El Charro Viejo

Seriously, it was the best molcajete meal I have ever had. It was delicious! The carne asada and pollo asado were nice and thicker than most places. We shared this dish. There is a beautiful layer of fried cheese at the bottom. This meal was great with margaritas.

I hardly give all Fives the best Mexican food we have eaten in a long time. The correct amount of spice and heat in the food. The Salsa and chips were great: We will return on our next visit

Atmosphere, service and food all outstanding! Our server Anna, was the best. Attentive and fun. Our burritos were amazing. Go there and you will enjoy.

So much meat in every entree. I had one taco. It was like 2 tacos. I've never seen such thick taquitos. My husband had to take 2 to go. They were so sincere when they sang happy bday to me and brought a delicious flan. Such humble friendly people.

Fantastic spot for authentic flavor. The Carne Asada with Chili Relleno is a hit! Definitely check it out, be sure to grab a margarita too! Anytime we have events in the area this will be our spot.

We love this restaurant. The molé is my favorite in the valley. Hands down. We don't eat pork and they have options, including beans, with no pork or lard.

I have been three times now. Lots of delicious food with great prices. A lot on the menu to choose from. Great service. My new favorite in GP.

I love this place. Drive from Ashland to grants pass just for lunch. Services is always the best. And know matter what you order it always so good. Like it was made with love.

My Tortilla soup was tasty and so satisfying, one of the best I've tasted. Our Server was friendly and efficient. I love their decorations which helps me feel like I have traveled to exotic Mexico. El Charro Viejo never disappoints.

Miriam, our server, was really great. Besides giving us great service along with her Busser (and older gentlemen), she was very pleasant to talk to, and the food was very good, especially when there was hardly any choice around. Hechale ganas Miriam!

Best Mexican restaurant in southern Oregon. I drive to GP from Medford just to get me this baby. Delicious and they ALWAYS taste the same, delicious.
