Angelika Film Center & Cafe at Mosaic

Great theater. Senior and other discounts, depending on your eligibility. Varied and a bit pricey menu. Friendly staff. Getting fancy food can't take most of the length of a feature film to have cooked. But! All in all, it was a good experience.

Great place! Just saw Transformers and the sound quality was excellent! The theater was clean and the screen was nice and large! The seats weee soft and there was snacks that were not typical of most AMC and Regal theaters. Definitely a place to go if you don’t mind spending a little extra cash. Lots of dining and shopping here in the Mosaic District.

Between the three-story glass sided design facing out towards the central area of Mosaic District, the wine, beer and cocktail selections, plus some straight liquors, and the delicious cookies and other non-large movie chain treats, this place is my favorite theater. My friend and I come here at least once a month and always enjoy it. All the staff I've dealt with are very friendly and the theater is always scrupulously clean. People coming to this theater there seem to be really enjoying themselves, and respect the experience.

Great atmosphere, very nice location, however the parking garage across the location was terrible took me about 45 minutes to find a spot. Gentleman at the door was very helpful in guiding us to get tickets as there was a lot of commission with a lot of ppl being around. Upstairs ordering popcorn the gentleman there seemed a little off as he seemed distracted. We ordered popcorn and a drink in which later we realized there was a combo for it in which we told the guy and he continued to charge everything separate. (No big deal) however we did ask him for popcorn salt in which he gave us regular salt packets. And again I stated I didn’t need regular salt but popcorn salt and he still gave me more salt packets. The manager there on the side jumped in to get it for us and she even laughed when we returned all the salt packets. Very beautiful location and large screens. There seemed to be a lot of elderly rude lady’s for customers talking very rude to the staff. But still giving it 5 stars despite that one distracted guy not paying attention. Aside from that very grateful for the manager jumping in and having everything under control. Again parking is horrible but it is getting close to the holidays and it is located in a very busy location.

Its a good movie theater in the beautiful mosaic district. What really makes it stand out is how they do limited runs of classic and indy movies, film festivals, and really cheap matinee pricing. Please keep doing that, its great for people who just want to see movies without having to make a huge financial decision cough cough AMC Tysons and your $25 tickets. I will never understand why theaters would rather have empty showing all morning than just reduce their prices and at least have a few old people come in.

The Angelika Film Center is an art-house film theater located in the Mosaic District in Fairfax. this theater only has 8 screens and specializes in independent films/ and the occasional big Hollywood Blockbuster. With an amazing selection of wine and beer on tap or bottle and a decent selection of food. The customer service is amazing and the atmosphere is quaint. consider also has an amazing Lounge on the third floor and will occasionally play classic films in the background. the location for the theater is perfect and provides an abundance of shopping and dining options around you. highly recommended.

There are darn few places where you can see an independent movie these days. Angelika is one of them and it's a great experience to boot. Mosaic is a fun place to kill a bit of time before or after the flick as well.

This is quite the gem. There are stairs and elevators as well as escalators to get you up to the theater level. A ticket booth is right as you enter the complex and the concession stand offers standard fare as well as unique dishes.

Loved what they have done with the movie experience. It's stadium sitting but the seats are comfy and I guess velvet coated. The screen is big and it's Dolby 7.1
Good place to have dinner /food after or before the movie, or sip beer while watching one. The parking is in the adjacent building's parking garage and it's free.

What a fancy theater! Top Secret 🤫: I'm not sure if it's always like this, but they didn't check my backpack. I wish I had known, I would have packed it with snacks. But good to know for next time I go or not. The atmosphere is great, and it's perfect for families.

Friendly staff, clean theaters, clean bathrooms, relatively sleek and modern. If you join their free membership, tickets are half off on Tuesdays.

My wife and I came here to see our first movie in the theater in 2 years (thanks Covid) after finally being able to drop both kids off at daycare/PreK. It was the new TOP GUN movie (10/10 from an aviation dork, btw), and we caught the matinee. It was PERFECT. We were able to get treats and drinks for the movie even though it was before noon, and the theater itself was barely 25% full. We had a great experience, and we'll definitely do that again the next time we can find time to play hooky!

Love this boutique cinema. Always doing fun events (pajama parties for Elf, etc. during the holiday season) and their throwback/themed nights are great.

Nice theatre and good food & drink selection. Usually has great indie movie selections not found elsewhere

Nice venue for art house cinema. Saw Anatomy of a Fall there. Unforgettable.

Theyre a great location, awesome concession stand options with a select but good showings. Their beverages are really great too. The phone application makes it extra easy to see whats playing and got tickets. Very great to catch a movie and dinner in the mosaic

Very good movie theater. Excellent movies selection. Not.just the latest but some indies and oldies.
The food service can improve. Their coffee is always coldish, the bean selection is poor, I wish I could bring a coffee front the cafe right in front. Their food service in the second floor puts to word 'fast' in fast food to an all time high irony. The food selection is good, in both first and second floor, the cookies and wine especially.

Super nice, friendly staff and is a nice location. Parking like many town-style shopping squares is a bit wonky. They have a dedicated garage for the center but during non favorable weather conditions that can become annoying. Unique shops around. Worth checking out!
