Bear Country Bakery

A nice quality place in West Yellowstone. They have a good range of options and their coffee is very well made. Elk and buffalo sausages were something exotic that caught my attention and I do suggest their bakery items especially the bear claw for chocolate lovers

Amazing gem of a bakery - I've never had such authentic, delicious, perfectly executed cream horns. The owner is super friendly and an incredibly talented baker. Everything we had was so delicious we wished we'd gotten more. 🤣

Cinnamon rolls that are huge, tasty, and not too sweet. The chocolate bear claws and coffee were excellent as well.

Pros: great baked goods and coffee, places to sit, friendly and helpful staff, some seating (counter service), AND it is where the locals go.

Cons: none that I experienced

Sweet staff who work here, the freshly baked items are delicious, they taste like they are made with love. The drinks are made perfect every time. Highly recommend.

Delicious, fresh, huge cinnamon rolls and donuts! The maple iced long johns are the best! We always come here for fresh baked items when we stay in West Yellowstone. This is a quaint little bakery that's just fun to sit and have breakfast or a snack. The atmosphere is relaxing. A good place to sit, enjoy a bakery item with coffee or hot chocolate, and plan your day at Yellowstone NP. A trip to Yellowstone NP wouldn't be complete without a cinnamon roll from Bear Country Bakery. The service here is always friendly!

Small little Bakery but the food is always good and the coffees are always good. every time I've gone in there there's no seats as it looks like most of time has taken up by locals. But this might be a good thing.

I came in the morning to find a sweet breakfast for my family and was NOT disappointed!!! The cinnamon rolls were HUGE, delicious and not too heavy. The bear claws were OUTSTANDING.
The service in the morning was great! I had to wait a minute or two, but they made me feel like an important member of their own family. I was happy to wait a couple minutes (literally. It wasn't that long) for such amazing baked goods!

The Cinnamon rolls and the croissant sandwiches are delicious here. So glad we went there. If. You're looking for a great bakery look no further.

Saw the sign for shwarma and went in. Yes, a bakery selling shwarma pitas. We had the shwarma salad and coffee. Delicious.

What an awesome place!!!! The cinnamon rolls are huge! We also had an egg and sausage and a ham and cheese croissant one morning and they were excellent as well. They open at 7 and they are a few blocks from the yellowstone park west entrance. Plenty of street parking. I believe this is truly the best bakery in all of yellowstone.

A great bakery often seems to hard to find, as far as quality and assortment. I read other reviews on the good cinnamon roles here. My only regret about this place was not coming the first day. Excellent pastries. Cinnamon roles are absolutely best ever. Not heavy, dry, or too sweet.or too big.

Needed something hot before entering YNP. Stopped here and ordered the cinnamon roll, which the counter person warmed for us. We also shared the sausage and egg croissant upon her suggestion- hit the spot! Filling without being heavy, perfect for a day of hiking in YNP. Many desert options as well as gluten free items.

This is a lovely cute cafe and the food was nice but it was over priced so I wouldn't go again just for that reason tbh.

Not sure why this place doesn’t have 5 stars it’s phenomenal!!! My wife loved the elk sausage roll. I had the feta egg croissant both absolutely amazing! The dough to me was perfect texture with a hint of sweet to it!
The bavarian filled donuts and huckleberry bear claw and cinnamon roll were also fresh, delicious and amazing!! I highly recommend this place.

Great iced latte but star of the show is the pastries, and specifically MASSIVE cinnamon bun. So fresh and light, absolutely a must-have!

We were headed to YNP and passed through West Yellowstone, stopping to stretch our legs. As we walked by this shop my eye caught a glimpse of the biggest, most beautiful cinnamon rolls I have ever seen. Bakeries are my weakness, so I had to go in and buy one. Also picked up a bison sausage roll and an elk sausage roll. We enjoyed everything so much. So delicious. Hopefully in January, when we go back to cross country ski, this bakery will be open so I can eat all the things!

Stumbled upon this after walking out of Mountain Mama’s for their ridiculous prices and so glad we did! Breakfast burritos are HALF the price of the other place and by the fact that they were sold out before 8:30am, I imagine they were pretty good. Really cozy space, and friendly worker!

All the baked goods look amazing - with excellent huckleberry options and a variety of bear claw flavors. Cinnamon roll was amazing and HUGE! The savory breakfast croissants were delicious and so filling. We couldn’t finish it all (leftovers for the trail!) and it was very good bang for the buck!

Awesome place close to the main road to the west entrance. The bakery items are so delicious. The staff is very friendly and have great recommendations. Stop in before you head to Yellowstone and you would not be disappointed!

Delicious coffee with delicious homemade pastries served to you with a smile! There aren’t many coffee shops in this town but Bear Country is definitely the one you need to visit when in Yellowstone!
