This was our first stay at the Brooks Hotel and it was wonderful. We stayed in the Madam's Suite which was nicely appointed and very comfortable. The shower in the bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. We also made use of the fridge and coffee pot. There is a microwave in the room as well but we didn't use it. There is a beautiful soaker tub in the room too which we didn't use but it looked very luxurious. The room even came with robes for guests to use which was a nice touch. The hotel had plenty of parking for us and is located very centrally and super convenient to all that Wallace has to offer.

I also have to mention that every single staff member we encountered was exceedingly friendly and helpful. There has been incredible amount of work and care put into this hotel by the owner and it shows. We had breakfast in the lounge on the day we checked out and enjoyed our conversation with the bartender/server. She provided friendly and fast service and the food was delicious.

This will not be our last stay at the Brooks.

Our waitress, Julie, was very gracious. She kept our coffee hot and gave us just enough attention to Kee us happy. We hope we tipped her richly. Thank you, Julie!!!

Good place to stay and people were friendly! Small town shuts down early so be sure to get food before 8:00pm!

Absolutely the best hotel I’ve stayed in, ever! The beds are extremely comfortable (buttery soft sheets and great pillows!), the decor in the rooms is modern yet homey, and it’s exceptionally clean! The history behind the hotel was very interesting to learn as well. The renovations were done beautifully while still keeping the character of the building. The service was great, everyone was extremely welcoming.
The town is absolutely adorable and very welcoming! Tons of little stores and great restaurants in walking distance as well.
Highly highly highly recommend stoping in and staying here, it was a highlight of our trip!

Stayed in a king room, we really liked the room and it was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. Stopped for breakfast on the way out and the food was great!

We stayed here on the way to Glacier National Park and were very glad we chose The Brooks. We were lucky enough to be assigned to the newly renovated Madam's Suite and it was great. Very luxurious with a spa like bathtub and brand new super comfortable bed. It was very nice. And this hotel has a great breakfast restaurant.

So, I wrote a review last year about my stay in room 105, and I gave it a 2/5. I was unhappy with being charged full price for a room that hadn't been renovated and was in serious need of some help. The customer service was NEVER an issue. But the room wasn't quite up to par as far as I was concerned...

Here I am a year later, back in room 105... Emily and Rachel have worked their butts off to make this family owned hotel as pleasant as possible. A complete overhaul was done on this room and it looks fantastic!!! Every issue I had last year has been updated and the room looks absolutely crisp and clean and inviting. The room is quite small but it doesn't miss a beat when it comes to having everything needed in a hotel room. The bed is super comfortable and the pillows are fluffy!! Aesthetically, the room is PERFECT!! The customer service was top notch, as usual, but that's never been an issue. I didn't make a reservation until almost midnight but Emily came right to the office, smiling, when I showed up to get a key. She never acted like I was a bother or she was annoyed. Then she really helped me out extra, when I had an issue on my end....

Without a doubt, I have absolutely no problem giving the Brooks 5/5 this time. Emily and Rachel are working their butts off to keep this family ran business afloat and doing renovations one by one when money allows. They are super important in our small community and they try really hard to keep the small town feel while the rest of the world is big city crazy... Most definitely consider The Brooks Hotel. U will NOT be disappointed.

Thanks for your help Emily!!😊

I attended a birthday party & a Kentucky Derby Party in the bar at the Brook's. In both instances the service was friendly & efficient.
They allowed us to bring potluck items & decorate for both events. In the case of the Derby Party, we wished to serve Mint Juleps & they allowed us to provide a homemade mint simple syrup & taste several bourbons to determine what we wanted.
There is a small restaurant & spa on the premises as well. I enjoyed my visits

This place is awesome! Such a beautiful interior and fabulous ambiance. Our kid loved watching people down on the street below our window. Even on a busy holiday weekend we were perfectly comfortable in our quiet room. Absolutely will be returning soon.

Review for restaurant; excellent!! Would give 10 stars if I could. Great quality food. And absolutely no skimping on portions. I got the biscuits and gravy breakfast as I was trying to save $ by getting what I thought was a smaller portion… That was absolutely not a small portion!

Quick Read - If you are looking for a home feel where you can relax in the center of town you have found it. You won't regret booking your accommodations here.

Detailed Review - This was my first visit to The Brooks Hotel and I was beyond impressed with their hospitality, service, and family type of feel. When I travel I expect a cold attitude at the front desk, you know someone just stamping away paperwork and trying to get you out of their hair as quick as possible. It was absolutely complete opposite. I came in to find Emily at the front who was caring, respectful, and made my family feel at home. The accommodations themselves were great, we had reserved two king suites and they both had an amazing amount of room also were very well designed. The view from our rooms were great being able to wake up and look out to see downtown Wallace was amazing. The hotel had some great amenities such as a breakfast/lunch restaurant and a lounge. Even better was the fact that the hotel was walking distance to all of the great shops and restaurants. The local grocery store is also within walking distance and has a great selection. I obviously cannot say enough great things about The Brooks Hotel. We came up for a weekend getaway and we found a hotel that we will definitely visit again. It was a great place to go to relax and immerse yourself in history.

The owner and her Staff were all very efficient, friendly, and accommodating when I made my reservations.
Upon my arrival, I was welcomed to the town of Wallace and given some good info on activities.
The room was spotlessly clean and filled with nice touches like plenty of super soft luxurious white towels (which I totally appreciated). The bed linens were pure white fine weave cotton and I felt as though I was getting into my bed at home.
The hair dryer was awesome since I didn’t pack one.
I was up on the third level where it was very quiet and I had a great view of the many Historical Buildings.
Coffee pot in the room was a great bonus.
Breakfast was excellent and they offered great selections.
I couldn’t have asked for anything else - very satisfied guest and will be back soon I hope.

This hotel is run by hard working owners, Emily and her mom, who are trying to save the historic charm of the town with this family hotel. After seeing other reviews with lower stars don't listen to them, the customer service is AMAZING! It is hard to find reliable employees and the owner are wearing several hats, give them grace this is not a hotel chain with unlimited resources. The story behind this hotel is a great one, family run and being turned around by the younger generation. Ok now on to the review of the hotel itself....We were arriving late and the owners Emily and her mom were so sweet to send us a video via text message on how to get to our room. Since the office is only open until 7pm, so they can have a life too, this was great for us to be able to just stroll in without a timeline. The rooms are being renovated and we stayed in Room101 it was so cute and the attention to detail was on par. The bed was super comfortable and Emily has done a wonderful job putting her artistic skills to use with the old meets new charm of the rooms. Don't be turned off by the old building, take it as an adventure and mixing old with new, you'll love it! The renovations are being done as the money is available, such a great way to keep the business running. The next morning we grabbed breakfast at the restaurant in the hotel and it was excellent, most places in Wallace do not open until 9am, so by being open at 7am this was a real treat. All I can say is they are doing an amazing job cleaning up the hotel and you won't be disappointed staying here.
