First meal we had after the big blizzard! The vibes and food were amazing!! Can't wait to come here again!

Stopped here for a quick coffee, but once I walked through the doors the atmosphere pulled me in. Such a cute and comfy little Cafe. My latte was tasty, and this was probably one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I will definatly plan to come here again.

Quaint, cozy, ambient. Generous portions of food, enough to satisfy the biggest of hungers. Top it off with a delicious bloody or mimoso for the perfect brunch!

I stopped by this corner cafe for lunch and ordered the Tosa fried chicken sandwich. It is a thin cut of chicken, battered and fried, served on a good bun. The included aioli sauce added a little more flavor on top of the carb goodness. Delish!

Highlands Cafe is a great, quaint cafe on Vliet street near Wauwatosa. They have a coffee shop where you can grab a cup of coffee and baked goods as well a cafe with delicious food. We stopped by and grabbed breakfast and the food was delicious. We had the eggs Benedict and the breakfast Sammie and both were phenomenal. I’d highly recommend checking it out. Enjoy local!

A wonderful Cafe in Tosa's Washington Highlands. West Coast Breakfast Sammy looks great, pleases the palate, and is a meal unto itself. The Harissa potatoes subtly conjure up a flavor of North Africa. Coffee is delicious. And the service is fantastic and friendly.

This place is a treat with a warm welcoming atmosphere, a waitstaff that is delightful, and food that is delicious and plentiful. My husband and I split the corned beef hash breakfast which comes with large hunks of potatoes, a generous helping a shredded corned beef and caramelized onions that melt in your mouth. Topped with two eggs perfectly cooked and a side of toast ( we chose the rye which tasted like bakery quality) this breakfast was large enough that we brought some home.
The latte and tea that we had topped off a great way to start the morning. Others around us were enjoying Bloody Marys which also looked terrific.
We agreed that the menu as a whole had us talking about returning the next time we were in town. From eggs of any variety you can imagine, to French toast to biscuits and gravy to avocado toast to … There are a lot of great options.

Really cute spot for breakfast/lunch with excellent food. Only downside is the lack of parking on a busy day, but even then it's just a stroll up the street by the fancy houses to the north. Staff was lovely.

Fresh ingredients, friendly staff. Breakfast cocktails and coffee are delicious! Don’t miss the West Coast breakfast sandwich, or help yourself to the BEST café eggs Benedict you can find in the area!

Great hidden gem of brunch/ lunch spot. I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich was perfect with large chunks of chicken and a great dressing. The onion rings were fried to perfection. The only thing was the chips could use a little more salt but were the perfect texture. The Thai Chicken Salad was so good and a surprise favorite of our table. I will for sure be coming back to check out some other menu items.

Wonderful cafe. Very attentive wait staff and great food. I had the Gyro omelet and I really enjoyed it. Definitely a new favorite for me.

I have been wanting to try out Highland Cafe for awhile now, and today I finally decided to stop in with my daughter after her doctors appointment. I am so glad we stopped in. The food that we ordered was amazing and I was very pleased with the service that we received here at Highland Cafe located on the corner of 60th and Vliet street in Milwaukee, Wi. My daughter and I both decided to try their strawberry crepes and their hazelnut latte. We also ordered a side of sausage patties to share. I think that I have now found our new go to cafe. We will most definitely be back. We look forward to trying other items on their menu as well. I would highly recommend checking this cafe out. I promise you won’t be disappointed!

Good brunch food, great friendly servers and good portions. We love coming here on the weekend!

I've been coming here for years and never left a formal review - so 6 years later I'm leaving an update. ☺ If you need a GREAT place for brunch or lunch - this is it. It's homey, welcoming and the food is delicious. I've had the same waitress (Melissa) for years and I always feel like I'm coming in to visit friends while I'm here. Definitely give it a try!!!

This place is fabulous. We have been looking for "our" breakfast place for the 2 years we've lived here.. to find it blocks away was just a bonus! The kids breakfasts were well sized (not too big, not too small) everything was well priced, the wait was minimal, and the servers and staff were all helpful!! Such a hard thing to find, staff can be friendly, efficient or helpful.... to find a staff that is all three is rare. We will return again and again!! Oh, the food is top notch! I had the Benedict, perfect sauce. My husband had the classic breakfast and the bacon was perfectly rendered so it was crispy NOT crunchy. The potatoes are amazing, they give you a choice between shredded and chopped and both were fabulous and tasted fresh. My sister in law got the hash and I wish I had! Definitely worth the visit! Small aside, it's loud. It's a small place full of happy breakfast goers and it can get loud... but that was THE ONLY downside I could find with the place! We loved it. Can't wait to return and try everything else!

The first visit didn't disappoint. The reviews are spot on. Great neighboorhood cafe. Breakfast is very good, friendly service and prices decent. I had a Chai tea latte, red velvet French toast that came with a choice of eggs and meat. The French toast isn't sweet at all, very moist and light. We shared an order of hashbrowns that were amazing, unlike any others, very flavorful and crispy. My husband had pulled ham Benedict that came with a greens salad, which he loved. We will be back when we're in Wauwatosa again!

Great breakfast. They go slammed when we arrived and they still gave great service!!
