Cascade Creek Lodge

My experience at Cascade Creek Lodge and the Fishing Charter was fantastic! This trip was my first time to Alaska and first time fishing. The whole trip was so easy...we were picked up at the airport and driven directly to the lodge. the lodge has a nice gathering area where we enjoyed the cocktails we had brought. In the morning, our chef, Kristy treated us to a full, delicious breakfast and then we were driven down to the boat. Tyler, our boat captain and his crew took care of us the moment we stepped on the boat. Both he and his first mate were very patient teaching me how to cast and untangling my line (remember this was my first fishing, ever) and I caught a bunch of fish! Every evening we had a great dinner awaiting us and after some time with friends we went to bed to start the day all over again. Finally, they had our fish processed and packed (ready for airplane). So easy and fun!!! Would definitely do again!!

You know, I just cannot say enough about how lovely this oceanside accommodation is. This is family owned and operated and every single person I’ve come in contact with during my stays has been warm and friendly, always smiling and generous in so many ways.

Don't hesitate, book it. My first trip fishing in Alaska and our group picked Cascade Creek...it was ooh la la. From the pickup at the airport upon arrival to drop off heading home, everything was taken care of. Great boats, lodge, location, food, and crew! Very clean which is important. The crew thinks of everything before you do. Fishing was maxed out to our limits each day. I will be back, for sure! Thank you Cascade Creek!

This is our second time here and place is amazing. Kristi is an amazing host, so accommodating and kind to us during our stay. She is also an amazing cook! We also really enjoy fishing with Tyler. Always down for anything and ready to make a memorable trip for us. Best time fishing in Alaska. The rooms and views are spectacular. We’ll definitely be back.

Three of us went to Alaska for four nights and three full days of fishing. It was the most amazing experience! The accommodations at the Cascade Creek Lodge were excellent with breakfast and dinner cooked by Kristi, all made from scratch. Sooo good!. Fishing with Captain Tyler was the best. Not only was he very patient with us, he knew the places to go to catch fish! We had such an amazing time and caught more fish that i ever imagined. From the moment we got to Sitka to our flight back home, the Cascade Lodge took excellent care of us. We are going back next July with a boat of six! Thanks Kristi and Captain Tyler!

I can’t recommend Cascade Creek Lodge enough if you’re looking for an Alaskan fishing lodge. It’s family run and they do an excellent job. The lodge is right on the water in Sitka with stunning views of the sound. Kristi (the chef) cooks amazing breakfasts before fishing and dinners when you’re tired and hungry. The captains are all top notch and we’ve always come home with tons of fish and have a great time out on the water. They know how to put you on the fish. I’ve been to a few fishing lodges in Alaska but once we found Cascade Creek we won’t go anywhere else.

The people are all very nice and take pride in their jobs. We were on two different boats and both had a great captain and first mate. You are on a charter but they make you feel like you are fishing with your buddies. Everything is very clean and well kept. Kristi is a fantastic chef and does the front desk so you will enjoy her meals and smile. Out on the water they made sandwiches to order that some of the guys were taking pictures of because they were definitely five stars, and the different home made brownies etc were a perfect lunch dessert. We got our limits for the trip and had a great time doing it.

Trip of a lifetime. Best salmon fishing I have ever experienced. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great meals including on the water. Amazing views. We saw killer whales and humpback whales. I will be back soon.

5 star for sure…we HIGHLY recommend Cascade Creek Lodge! Beautiful lodge with an incredible view, Amazing food, Excellent service, and amazing fishing! A huge shout out to Kristi an amazing cook and host, Tyler & Jack our captains, all the deckhands, and the lodging staff for an incredible trip for our family! We had the best time in Sitka thanks to the Kraft family and staff!!!

Several of my friends and I had a wonderful time at Cascade creek lodge. The stay was good, great food, captains put us on fish each day. Apparently on or two others in my group were not happy with the results, and have even written a review with the false claim that we received old fish that wasn’t the fish we caught. I was on that same trip and felt that the box I brought home exactly matched the fish we caught. It was packaged well, no freezer burn, and the taste was excellent. I was thoroughly satisfied and my other friends were also very happy with the fish.

