Superb old classic building with delicious affordable wine bar (wines are kept in an old bank vault you can walk into) and the burnt ends Mac n cheese was really good. Served Kenzie (spelling?) was fast. Good drinks and beers selection. Get there for a lunch or dinner eat well. Take pictures.

We were in Wallace for dinner and decided to try this restaurant. It was amazing. Great food and even better service. Colby was our waiter and he was awesome. Very friendly and welcoming. He was very attentive! I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Excellent in every way! Best gluten free pizza you'll ever find. We had the thai chicken and it was perfection. Service was wonderful as well, and prices are reasonable.

We were in town skiing and googled great places to eat and this was a top recommendation. Would have to agree. Got the Thai Peanut Chicken Pizza and it was delicious. Also, got the cookie for dessert which was fabulous.

I couldn't believe my tastebuds. If you told me that the best pizza I would ever taste was in the pan handle of Idaho, I would have laughed at you, yet here we are! I ordered the most seemingly bizarre pizza on the menu, the Thai Chicken pizza, and I was floored by the quality, and rich flavors. To break it down, the crust was perfectly thin, and just-right crunch. The cheese was stretchy and plentiful, and very very tasty. The toppings were clearly fresh, and cooked to perfection, and the fresh vegetables were crisp and not overly softened by the hot pizza by the time it arrived at my table. It was bliss. While eating, the staff was very attentive and I saw them delivering even more impressive dishes and entrees around the restaurant with big smiles. One of them was carrying an absolute UNIT of a pretzel hanging on a huge hook standing it up on the table. It was mouth-watering. All this and a glass of self serve wine? They had a really cool self service wine draft in the middle of the dining room, that was a total showcase. Do not pass Wallace if you're traveling through the silver valley, cause you need to try the Fainting Goat.

Great spot in Wallace! Was able to order a vegan meal, with the hummus and the veggie pizza minus the goat cheese. The hummus is house-made and tasty. Pizzas are personal size, maybe with some leftover if you're not super hungry. The patio is really nice, backing up to the greenery on the hillside. The building itself is neat, and looks to be a former bank from the old days. They allow dogs on the patio, for good or bad, depending on your preferences. The huckleberry lemonade, a cocktail with vodka, was very good and on the strong side. I'll be back next time I'm in town.

Over the course of a weekend we ate dinner twice and came in for wine. Everything was top notch from service, food, cleanliness, and friendliness of staff. It was the first time we had come across the self-serve wine dispensers. That was worth the trip to test it out. Items we ordered that were excellent and we would again were the pizzas (GOAT and Margherita), Mac n Cheese, French Onion Soup, Brushetta, and all of the salads. Great atmosphere and we felt welcome each time we visited.

The Fainting Goat is, in my opinion, the BEST restaurant in Wallace, ID! I tried many of their dishes and they were ALL fantastic! From the brick oven pizzas, to their soups, Cajun pasta, fried pickle spears and even their onion rings, you absolutely cannot go wrong picking anything off their menu! The owner, Drew, and his staff, consisting of his wife, his sons, who are both wait staff and cooks, to his dedicated servers, Amy, Kinsey and Sharon, among others, make this a fun, inviting and welcoming atmosphere!
(Unfortunately, I wasn't able to try any of their wines, which are plentiful, or other adult beverages, because I usually stopped by at lunch while working, but it's a nice place to just enjoy a glass of wine, or two, also!

I go here all the time since I live in town and it’s amazing, been like that for several years. Both their dessert and regular food is always good and the vibes and servers are awesome. In the summer and spring they have outdoor seating too which I absolutely love. Great location as well and fun to go to with friends

I stayed in Wallace as part of my road trip and stumbled upon this restaurant by luck. The staff was very Friendly and attentive. There was a young man working and he spent sometime engaging in conversation, which I really appreciated as I got to learn more about the town life. The food itself was terrific both in flavor and quality. If you are looking for a laid back meal, this place will not let you down!

We had dinner on 7/8/23. Just happened to be heading West and need a place to spend the night & ended up in Wallace. What a gem. The wife had a couple different wines while drank a local IPA from Wallace brewing. Service was excellent. We had the French Onion soup, 1/2 Ceasar salads Caprese appetizers.
Had to wait for about 30 minutes to be seated but they texted us when our table was ready. Gave a chance to check out a couple of places..
Highly recommend.

This place was awesome. The service was top notch and the food was fantastic. We used the wine bar and that was a ton of fun. You can try wine in small amounts before committing. We got the Mountain Man Nachos, and the Ziti. We got the cookie and ice cream for dessert and it was amazing too. One of the owners greeted us and we heard some of their story as they just bought in earlier this year and just opened up in June. Would definitely recommend this place and we will go back again for sure!

Uncle and Aunt took me to The fainting goat because of its uniqueness and I was not disappointed! The building is full of history and as mentioned has such a unique look and feel, modern yet classic nostalgia. 👌
We all got a different pizza which I believe is Brickhouse style. We where so hungry we didn't even take pictures if the pizzas. But trust me, each one is killer! 💯
The Huckleberry Wheat Ale was absolutely to die for 🍺

I have been here a couple times. The french onion soup is a show stopper and a fall favorite. I had the spicy Italian Panini and it was a little too spicy for me, but my husband loved it. The cowboy Mac and cheese was also very good. I couldn't resist the Binet for dessert, it was good, but not traditional; more like a donut. AC is light, which is great because you are not freezing or sweating.

This was our first time dining at the restaurant. The food was excellent and I noticed the front of house manager looking at each dish prior to servers bringing food to the table. The building is an historical place, once serving as a sort of assayer's office for the mining company. If you're in Wallace l highly recommend checking out thr Fainting Goat!

The ambiance is that of an old rustic 19th century Bar meets modern updated quaint restaurant.
Friendly staff that anticipates your needs before they are voiced, so that the little things are taken care of without a hitch.
Excellent Bison Sliders. moist meat on REALLY delicious homemade buns. The house made sauces are the "cherries" on top of all of it.

when You come here you'll have a pleasant relaxing homey environment to enjoy great food with a staff is top notch.

If I had it my way, the Kickin' Hawaiian pizza would be my nightly feast! The caprese style bites? Absolutely heavenly. And don't get me started on the apple pie churros and brick oven cookie – they're the cherry on top of a fantastic meal. Plus, the staff? Friendliest folks around!

I always stop in Wallace on my road trips to Montana but have never tried the Fainting Goat until now. We’re foodie snobs and just thought we were going to grab basically overpriced fast food. Boy were we surprised! The food was really really good. The wings were perfectly crispy and the fries were fantastic and different. The Mac n Cheese was the bomb. And they had actual Gorgonzola! Sharon was on point and personable. Thanks Fainting Goat for a great meal.
