This is the office to get our annual County Parking Passes to avoid paying $5 a daily at any of the 18 Josephine County Parks. If you purchase your pass before December 31st they give you a discount 🎉 As of 12/2022 Fees: Disabled Veterans one free affixed pass.
Handicap affixed pass $15

The office is easy to find ample parking handicap friendly in all means. Till the end of the year 2022 they are NOT closing at lunch 12:00 to 1:00 So folks may obtain their parking passes. The staff is warm and friendly always willing to help with each parking pass you also get a Park location map and amenities flyer for all the parks which can be helpful especially if you enjoy fishing 🎣 I want to launch your boat.

My family and I have been camping in Josephine County Parks for 30 years and have enjoyed every experience. We have an annual camp out at Indian Mary park every year. Boating and fishing at Lake Selmac is beautiful in the late afternoon. I highly recommend visiting all of the County Parks.

There is a recent proposal to tear Chinook Park’s lawn out and remove many trees to add a new boat ramp and a two lane access road. This park is very small and used by rafters, families and walkers from all over the neighborhood and many drive to the park to walk their dogs and picnic. It is a beautiful little park and making it a PARKING LOT is criminal and thoughtless.

My teenage son went to one of the local county parks to swim with his friends while my husband and I were at work. This was the very first time he drove himself there. He was not aware he had to pay a day use fee, as he had on all previous occasions traveled with our family, and we have routinely bought an annual day use pass. My son received a parking citation for not displaying a day use pass. There was a fee of $30 for the citation to be dismissed, in addition to a requirement that he also purchase t an annual day use pass for an additional $30.
My son is an honest kid and this was an honest mistake.
I instructed him to go to the local JoCo Parks office to explain himself. My son reports the fees remained and if he did not pay within 10 days the fee would increase to $265 and be referred to the Josephine County Circuit Court.
I am all about my son learning valuable life lessons, but these fees are absolutely ludicrous and hefty for a normally $5 day parking pass.

have witnessed and experienced several instances of rangers sneaking tickets on people’s dash instead of telling them “hey! There’s a day fee if you’d like to attempt to pay it at least?”
And if not, then continue to do your job and issue the ticket.
Not profit of off people who don’t deserve it in the grimiest way possible.

Watch out for hidden fees. They are the only parks in the nation that charge you to use your tow vehicle. Skip this county and move on or cough those extra $$$$$