Our 4 night trip with 3 fishing days was seamless. Kristy has set up a total package of lodging, meals, fishing, and shipping your catch! Our captain Nathan has local beta, and an amazing, modern boat.
All the staff were helpful and patient with veteran and "greenhorn" guests!

My son and I stayed and fished with the folks at Cascade Creek Lodge 6/26-6/30/23 (4 nights 3 days fishing). Let me start out by saying that there is no need to look any further if you want a great fishing and lodging experience. The Krafts have this down to a science and you can be assured of having very well organized procedures for getting around town (and airport & back), getting your raingear and boat assignment, eating wonderful meals at stated times, having a boat captain that knows his trade and how to put you on fish. We could not have hoped for a better time and look forward to planning our next stay at Cascade Creek Lodge.

Had an amazing fishing trip with my family here at Cascade. Great staff, plenty of fish, lots of good times. My son and niece at 10 and 8 had the time of their lives even fishing full days. My only word of advice is to make sure you have a plan if you’re susceptible to seasickness because although Cascade’s guides can help by navigating to calmer waters, it might limit the fishing opportunities if your party can’t handle the open sea.

I had so much fun on a Father/Son fishing trip. The guides and deck hands were incredible (you won't have to lift a finger if you don't want to). The food catering was delicious & the lodge is located in one of the most beautiful places imaginable!

Beautiful setting! Went fishing with Cascade Creek Lodge and had a wonderful time. Family owned and operated-they really take care of their customers-from the time of arrival at the Sitka airport, driving us around town, wonderful fishing, excellent meals and enjoyable conversation with the owners and other fishermen. Beautiful setting, right on the water-loved sitting outside on our deck enjoying the water and view. The meals were wonderful-Kristi does a fantastic job and you won't leave hungry! Our fishing guide and boat Captain Tyler and deck hand John, did an excellent job for us-had a great time fishing. We would definitely recommend fishing and staying with Cascade Creek Lodge!

My dad and I had an amazing 5 days fishing, dining and staying with these folks. The lodge sits on the ocean with breathtaking views from each room. The rooms,are comfortable, spacious and very accommodating. Breakfast and dinner at the lodge daily was very good. Hats off the chef Kristy!!! She didn't let anyone go hungry. Fishing was top notch with guides Tyler and Nathan and deckhands John and Dillon. These guys are experts and will put you on fish every day. They really made this trip special for my dad and I. We limited out 2 of the 4 days fishing and only fell a few fish shirt of our limit the other 2 days. This was a once in a lifetime experience for us and I can highly recommend Cascade Creek Outfitters!!!! Maybe one day we'll be back.

Our first vacation in 14 months, it was superb. Rich and Caryn and all their staff are outstanding. The meals are gourmet. The boat captains and crew are outstanding and helpful at every "bite". The rooms are spotless and have amazing views. And, we caught a lot of fish despite rough weather conditions!! We will always remember this epic return to a bit of "normal"! We highly recommend this beautiful lodge owned and run by beautiful people. Thank you all so very much!

We had a wonderful time at Cascade Creek Lodge! A perfect location, excellent food and excellent fishing! I would highly recommend this lodge, in fact it was my third time there. The boats and crew really know how to find the fish!

My wife and I had a great experience at Cascade Creek Inn with Richard and Caryn in late summer 2019. Three days of great fishing. Fine food, and a very friendly family atmosphere. Beautiful view from the rooms over the water. Richard volunteered to be "deck hand" on the first day of fishing (his son being the captain) and really helped my wife get comfortable with the fishing and got her used to hauling in the silvers. It was a memorable visit. We both loved the place!

Three of us went to Cascade Creek to fish for three days and had a great time. I’ve been to a number of places in Alaska and never caught such a variety of fish. After we caught our Kings and Halibut each day we’d go after various rock fish, ling cod, sable fish and Atlantic cod with good success. Everyone, and I mean everyone associated with the lodge were kind thoughtful and fun people to be around. The view from the rooms was beautiful. I don’t give out 5 stars easily but it’s easy to do for these folks.
