Dr. Paape and his staff do amazing work. His cosmetic dentistry is extraordinary, and his genuine concern for his patients is very apparent. I have a special needs child and the staff and Dr Paape are all so kind and interact with her in such a way that she has no qualms about going to see the Dentist. I wouldn’t even consider taking her anywhere else. I can’t say enough good things about the top-notch, quality dental care that my entire family receives from Northstar Dental.

The hygienist Lori did an awesome job making my timid 3 year old daughter feel comfortable for her cleaning.

Everyone here is kind, so helpful and gentle. Usually, I’m nervous about dentists/doctors in general but the environment/energy here is calming and soothing. Dr. Paape is very efficient and so helpful especially regarding Medicaid. I’m really glad I found this place and I would recommend it to anyone.

I saw Dr. Paape yesterday, for the first time, and for a focused visit for a problem. I had seen my previous dentist about this three times and felt dismissed. Dr. Paape listened, and solved my problem, in the one visit. He said, " If this doesn't solve it, we'll work together until it is" THAT is what I want in a dentist.
I will be getting my dental care here from now on.

I got an appointment the same week. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They listened to my needs and preferences. I let them know I was looking for a conservative dentist and I trust that Dr Paape gave me honest feedback about my teeth. They were non-judgmental and I felt no pressure. I will be going back in 6 months for sure.

First visit, was recommended by my son-in-law, and I trust him. The visit was because a crown fell off of a questionable tooth which I thought needed removed. The service was friendly and professional. This was the easiest extraction I can remember. I’m very satisfied.

Dr. Paape was awesome and professional. He squeezed me in last minute when my tooth had an issue come up. The office and the staff were clean and made me feel safe during this pandemic. He’s been taking care of my family’s dental needs for many years now and does excellent work. Plus side, he’s great with kids.

They talk to you and make sure you're not in any pain whatsoever,
They let you know ahead what they are doing and constantly remind you.
I grew up not liking dentists because of bad experience but yet i just scheduled myself another appointment because of good people very fast and EFFICIENT!!
THEY WILL NOT LET YOU DOWN!!

Dr. Paape does a fabulous job trying to find the cause of your pain. He is very patient and considerate. I am always amazed at the thoroughness of his exams.

If you ever need a dentist, please consider Dr. PAAPE. Since moving to Anchorage, I have been a patient of his for 6 years! You will love and appreciate his work!

Dr. Paape is an excellent dentist! I have been going to Northstar Dental for 7 years now; the entire staff is always so friendly and professional. They go out of their way to ensure you are happy with your smile by the end of your visit. 5 stars is simply not enough for this office.
