Fred Meyer

10/06/23- This store has a little of everything including souvenirs. If you can't find them you can count on one of the many and friendly employees.
I was impressed on how everyone I asked for assistance helped without making me feel I was putting them out.
I think the prices are reasonable for this area. I also found that they have Dunford donuts and Mexican bread. The bread here is cheaper than the bakery. If you need anything stop by here.

Shopping at any Fred Meyer is great because literally everything can be found under one roof. The midtown location in Anchorage is especially convenient though as it is right on the Seward Highway making it an easy place to turn in and pick up last minute supplies or get gas when headed down the Inlet or the Peninsula. They have a Starbucks, Pharmacy, Jewelers and Electronics, Furniture and Garden Departments (just to name a few). Their prepared foods and sandwiches are delicious and the folks who work there will walk you directly to an item, no matter where it is in the store, if you ask. Extremely friendly and helpful staff members!

This store is like nothing I've ever been to before. It's a good grocery store, a good home goods store, sells electronics, sells clothes... It's huge (srsly) and what I think Target wishes it was. All of the employees we encountered were super nice as well!

I shop this particular store when I'm in the mood for some Yummy Fruit. They have the best selection of pre-cut melons in Honey Dew, Cantaloupe, and watermelon. Always sweet and the cheapest price in town if you ask me. Also the receipt prints out a coupon for Hacienda.

Midtown Fred Meyers is always a great place to go especially if you're just not sure what you want. They have competitive deals and I love the fact that I can view their weekly and special ads online. I can't say that about some other retail stores. Good competitive prices. The employees are always friendly. The only critical critique I could give is that they don't have very many hand baskets for shopping. Always carts but I normally have to search for hand baskets.

Everything and anything you need will be at Fred's. A great place to shop in and out really fast. And I help remodel it thirty five years ago

Located at Northern Lights and Seward highway, this Fred Meyer supermarket has just about anything you need, including restrooms and a gas station. Across from the new Safeway Carr's grocery and pharmacy. Your choice, both have good produce and meat. Fred Meyer may be a bit less expensive. Busy midtown area

I just ordered my groceries online for the first time and the whole process was FANTASTIC. Fast and easy ordering from home, I arrived promptly at my time and called the number and they came right out and helped me load my groceries! The price was even less than expected! To purchase alcohol, you still have to go into the store so I went inside only for booze and was right back out. The best grocery store experience EVER.

Fred Meyer Northern Lights Pharmacy was very helpful to us yesterday! I needed a cgm diabetic supply that my regular pharmacy was out of stock on. This item expires in two weeks and allows us to see blood sugar readings in real time. The Pharmacy at Freddy’s called my pharmacy and got the prescription moved over and filled it! I drove in from Palmer to get it and they had it ready. Thank you for your diligence!

This store is where I'll buy all Meats!

The newly remodeled store is much nicer than it was before with a much better selection of organic and all natural foods and produce. There will probably be people begging for money and living out of campers at the edge of the parking lot by the gas stations but I've never had any problems. I lock my car doors and park as close to the building as I can.
