The East Fork Campgrounds are very beautiful. You will be completely immersed in the San Juan National Forest. The sites are very spacious and spread out. There are trails that lead down from the back edge of the campgrounds down to the San Juan River, though they can be a little steep in some areas. You can hear the river flowing from the campgrounds which provides an amazingly peaceful atmosphere. The vaulted toilets were clean and appeared to be well maintained. There are dumpsters available to deposit trash, and some of the sites have grills and picnic tables. I definitely will camp here again in the future.

It was our first time coming to Colorado to camp and boy were we glad we found this amazing site! Very clean, accessible, and conveniently spaced from town. Mary and buddy (the dog) were the campground hosts and they were amazing she kept everything clean and well stocked! Camping site has bathroom and toilet paper. Good place to camp and explore lots of trails and water!

Small campground tucked in the woods with ample shade from the pine trees. Access to town or bring your ATV. There is a huge parking lot to keep your trailer and then camp in one of these spots. We stayed in spot 18 and it was pretty level featuring a fire ring and a picnic table. There was no designated tent pad but plenty of room to pitch one. We also had super close access to the pit toilets which were brand new and super clean. This campground has a dumpster and spots are spaced far apart. Site 19 was unoccupied during our stay but is in the sun mid afternoon and doesn’t have as much privacy. Reserve online or wing it with the few first come first serve spots. No cell service here but just a short drive into pagosa springs

We had a spacious and private site amidst the tall trees. It had been recently groomed and the fire pit emptied. The host, Mary, welcomed us. The outhouse was spotless. This is an excellent campground with an excellent host!

Great campground and Ken, the host, is a great person and very friendly, he kept the campground in great shape! The location relative to Pagosa Springs is nice. The campground has some decent hiking near by and is near the starting point for some off roading, so the access road to the entrance of the camp ground can be a little rough in spots.

The only downside had nothing to do with the camp ground, but a large group (70ish) coming in the day we left (Monday, Memorial Day 2018). We were approached our first night and asked very rudely by their "leader" when we were leaving so they could get their area set up, apparently this is an annual thing. From talking with other campers in the loop he approached them in a likewise manner.

Only $22 a night. Yes, they have bathrooms, and yes, they have a place to dump trash. It's a small campground with plenty of hiking trails around it. And a beautiful view as you're heading back to the freeway.

This campground is beautiful and we are so excited to camp here when they open for the season. Check out Treasure Falls up the road too...it's gorgeous!!! We'll worth the 1/4 200' hike!

Went here as a last resort after other camp grounds were filled up. Found some great spots close to the river. Great staff and very clean, also quite at night. Will definitely be back!

Ideal camping spot with access to the river, quiet, mature trees that provide plenty of shade. The camp host was attentive and very helpful and friendly. Our spot allowed us to really spread out which was nice for privacy.

Veey well kept including the restrooms. Camp sites of many types. You are close to the river. There is a water pump for water but no power, no showers. The camp host does have firewood. There is zero connection to the world. 😀

We stayed one night here. It was so lovely. We were lucky enough to get a spot near the cliff edge so we could hear the river. We did not hike or move around much but we did sleep in and it was magical. So quiet and beautiful. The camp spots are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms were very clean and the hosts were friendly.

$22 and tons of space between spots. Organized campground amongst the tall pines; bathrooms were generous and clean. Great spot for a night or more.

Beautiful, clean and spacious. We set up a tent under the tall trees and used it to explore the area for a couple of days. Good road to the campground but best to have a jeep or off highway vehicle to explore farther up river. Old fashioned hand pump for water makes you appreciate how easy we have it now. Loved falling asleep to the wind in the trees and waking up to the birds singing.

Amazing campground! Stayed in spot 26 and it was probably the best of them all. The San Juan River raging below was the perfect white noise all weekend long. Hand pump for water and just vault toilets but Bob and Sandy kept them VERY clean! Tucked away but still close enough to Pagosa for any necessities. No cell service but didn’t mind unplugging one bit. Lots of shade as well!!

Amazing campground!! The camp host does a great job keeping the bathrooms super clean...I was very impressed! Great views and easy access to the mountains and Pagosa Springs. The campsites are good size, not on top of eachother and covered by trees.

Stumbled onto this place. What a beautiful campground. We got a site next to a river. So wonderful to pitch a tent and sleep in it with the sound of the water from the river. All the world trouble just melted away

We had a great host. A few mosquitos in late May. Rushing river at south end of campground gives nice ambiance. Large campsites. Clean vault toilets. Water was a bit chlorinated or sulfur-y and water is only accessible via ‘old timey’ hand pump.

My second home❤. Very relaxing place to get away from the city life. I have camped it out in tents and a camper. I had a good time experience with both. No water connections when you go further in and you do lose phone signal which was fine . Hoping to come back once more in the future.
