We recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Shaun’s dental practice with my dad, and I must say, the experience was exceptional!!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the friendly team. Not only were they incredibly kind and accommodating, but they also went above and beyond to ensure my dad’s needs were met. Dr.Shaun and his team displayed a level of care and professionalism that truly impressed us. Their attention to detail and genuine concern for my dad’s well-being made all the difference. We left feeling grateful and amazed by the outstanding service we received. I highly recommend Dr. Shaun and his team to anyone in need of dental care!!

So fun! I love the people who work here. It makes me enjoy coming to the dentist, which isn’t something you find everywhere. Plus they have movies like Trolls to watch in the waiting room. 12/10!

I’ve been a patient at Healthy Smiles for several years and will continue to be for as long as they’re around. The hygienists have always been so kind and gentle with cleanings. Dr. Shaun McNees was incredibly thorough and efficient with my exam, I was very comfortable with his recommendations.

I was in for a routine cleaning but they offered to do a same-day filling, I wasn’t able to do it but the front desk got me scheduled quickly and gave me a breakdown of what I’ll be responsible for paying.

My family also all come here, this truly is a wonderful dental clinic and I’d recommend them to anyone without reservation

I cannot say enough good things about this dentist and his staff! I went in on an emergency and they took care of me immediately. My tooth looks better than it did before! I definitely recommend you give Dr. McNees a try, you won’t be disappointed

Dr. McNees and his staff at Healthy Smiles Dental are the most caring and welcoming people and dental staff there is. They only want what’s best for their patients, and it shows from the moment I walk in the door! I personally recommend their services to anyone looking for a dentist!

I was calling Dental offices around town because I needed an emergency procedure done and out of all the offices, Healthy Smiles was the only one that was able to accommodate me. I am a new patient and everyone in the team was very friendly, welcoming, and professional at the same time.

Frances at the front desk was super friendly and I felt welcomed the first time I talked to her on the phone. Brenda, the Dental Assistant was equally the same.

Dr. Preece is an amazing Dentist! I felt comfortable, asked me what my goals were, performed the emergency procedure and made sure that I am at ease. He looked at every possible options before resorting to extraction. His hands were very light and made sure I was okay the whole time. He even personally called me the same night to see how I am doing. The office also checked on me the next day.

I decided that this will be my permanent Dental office so I came back to get a routine check up. Met Leslie, Hygenist and she was very nice as well, funny, and professional. I like the office a lot that I moved my whole family to start coming here.

Dr. Preece and his crew at Healthy Smiles Dental are amazing! My son had a very bad dental experience when he was 4, which caused him to develop a dental anxiety. He wouldn't allow anyone to work on his teeth up until today. Dr. Preece and his staff did a wonderful job at explaining every step to him, and through it all, they made sure he was comfortable. We will definitely be coming back here, and I highly recommend you should check this place out!!

Dr. Preece is one of the most knowledgeable and thorough dentists we have known in our 35 years of adult dental care! He takes the necessary time to perform exams thoroughly, with great attention to detail. He carefully listened to our concerns and developed a tailored treatment plan for us. His assistants are also knowledgeable and friendly. First-class office with outstanding service!

If you want the best dentist in Alaska for your family, now this is the place to be. We are always pleased with the service rendered. The staffs are very polite and friendly. The facility is very clean and that means a lot to me. I really appreciated the fact that the doctor took his time to explain what procedures needed to be done and there’s no rush. My children love going to this dentist. Our whole experience overall was great and We are completely satisfied with our visit.

Dr.Preece provided an amazing treatment. He is the one of the best dentist I have ever met. Staffs are so nice and made me feel comfortable.

I have been going to Healthy Smiles Dental for a good many years. Dr Preece is a very capable and proficient dentist. His friendly office has all the latest equipment to help maintain oral health. He has done wonders for mine.

Great family dental group. Our family of four has been a loyal client for over 4 years. We always get just the right care, options for treatments, and never feel rushed or forced into getting stuff done. Though it isn't explicitly named a 'Pediatric' or 'Kids' dentistry, they are very kid friendly. Both of our kiddos enjoy being in the chair with Dr. Preece, our youngest just as soon as she could walk, just to get the feel for it.

They also do an excellent job of maximizing health/dental insurance coverage through experience and scheduling. And most importantly (to me) never has a hygienist, or Dr. Preece himself, butchered my gums while flossing me at Healthy Smiles Dental! And I thank you for that!

I love this place. My wife and I moved to Alaska 3 years ago leaving my family dentist behind that I had know since I was a teenager. Having moved up here we tried many different well known and referred dentists in Anchorage and all have fallen way short of our expectations and overall trust in their practices. Many of them have tried to upsell us on cavities and rootcanals we did not need. Thank God I had a chance to refer back to my old dentist before proceding through with their work.
Those awful trial error all stopped when we found Heathy Smiles Dental with Dr. Preece. His office is warm and welcoming. His staff is kind and pleasent and goes above and beyond their duties to take care of their patients. They even watched and played with my 3 year old daughter and 1 year old son while my wife was being seen.
Dr. Preece is kind and gentle while working in your mouth. He is thorough in his work and explains what he is doing and seeing while working. You can tell he is passionate about his profession and if thats not enough. They have chairs that meassage you while you're being worked on to help people like me with bad backs.
I would highly recommend coming in and checking out Healthy Smiles Dental. I am not an easy person to please by any means, but the staff and Dr. PREECE have gained my trust, respect and business for as long as I am in need of Dental work and in Anchorage.... and I love candy so I expect to see them quite often. Lol

I am new to the area and was looking for a family dentist for my husband and I. I just had my first visit with Dr. Preece and I couldn't be more pleased. He made me feel very comfortable and explained everything to me as he was examining my teeth. His dental examination was extremely thorough. His gentle manner is also very calming. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Preece to anyone looking for a thorough and knowledgeable dentist. Best of the best.

Great office with extremely friendly staff. They take the time to get to know their patients and what is important to them, and are very thorough with examinations and care. Dr. Preece and his staff were super thorough, pleasant, and professional; I would recommend this practice to anyone. Once inside the doors the practice is modern looking and well equipped. Scheduling was easy, the front office staff was polite and I was seen right on time. The dental assistant was a ball of sunshine and knew her job well. I happened upon Healthy Smiles Dental after needing an extraction after a very painful weekend. I always get nervous about any dental work, but it had to be done. The office was nice and not over the top like some other places in town. Erica at the front desk was very nice and tried to ease my nerves. The extraction was painless, and great care was taken to ensure the healing process would be as quick and smooth as possible.

I went to see Dr. Preece for my semi-annual dental check up. The receptionist greeted me right away and handled the insurance with ease. The hygienist did an amazing job cleaning my teeth; gentle and thorough. Dr. Preece put me at ease right away with his kind words and easy manner. He gave me a clean bill of teeth health, gave me some options for my retainer and sent me on my way with a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. I am grateful to have found such a great dentist practice!
