Charlotte Bay Resort and Club

We loved the spacious rooms overlooking the bay. Amazing sunsets. Close to the park, water fishing. The elevator was not working, which made it difficult for us. That was the only downfall.

It’s like a Mom and Pop place. Our room was a 2 bedroom. We had plenty of room. Older rooms. We had a great time and would Definitely go back!

First I would like to say Miss Andrea is a superstar. I was there shortly after the hurricane during relief work and had been out in the field working 28 days 16 to 18 hours a day. Decided to get a room to take a break and regroup and rest And happened upon this place and was very thankful for it. At a time when there were no rooms available with an hour radius of driving and the ones that were available were checked up in price it was nice to find a person that actually cared. I felt like I was family not just a number. They were not fully open yet but she went and got a room ready for me and took very good care of me so I can get some rest. The condo itself is absolutely gorgeous. It has a fully stocked kitchen two beautiful bedrooms beautiful view is very comfortable. There’s a beautiful park right across the street And you’re not far from all kinds of things to do in the area. I myself was just needing some rest and some peace and quiet and again Miss Andrea went above and beyond to make sure this was accomplished. I was so thankful to have found a place and I would highly recommend it to anyone coming to the area. Again I just wanted to say thank you thank you thank you

We loved our stay. When we arrived our condo was very clean. With a well stocked kitchen. We really enjoyed the amenities, the pool and hot tub were great. And it was a short walk to the park across the street where we could put our kayaks in. The staff we great and very accommodating. We will be back for sure.

Very nice room. Had 2 beds and 2 baths. 2 kitchen tables which was nice. Had washer and dryer in the room along with all kitchen supplies ( dishes, pot and pans). Did have some hotel products... bar soap, make up remover, laundry soap but that was it. Bring coffee has a pot but no coffee.

Hidden Gem! Came over for the day/night and found this hidden gem, nestled on a quiet street, condo style amenities, spacious, clean rooms, friendly staff who made check in quick and easy! Highly recommend, and will definitely be back! Thanks Andrea!

This place is a true hidden gem..2nd time I've stayed with my grandchildren. They are so accommodating, have everything you need in the kitchen. The beds are sooooo comfortable and big!!! The room was spotless..the grounds were as well. I cannot say enough about this resort....right across the street from the water with a pier and a children's playground. Will definitely be back....

This is a great place to stay with family. Such a great location. The pool is amazing and never busy. The staff here goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Rooms are spotless and ready to go from the minute you walk in. Will definitely be staying here again.

This was a wonderful place to spend a week, but it has all the great amenities that would make it an awesome place to stay for a month or more.

My room was HUGE. Two large bedrooms, with a spacious living room, dining room area, washer and dryer closet, totally full kitchen with regular fridge, and even a breakfast nook. I also had a really nice screened-in porch with it's own light and ceiling fan. And the balcony had two giant sliding glass doors, one from the bedroom and one from the living room area, with 2 sets of chairs and mini table, so you could really have a nice time on the balcony. The Balcony overlooks the pool area and the views are amazing. I think there are only 12 units, and all have the same pool view. There is no construction or any poorly maintained areas within view, so everything is just gorgeous.

The ocean is literally across the street, and there are a couple of parks with bathrooms and a fishing pier that you can see right from the property. It's also only a 5 minute drive to Fisherman's village in Punta Gorda and a 5 minute drive the other direction for all your necessities, like a Grocery Store and a Walgreens (with a liquor store attached).

The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for cooking at home, including oven-safe pyrex dishes, oven sheet, cutting boards, good knives, can openers, spatulas etc. That's not counting all the dishes, utensils, and other regular stuff that is plentiful. There was even a dishwasher and under the sink there were extra towels, dishwashing detergent, dish soap and scrubbies, even extra trash bags.

There is a trash chute on both floors, so you don't have to haul all your junk down to the bottom and throw it in the dumpster.

The shower was great, and got SUPER hot! YAY. There is even a HEAT FAN in the bathroom! That was excellent the night I went swimming in the pool kind of late, and it was getting cold by the time I came in the wash off. The air conditioner works perfectly and kept my room nice and 69 degrees all the time.

