Kinley's Restaurant & Bar

We tried Kinley's after seeing them in the Greatest Hits Cookbook Alaska. We have frequented all the highest rated establishments in Anchorage and these guys are at the top along with Crows Nest, Altura, Club Paris and Kincaid Grill. We ordered the Halibut Cheeks and Seared Scallops, both were delicious and well presented. The service was top notch as they use multiple servers to take your order, bring drinks, food and clear the table. Surprisingly, this was the least expensive meal of all the high end restaurants, whereas Marx Brothers was the most expensive and by far the worst..Applebee's can make a better steak.

Went out for a Tuesday evening bite and was blown away by the service provided by Kristi. We got raw oysters and the fried Brie for apps, better than I could have imagined. For entrees I got the filet mignon and my fiancée got the mushroom and chèvre ravioli, so much flavor. Perfectly cooked rare steak, I’m impressed.
Kristi was so kind, gave us suggestions when we were having trouble, and was quick and responsive. I would definitely request her as our server in the future.

Great meal, flavors were all spot on. The hummus with the fried pita was very well done. The French onion soup was solid, both the cheeks and almond encrusted halibut were on point. The red sauce really is what took the almond encrusted to the next level. Desert was the truffle cake. Darn good. Could use a little more of the raspberry sauce but really hit the spot with a little coffee.

This place is fantastic! I'm not sure how I've never been here before, but I definitely will be back plenty more. The atmosphere is so cozy and comfortable, while the staff is attentive and great to talk with. Kristi our server had the best recommendations when it came to food and drinks, and the gentleman who brought our our drinks and wine was absolutely hilarious. After having a disappointing experience at a well known, very expensive location the night before, I was so pleased to have gone here. Definitely start the night with some bacon wrapped dates, so yummy. The halibut cheeks were amazing, and so filling. It was hard to stop eating, although I really wanted to save room for dessert. Everyone else at the table got a filet and they were each perfect, and not a bite was left on their plates. Dessert was fantastic, the mocha pecan torte, and the apple caramel cheesecake really ended the night on a great note. I can't wait to come back, and I definitely want one of their hoodies!

Kinley’s was recommended to me and it did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the calamari steak appetizer. The halibut cheeks were great and the scallop special was fantastic. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I like how creative the menu is at kinley's. And the bartenders make good cocktails. The staff is great. I've always had excellent service when going to this restaurant. I've been there with friends, with kids but not very often with kids. I have also headed there for an early dinner before heading home after work. I enjoy the atmosphere. I love their calamari. The halibut cheeks and risotto were delicious!! I also enjoyed the duck! I've never had their burgers but my friend's son got it and he ate the whole burger!! He said it was great! We finished dinner with the pecan torte!! OMG! It was so good. I love how beautiful it was on the plate. Food presentation is excellent at kinley's. If you like that kind of thing. I do. I love how food is displayed. Also I like their French onion soup. I forgot to take a picture of the French onion soup and the calamari.

The tables had all been reserved, but the bar was open. I could see the servers were very busy, constantly moving, but always maintaining calm easiness. Very pleasant, appropriately attentive, food and drinks came out at exactly the right time. Best meal I’ve had in a very long time. Our server at the bar was Taylor (#1), who did truly an amazing job during a very busy dinner hour. Food and drinks were absolutely delicious. (Cocktails, lamb with tzatziki, veggies, and pita, beef stroganoff, the mushroom bacon Swiss burger made from ground filet mignon, followed by the apple cheese cake with caramel, blueberries, and whipped cream) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just and overall awesome experience. We will definitely be returning. For dessert, we decided to get a single scoop of vanilla ice cream and lightly pour over the warm Cafe L'Orange dessert drink... AMAZING.

One of my favorite restaurants to go to For date night in Alaska. Foods always Great atmosphere always Excellent

The food here was really good. The rock cod seems to take on whatever flavor it's cooked with, so you can taste the coconut really well, the veggies with it were great too. The sauce for the pork wasn't overly powerful, it wasn't overly salty either, very good. Cheesecake for dessert was decedent. The wait staff was funny and we got along with them well. They hadn't heard of the drink I ordered but they said if I knew what was in it they'd make it, so they were able to make the drink I like. Thank you!

Service was amazing. The ravioli was not my favorite and they let me order something else (the falafel and creme brûlée were to die for). Decor inside and outside is outdated, but the food makes up for it. Make a reservation and enjoy.

I had bratwurst and mashed potatoes. Very good! We had creme brulee for dessert. It was almost too toasted on top. It had that toasted marshmallow, almost starting to burn taste to it.

Visited Alaska for the first time this month and glad we stopped by Kinley's for dinner. Well, we made a reservation and I see why after eating there. Fantastic fish- we had halibut and rockfish, great sides, prompt and friendly service, and a chef even stopped by our table to check in and I got a little lesson in halibut selection/prep which was awesome! This place makes you want to include another visit to Anchorage in your future for the sole (argh) purpose of dining here. Not to mention the price to value ratio is totally fair and actually amazing after hearing horror stories about Alaska pricing- beats the lower 48 all day long for this, as well as taste and quality.

This was a great dinner. Well worth the extra day of waiting after finding out it's basically by reservation only this time of year. If you wanted to share how to make our drinks (Cat's Pajamas and Gold Rush), I'd be very happy. The fried brie was insane. I don't understand why more restaurants don't have it. I could eat the fried brie from here every week and never get tired of it. The fried halibut and chips were very tasty. My duck breast was great, but I could make a meal out of a plate of those maza balls and chorizo meatballs. We were originally going to get creme brulee, but then a waiter walked through the dinning area with that truffle cake. We got the truffle cake and it was perfect. Rich chocolate with hard chocolate drizzled over the top and a raspberry sauce. I need more of it. I may need to come back to Anchorage just to eat here again.

This is a go to place to rest. Absolutely delicious food. This is how food did be prepared. I love the halibut cheeks and bacon wrapped dates.

Be sure to get a reservation which you can do online. The wait staff was very good at making recommendations and suggestions as well as accommodations for allergies.

This was the first time I have eaten at this Establishment. I've never been to what you would call Fancy restaurants before and this place by far blew my mind. The atmosphere is so warm everything I tried was absolutely Amazing I can't wait to go back.

Fantastic service! Food was to die for. Highly recommend! Nice atmosphere and creative menu, we all ordered something different and each entree was amazing.

Our Server Frank was knowledgeable and attentive.
He suggested Prosecco with raw oysters - delicious.
Followed up with Brie and Calamari.
