Dr. Jensen is the best dentist in Anchorage. His “chair-side manner” reveals his high EQ and technical proficiency. He and his staff genuinely care about their patients. He’ll tell you what needs to be done on your teeth, what can wait, and he’ll take the time to explain why.

This is my second review ever, so I don’t say the following lightly. Adam Jensen is the BEST dentist in Anchorage. I would give him 10 stars if I could. His entire staff is so sweet, warm, and personable. I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much and had such a nice time at my dentists office. I actually look forward to going back for my appointments.

He is also very thorough and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his patients and their teeth. When I say thorough, I mean they did things in the comprehensive exam that I have never had done in my lifetime of seeing dentists. After the numerous x-rays, he sat down with me, showed me every x-ray and explained in detail where my problem areas were. Then went over what the treatment plan would be to correct those problem areas. He was very nice and professional about giving me advice on how to take care of my teeth. And throughout the entire time, I never felt like it was being judged, quite the opposite in fact.

It was the small things that made a difference for me. For example, asking to get put on the cancellation list and actually having one of his sweet receptionists reach out and ask if you’re available when someone does cancel their appointment.

Dr. Adam and his team are the best! My front tooth filling fell out and they were able to squeeze me into their schedule. Also, Dr. Adam probably has the lightest hands of all the dentists in Alaska. No pain was felt throughout the process. The dental assistant was very knowledgeable and friendly, and the front desk ladies were amazing! I would recommend them to anyone, especially to those who have fear/anxiety when going to the dentist.

After having several negative experiences with a couple of dentists in town, I decided to give Chugach Dental a try based on their gleaming reviews. I have to say that the staff at the office and Dr. Jensen more than exceeded my expectations. They took the time to hear my concerns, and did all they could to ensure my visit resulted in a positive experience. Had to get a crown and it was the most painless one I’ve ever had, and I have a few so I definitely have something to compare their service against. They even offered me a warm scented towel at the end of the procedure which no other dentist has ever done before. If you experience anxiety when going to the dentist, I wholeheartedly recommend Chugach Dental.

After years of neglecting my teeth due to poor mental health, Dr. Jensen and his team have been nothing short of amazing every time I've come in. I cannot emphasize enough how much I recommend him and his team to anyone who has had negative dental experiences, is anxious about the dentist, or is nervous about poor dental health. When no other dentist called me back for an appointment, Dr. Jensen's team called me just hours after putting in a request for an appointment online!

I always feel like they have my best interest at heart and are genuinely happy to improve my wellbeing. They are very clear and transparent about costs and clearly know their stuff when it comes to insurance and how to get the best bang for your buck out of your benefits.

Everyone has been kind, approachable and very encouraging which makes getting excited about my dental health much easier! I don't plan to go anywhere else, truly the best medical care I've had in years.

Dr. Jensen and his team are caring and professional. I’ve dealt with a lot of dental trauma and I no longer experience anxiety for appointments because of how great this team is!

Dr. Jensen and his team are great. They tell you what they are going to do before they work on your teeth and give you an estimate. Dr. J gives you all the options. He doesn't push work you don't need and you don't feel rushed out of the chair. Hes only the 2nd dentist I've come across in the last 30 yrs that I can get my husband to go. Thats saying something!!

Dr. Jensen and his team are great. Friendly and professional. Dr. Jensen does a great job of explaining costs and options and his dental work is excellent. I'm very glad to have found this provider upon relocating to Anchorage a couple years ago.

Everyone was so friendly and kind! 10/10 recommend. From the check-in, to the dental assistant, the dentist, the hygienist, and the check-out. They take their time at doing the full comprehensive exam followed by a thorough cleaning. I'll be back in 6 months!

My whole family went to see Dr. Jensen recently for the first time and had such a wonderful experience. Dr. Jensen thoroughly explains everything to his patients and takes the time to answer any questions you may have. His office is clean and inviting. We loved Lena his dental assistant as well. Even my nineteen month old had a pleasant experience. We are so glad we found Chugach Dental and will definitely be going back from now on.

Great customer service and cleanliness..Dr. Adam had so much knowledge on what to do and how to do it…unlike other visits I’ve had they all told me that there was no way to save my teeth but with Dr. Adam he actually took the time to try and save my teeth…with that gave me hope to having a great smile again…thank you so much for the experience I would recommend chugach dental to all

Excellent care and service. Everyone has been friendly and kind! My concerns were heard and alleviated. Dr. Jensen was caring and gentle and made the experience as good as possible. I highly recommend! I’ll definitely be returning to have additional work done when needed.

So far so good. 2 visits in, and I have no desire to go anywhere else. Adam the dentist seems to do a great job, and he's down to earth. Lena is calming. The Admins worked with me to send in the maximum claim to insurance. Everyone is nice. The place is clean. They use a couple tricks during the procedures to help calm you down, which are simple yet effective, and I'm shocked I haven't seem them used before. I almost look forward to going to the dentist now, just cause of the friendly staff there. Keep it up :)

I was in urgent need of a dental repair unfortunately it was Friday night. I went online reached out to a handful of dental offices. Sunday afternoon Dr. Jensen called me and said his office could see me Monday at 9am. I walked out with my chipped front tooth looking good as new. Truly the best experience I have had in a dental office in many years. Absolute Rock Stars! I now have a dental team for preventive care. Thank you!

Dr. Adam is great! He takes the time to explain what is happening and what my different options are. I have had good experiences with all the hygienists and front desk staff. I would recommend going here.

I had a great experience Chugach Dental! The staff are so very patient and helpful; I get very anxious when going to the dentist, so having them check in with me throughout the whole process was really eye-opening. On my very first visit to the office, the dentist corrected my Invisalign retainer and followed up later that week to see how the retainer + my gums were holding up.

Let’s be honest. I’ve had some really poor dental experiences in my past that kept me away from the dentist. For the last year I’ve been coming to see Dr. Jensen and he’s completely changed my mind about dentistry. I’m not talking about cleanings… no, I’m taking about fillings, crowns, and the stuff we all try to avoid. The kind of thing that use to make my skin crawl and get me super anxious.
The office is modern, clean, and the entire staff is there to make your experience a great one. It’s actually RELAXING to be there.
Here’s my advice, if you’ve had some bad dental experiences in the past, or if you don’t enjoy going to the dentist, give Dr. Jensen and his team a chance to earn your business.
They’re a bunch of really awesome people that love what they do, love alaska, and love their clients. It’s like going to hang out with a bunch of friends while keeping your teeth healthy. If you don’t have that experience where you’re at now, give Chugach dental a call.

Our dentist of many years retired awhile back and left us floating around for several years trying to find our next dental home. Our search is over! Dr. Adam Jensen and his staff are just the genuine best. This is a patient-centered practice. They have time for us during our appointments; the dental care is honestly excellent and the follow-ups are prompt and really nice. There are no high pressure sales or pushy tactics, just quality dental services. We heartily recommend Chugach Dental and we're so happy to have found them.
