, always super helpful with questions we had or small items we needed. They lend us bear spray, binoculars and a scope . The property is a dream come true with many horses and cows , the restaurant was also delicious . Free S’mores , coffee and tea , board games and books are offered inside the lodge. The lodge is stunning ! The pool had a great view. We took advantage of the hot tub since it was a bit chilly . Overall this is at least a 4 star ⭐ place ! We really liked the location, only 10 min to west Yellowstone !

Amazing. Beyond just being a beautiful, rustic accommodation, they are so thoughtful. They put out s’mores kits every night and light fires out back so you can toast them. You can write a letter or postcard and they’ll mail it for you - even internationally. We found these two things unique to the Bar N Ranch. So cool.

Now on to the staff. So helpful and friendly, but they lay down the rules like cleanliness and quiet times, and it makes a difference.

We also loved our room. We stayed one night at the Old Faithful Inn and canceled to come back to Bar N Ranch. That’s how much we loved it. Felt like home. And you can see cows!

Breakfast tacos and avocado toast with salmon at the restaurant are both delicious and addictive.

Highly recommended and we will definitely be back!

Bar-N-Ranch is “Bar-None” the best place to stay in Montana! Ashley greeted us so nicely and brought a bottle of wine to our room to help begin our Anniversary celebration. The staff was amazing and Ron made the best breakfast each and the steak soup on a rainy cold evening was perfection! The room was lovely and looked out over a gorgeous setting with a pond! Exceptional lodge and staff…We will be back!

we stayed in a wonderful cabin for four nights. , s'mores by campfire every night, breakfast made by my favorite cowboy Ron. Christian and Ashley were the best. Can't say enough about this place. pool games hot tub. ponds , mountain views. Just the best experience. We would come back in a heartbeat. If you want to get away from town and experience the sounds of nature , this place is a must.

Place was awesome, we stayed in the cabins and in the lodge, end of the season, still out-standing highly recommended…..Christian, Ashley, Ron and LuAnn all wonderful, … a must is Ron’s Blueberry Pancakes! … loved the time there, everyone helpful! They go out of the way to make you feel at home!

The Bar N Ranch was the PERFECT location for my daughter’s recent wedding. The accommodations at the lodge and especially the log cabins were awesome! The staff including Izzy, LuAnne, Ashley, Christian, Ron and others were very friendly and super helpful. The food from their restaurant was great. We held the rehearsal dinner, an outdoor wedding and the reception at the ranch - and everything was fantastic! BTW - the backdrop for photographs was amazing! With the entrance to Yellowstone 10 min away, everyone enjoyed exploring the park during the day. Night time fun with the many outdoor fire pit options was a great way for folks to bond. Lots of S’mores! Thank you Bar N Ranch for making my daughter’s wedding weekend spectacular!!

What a great stay! Rustic with class! Ashley and Christian were fantastic and so helpful in setting up our adventure. They helped us navigate our way through the park for our journey. Would stay here again for sure!

The food was delicious. It we order the Bison pasta and burger. Great portion sizes. A little on the expensive tourist trap side. Great for Breakfast and Dinner! Coconut Soda was average

My husband and I came here just after getting married on a “mini-moon” to stay in a cabin. We communicated with the staff before booking and they were super accommodating and helpful. I can’t say enough about how incredibly peaceful our cabin on the pond was. Who doesn’t love a fireplace? There is a little walking trail off to the side of the pond that was so serene and just the best way to start the morning. We ate at the restaurant as well and the food and drinks were tasty. Proximity to the west entrance of the park is superb as well, about a 10 minute drive. We will absolutely come back and stay here again!

We had a wonderful time at Bar n Ranch. The location is fantastic. 8 min drive from downtown West Yellowstone and the entrance to the park. We stayed in a 4-bedroom cabin and were welcomed with flowers, snacks and champagne. Everything was clean, comfortable with fantastic views. Rooms and decor were great and exactly as they appear on the website. The area restaurant is phenomenal. Will definitely recommend to everyone. The s'mores by the fire every night by Under Canvas was very nice touch. One of the family members stayed one night with Under Canvas and had a glorious camping experience. A fantastic stay in Montana. Thank you so much!

Easily one of the most enjoyable stays of my life. Ashley, Christian and Ron went out of their ways to make sure of that. Locations amazing. Foods incredible. Amenities next level. Highly recommend.

Magnificent open views in all directions. Great location for Yellowstone NP exploring. Probably one of the nicest places around West Yellowstone to lodge. We stayed at the third floor loft, good and cozy space with wood fireplace. A larger master bathroom and better furniture selection would have made this place almost perfect. Would change a few things, but would definitely stay here again. Great breakfast. Service was prompt, friendly and welcoming.

2 star hotel is very unfear, this is a great quiet location with a lot of entertainment for the hole family. Very cozy cabin and clean. Nice and helpful staff and restaurant on the place. We had a very nice experience

Wonderful cabins with wood burning fireplaces. Great staff, fine dining and incredible views. We loved our stay and would certainly go back. Close to YSNP and the nice little city of West Yellowstone which also has several good restaurants, bars and shopping.

The general manager Eric is absolutely awesome! A friendly and welcoming environment to eat in. Food is great! I had breakfast and for dinner I had the trout. The crisp skin and season was perfect. Eric is so nice that he gave me a little bowl of the seasoning to bring home on my fish!! This is a must if you’re staying at Under Canvas or close to the west entrance. Open to the public.

We just returned home after a 4 night stay at the Ranch main lodge. This was our favorite family vacation! Your staff is so kind and goes out of their way to make sure you are taken care of, we LOVED the live music and s’mores every night! We always had something to do at night after coming back from Yellowstone Park. And the pool was so relaxing to come back to as well! On site restaurant has a very unique and tasty menu, and we had a great server. I’m so glad we chose to stay with you guys for our first trip to Yellowstone!