The pool area requires a key so no extras can wander in, and it has a large pool, a nice pavilion with 2 gas grills that anyone can use, a little seven foot pool table, darts and one of those things where you throw the rice bags back and forth. It really is well-taken care of and it looks it.

Both the manager, Andrea, and the maintenance guys were all super-cool and I had the most excellent time here. The location and the overall attention to detail really make this place special. I would recommend this for a couple with kids or to split between two people and two couples for an amazing value. They are in the process of changing some rooms to two large beds instead of one big bed and two small ones.

It's also dog-friendly! Bonus - The parking lot is all underneath the motel, so you can come back to a nice, cool car all the time. The small amount of units also means that there is always easy parking and there can never be a huge crowd at the pool or using the facilities.

My only complaints would be that the internet is really bad for a place this nice. (I think it's satellite based) I think the latency or ping is terrible, so you CAN eventually get something to stream at low quality, as long as nobody else is also using the internet, but trying to surf or look up new things - it's excruciating.

Great pool and friendly staff. Enjoy spending time here on the weekends. Clean, Safe and Always Comfortable. There is a pool, hot tub and pool table onsite with bathrooms and barbecue grills. Quite beautiful oasis with a park boardwalk across the street down by the water. Simply wonderful.

ive gotta be honest i passed out in my truck i was so worn out from work, but my co workers said the room eas amazing, service was excellent, location was secluded, and the pool was gigantic and beautiful, so for what its worth i feel the 5 stars are right on par with this amazing little resort, well worth it, and i just wish i was there more then a night and didnt work so hard that day so i could enjoy the stay rather then sleeping in the drivers seat of my 2004 chevy silverado. lol

Stayed 2 nights over the 4th of July weekend. This place was perfact for us. 2 bedroom 2 bathrooms and a screened terrace. Nice quiet comfortable place. Management was great. The villa/apt was super clean, stocked with dishes, towels for the guest in the rooms and pool area. The pool was super clean, no mosquitoes, hot tub and they have a pool table for the guest to use and hang out. Oh yeah if we would've stayed longer we could of used the grill in the picnic area which was equipped with all you need to have a fun BBQ. I whole heartily recommend this place to stay. Very satisfied guests from Miami, FL and Michigan!! Thank you for your outstanding hospitality!!

Didn't want to leave staff very friendly and helpful quite,clean,very relaxing. pool and hot tub great very clean. pool table and corn hole. Parks for kids very close. Will definitely stay again.

It is like a jewel in the crown. We have been coming here every year since 2004.Yes Hawaii was great and so was Bali but if you want to chill and relax we think this is unbeatable .Andrea the lady in charge could not be more helpful and really makes you feel welcome This last visit we brought our daughter son in law and our 2 grand children with us and having been to Disney in the past they all said they would rather be chilling by the pool in Charlotte bay. The living room is large leading on to a Bug Proof balcony and overlooks the pool which you normally have to yourself.
The bedrooms are large each with their own en suites. The Kitchen is fully fitted, and the air con is quiet and very efficient . The only very minor comment would be that it’s a little dated but that’s purely an observation and not a criticism or a negative.

Super clean! Rooms larger than can be imagined for the price of a standard hotel room. All the amenities of home. Truly Port Charlotte's best kept secret place to stay!

They were there for us it was a beautiful place the rooms were very nice and big the staff was great they treated us like we were family sense we never been to florida they also made sure we new of different things we could go see and do I will use the resort again we loved it

Quiet, spacious rooms, beautiful view. Close to several diff things and activities. Swimming, beach across the street. Pool, Jacuzzi, and grilling privately. Great management staff thus far. No complaints.

Best place to stay when in town. Andrea is wonderful. I stay often when in town. Superb service and great accommodations!

Clean unit. Clean pool area. Well lite. Elevator for easy luggage travel to 2 nd FL. Ground floor is parking only. Not the Hilton. But this is a nice established quaint resort.

Older place but room is nice. Place is nice and friendly. We brought the dog. It was so comfy.
