Holiday Inn Newport News - Hampton, an IHG Hotel

This place is beautiful. I can't speak too much regarding the rooms because I was only there for a security license class. The meeting room was "Morgue" cold but otherwise nice. The theater seating is awesome as a classroom setting. I'll give 5 stars on the banquet/convention area. They had a grand piano. Of course I had to give a little performance. Lol! Go to this Holiday in and see for yourself. We're thinking about having my birthday party or our wedding reception there. Nice

The rooms are new and beautiful. It is very clean and nicely designed.
The host at the front desk was very cheerful and pleasant to talk to with some tips on getting around. This is one hotel I would highly recommend and definitely come back to.

I was recently a guest at The Holiday Inn Newport News- Hampton (1/4/24-->1/6/24).  Upon my arrival, I was checked-in by front desk agent; Ed.  He was extremely kind & welcoming...a class act!  His professionalism set the tone for a superb stay.   Give this man a raise!  The hotel was both elegant and clean, & my bed was beyond comfortable.  I was checked-out by Tamika, who was also kind & efficient.  My visit to Virginia was for the purpose of attending an event at The Ferguson Center.  I'm pleased to have selected such an outstanding hotel.  Many thanks!  Whenever I'm in the area again, I'll definitely be back.

Close to downtown (less than a mile), if you're doing anything in the area, I recommend staying here! I wish I would have tried the bar and food downstairs. Seriously the cleanest room I've stayed in, and surprisingly quiet considering the freeway is walking distance, literally no noise from the road.

I stayed one night here after a long trip—and it was great. Very quiet and clean lobby and guest room. Spacious bathroom with counter space. The front desk hotel staff Ed and Cole were so kind and helpful. Not only did they help me get settled, they also saved my dinner by asking me to make sure I had plastic utensils from Uber Eats—which I did not and they provided! Their kindness was so, so appreciated after a full day of travel. I would absolutely stay here again.

In the morning i was able to check out with no issues, and Dee at the front desk was also very kind. Thanks, Holiday Inn!

If there was a sixth star I'd give it to them because of just how beautiful the hotel was. It was a shame that I only stayed there for a night but it was worth my time and money. If I had any cash I would have left it there as tip for just how great the room was.

This is the old Omni hotel! My dear friend just had the WIL Program Graduation Reception there. I was very impressed. The Conference rooms, Facilities are exceptional, modern and state of the art! The staff was professional, courteous and accommodating. I would recommend this venue, hotel to anyone interested in entertaining, hosting in the Hampton Roads area.

I attended a VASBA meeting in the conference center. Very clean and the food was very good. Server, Hudson was very nice.

I have no complaints about this place. They have a restaurant onsite, Burger Theory. The menu selections was simple however the food was really good and the service was awesome. The front desk guy was so nice, courteous and professional. I would definitely stay again if in the area.

BEAUTIFUL resort! The indoor pool was amazing. The rooms were super clean and great size. After helping my family deal with an unseen ADA violation at the hotel a mile away, this location was quick to the rescue. They were able to get my family checked in and in bed in such a timely manner. The staff had gone above and beyond and was such a blessing.

This is one of the places I host trivia every week. We stayed here one night after a game and the room was very nice. Burger Theory is nice, trivia night gets busy.

It's really chill hotel, No one bothers you if you don't bother them

Nice clean room, Lobby and hallways have fresh smell. Staff super nice! Great restaurant attached to hotel. Beautiful clean, large pool area. Little outside area to sit.

Great hotel. Clean rooms. Clean pool (other than the spiders floating in the pool). The on site restaurant is pretty good, and if you're staying at the hotel, your kids eat free.

I stay here every Month for business. Front desk has always been accommodating since I usually get in town very late, room is a room, has always been clean and ready to go once I get there.

Great customer service. The manager checked us in on 2/9/23, around 3pm. She was awesome. Great personality, very friendly and very professional. I will share my wonderful experience with everyone I know.

Conveniently placed, very nice rooms and wonderful staff. I stayed here for 2 weeks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I stayed in 2 different rooms because I had to extend my stay. Both rooms were very nice and very clean. Linens were crisp, thick and snow white. Toiletries were very nice and I will look for the brand. Laundry facilities are available with pay machines.

The location is quiet and parklike with a huge parking lot and separate semi-trailer parking. There is a tremendous amount of greenspace to walk your dog and get some exercise. Be careful that some areas get boggy after rain. I64 is within a 5min drive. Shopping and restaurants are also very close.

The restaurant has a limited menu but very tasty menu. I loved the eggs hollandaise and their spicy shrimp. Kids eat free and they have many choices and get plenty of food. The waitstaff made a special effort to jazz up the ice cream for them. The same restaurant hosts evening activities during the weeknights.

Overall, I will definitely stay here again.

I've been staying here since 2019. Always a great stay. Most comfortable beds, quiet rooms, great swimming pool, unobtrusive staff, great value.

It is nice knowing that I always have a dependable and outstanding place to stay in Newport News.

We celebrated our Seder here last Saturday. It was wonderful to have the family together for such an event. The service and hospitality left me lost for words. Thank you and your team for all you did.
