My wife and I truly enjoyed our time in Wallace! We especially enjoyed the silver mine tour! Our driver was spectacular and the miner who took us into the mine was born to mine! He is a great man and an excellent fit as a guide!
We thank you all!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tours run often enough there is little wait. A lot of interesting stuff at the store/tour depot! Trolley ride was fun & informative. Mine tour was great! Lee was good clean fun, full of knowledge & experience. He gave 2 book suggestions that I made note of & plan to check out. Fabulous way to spend a little over an hour!

This is so worth it! Lee was our tour guide, what an amazing man, full of knowledge. The Trolley driver...I will call him "Wally", retired Navy-great bantering with the guests and a bonus of some history of Wallace. (I am not sharing many pictures....this is so you will go check it out for yourself.)

One of our favorite stops on our trip! Well worth going!! All the tour guides are retired miners, who really know what they're talking about. Our kids loved (Lenny) our guide's humor! We were also very impressed with the trolley driver and the lady who checked us in at the beginning of the tour! She really helped us out!

First-hand narration by a tour guide recounting his silver mining work experience leads to a memorable, informative experience walking through a silver mine, with additional narration on the ride to and from the mine tunnel on a trolley where you can learn about the interesting city of Wallace, Idaho.

This was one of the coolest tours! I had no expectations really, but it was absolutely fascinating! The tour guides were personable, knowledgeable and we felt so comfortable. We learned a lot and my son even got to use some of the machinery underground. He was thrilled! It’s cold, so bring a sweatshirt. But even if you don’t have one, they will lend you one. We can’t wait to go back again.

Loved this tour, great way to learn about the town. Dog friendly & they were very sweet with my senior pup. Tours offered every 30 mins. Pro tip: stop in at the 6th & Cedar before / after your tour which is also dog friendly! Street parking.

My husband and I came here for the tour and we really enjoyed every minute of it. From the trolley ride downtown Wallace up to the mine. It was a great time. Marty are tour guide in the mine was wonderful and such a nice person. I would recommend however, if you're sensitive to noise, bring some ear plugs for when they demonstrate some of the equipment. It's extremely loud and if you're sensitive to noise, it may be a problem for you. Also, if you're afraid of the dark, please be prepared that there is going to be a portion where they're demonstrating the darkness of the cave. This may scare young children in particular. I highly recommend this place in this tour. It's worth the very small amount you pay and you'll learn a lot.

My group really enjoyed this tour. The trolley ride to the mine was informative about the town history and the guide at the mine was wonderful. As a retired miner he had great insight into life and history of the silver mining industry. The tour was interesting and felt interactive. If you have time to only do one tour in the area this is the one to choose.

We love this tour! The tour guide had so much to share and turned several of the machines on. (If you have small kids or those sensitive to noise bring earmuffs) It is amazing that men go down and work underground every day for products that we never know we use. Our guide was a 4th generation miner! Will go back and do this again when our little kids can remember but our big kid loved the tour!

Amazing! No disappointments at all except you can't keep the silver. Phenomenal people running the entire shop, trolley, and mine tour. Great for kids, great gift shop, and extremely informative and engaging.

It's was a nostalgic trip to the mine after 23 years when I went there as a 5th grader. And it was awesome to see things that were a lot bigger when I was a kid, and then everything now looks normal size.

This was an interesting mine and the tour guide and trolley driver were both very welcoming and funny. You can tell people love what they do here and have a passion for educating people on mining. The tour guide was a miner for a very long so he was very knowledgeable. A nice tour and I would highly recommend!

Fabulous! The tour guide in the mine was a real local miner and could intelligently answer any question. My kids were fascinated.

The trolley tour guide was hilarious and we had no idea the history Wallace had. Both the mine tour and the trolley tour kept my young kids' attention and were very interesting for adults.

Very very pleased, worth every penny. Some other people in our tour said they had done other tours and this was by far the best.

Great learning opportunity for the family. Lenny is a great tour guide with actual experience working in mines. He made us laugh all the way through. You get to see some of equipment actually being used. Bus tour gave some interesting history of the town and area. Highly recommend going.

My husband and I were looking for something fun to do during our time in Idaho. We were excited to find this place! We got lucky and were the only people on our tour, which was nice and felt more personal. Plus our guide was extremely friendly, had a lot of knowledge about the mines, and a great story teller. The trolly ride on our way there was comfortable and convenient. Our driver was friendly who pointed out many different things about Wallace. I highly recommend doing the tour! Also would recommend calling in advance to confirm scheduling/tour guides.

If you are visiting Wallace, this tour is awesome for the family! Marty was our guide (he is a fourth generation miner from the area) therefore he knows his stuff! The informative tour through town is super relaxing after walking through the mine as well! 😁👍 - Great experience overall.
