Nugget Restaurant

I think this is the best restaurant in town and it's at the airport. We eat here a lot, and it's always awesome.

Get the pie! This restaurant is tucked into the corner of Sitka's airport. It has a diner atmosphere and is perfect for passing the time while waiting for your flight. Prices are reasonable and staff was friendly and quick Get the pie!!! It was awesome! I got the blackberry, rhubarb, and strawberry pie with ice cream. It was delicious and was a delicious way to close out my trip to Sitka.

Edit: went here for breakfast and their breakfast's are pretty spot on as well. It was a little crowded on Sunday morning but we were still able to get a table in a reasonable time (we had a large party) and get food ordered. The food was delicious! Hash browns were crispy, toast was perfect, and coffee was hot! You can't beat it! Well...you can if you get the pie...

Scored two breakfast burritos this time around. I’ve also had the eggs Benedict and been really pleased. I just appreciate how low key the restaurant is and how accommodating the staff can be. Plus, the wide landscape views from the windows here on the tarmac are unparalleled compared to standard breakfast joints!

Excellent place to grab a bite before you hop on a plane! Incredibly friendly service and great views out the big windows. I didn't get any pie but I hear it's legendary!

The Nugget hasn't changed much in the last 40 or so years and thats just the way I like it. Food was reasonably priced and the portions were good. Its one of the best places in town for a classic style breakfast. They are also famous for their pies. The pies all look homemade; unfortunately i did not sample one.

I had eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, others had waffles and eggs Benedict. Fantastic all around. I do with they incorporated some crab Benedict or smoked salmon Benedict, but overall it was pleasant.

Always make it a point to go to the Nugget and get yourself an omelet or a chicken steak, and don't forget your piece of pie.

Good home style food. Not to expensive.

Surprised, because the food vastly exceeded my expectations. As yummy as the patty melt was, I think Ill roll the dice and try one of the rockfish (or other seafood options) next time we come.

And the staff was Entirely on point despite being hit with a sudden influx of customers due to AA offering us comped meals due to our flight being cancelled for mechanical issues. Nice job guys! Thanks.

The Nugget is one of our favorite places to eat in town. I agree that they have great food, reasonable prices, and a great view of the planes coming and going. I love their food. The rock fish is awesome. One of my regular meals is the low-cal. The chicken is always tender and the salad is fresh. Love this place.

I've eaten here twice and it was good both times. Classic diner food, located conveniently inside the airport. It's a smaller spot (fitting for the small airport) but good eats and decent wait staff. The only thing I've eaten that wasn't great was the pie (banana cream) which was disappointing.

the waitress was very quick and professional the food was good and the drinks were better.double bloody mary was super super good came with pickled asparagus my favorite yummy.chicken fried steak was good and portions were fair

While in Sitka recently we had breakfast every morning at the Nugget. I had the eggs benedict and it was perfect! Also, the egg mac is a second favorite. Everyone was happy with their meals, all of them! And the service was super friendly. Thank You

Best breakfast in Sitka and it's served all day! Burgers and sandwiches are pretty good as well!

First time in Sitka and was delayed leaving. This is definitely the place to hang out and have a meal or drinks while waiting for your flight.
Don't forget to get a piece of pie 🥧 from their case, just as you walk in.
The staff is on top of everything, talking with the owner, for the past 9 years three cooks have remained at the Nugget.
They are definitely doing it right.

New ownership has transformed this place. What an amazing turnaround!
I now consider this to be the best airport restaurant in the world.
The legendary pies are still going strong and they've treated me amazingly well in three trips up there this year.

What a horrible bartender. She threw everyone out of the restaurant with 5 minutes to go in the biggest Seahawks game of the year and locked the door with an entire plane load of people wanting to get in because she wanted to go home instead of waiting 6 more minutes and making more money. She wouldn't even let my mother stay and watch the end of the game while she closed up.

Unbelievable. I've never seen anything like it. She must be a former or future government bureaucrat.

The Nugget has reopened and is now offering delivery! You can order from the Menufy app. It's very convenient. Two of our favorites are the Rock Fish Wrap and the Reuben. You can't go wrong with the prime rib on Friday nights. If you like blue cheese dressing, they make it in-house and it's delicious. Don't forget to get some pie!

Wonderful restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, dinner and pie. I had the biscuits and Gravy and they were really good. I would suggest adding sausage to the biscuits and gravy. Service was great but the place was packed so it can be a minute to find seats.
