Hampton Inn Gloucester

I usually prefer other hotel chains but thought of giving Hilton a try. This Hampton Inn location did not disappoint. They got all the basics right. Would love to stay here during future visits.

Tip: Carry goggles if you plan on spending time in the indoor pool.

Jamie went above and beyond for my family on our stay last night. We originally had a room with 2 queens and a rollaway bed for the 5 of us but noticed we may be cramped so she offered to upgrade us to a suite at no charge so we were more comfortable. I was shocked and very thankful for that kind gesture. The hotel was very clean and in a great location. Will definitely use this hotel any time we attend busch gardens moving forward. 5 star!

Excellent! We stayed three nights in August 2023 and appreciated the great breakfast and the staff members' friendliness -- front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast staff were all great. The place was a bit hard to find the first day due to small signage in that area, but note that it's right behind Wendy's. Would love to stay there again.

We have been coming to this hotel for 4 years now and have never had a problem. Last year we got a deluxe room for free. This year we got a HUGE room which was nice. The staff was great. The breakfest on the other hand was sometimes a little depleted but was still okay. The bathroom was great and nice.

I have stayed here a few times. I liked it quite well each time. Once my husband and I had a very nice suite. The last time we had a room with a king bed. Our children had a double room. Our room was nice and had a very roomy bathroom. The staff were very friendly and have been each time we stayed. The pool was nice and warm. I love that they serve the breakfast. That's a definite plus. I especially liked cooking waffles on the griddle and the fresh fruit and berries. I will definitely stay again if I am in the area.

This is one and only favorite hotel in this area. The staff is always very helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The service is always on point. The rooms are always neat, clean, spacious, and relaxing. I always feel at home when I come here. It's near many restaurants and other places.

The beds & rooms overall were perfect for our one night need. They even had their breakfast buffet open! It was awesome! Good food for hotel food! Starbucks right across the street too if ya need that extra boost!

Perfect location to where my husband and I needed to be for Thanksgiving and a place to lay our heads after eating too much. 🤣

Jaime helped us quite a bit on our stay. We had an issue changing our king bed room to two queens since we booked through Hilton Honors. Hilton Honors was not helpful with this desired change. But Jaime at the Hampton Inn was able to find a way to help us. Also, the breakfast from 6am to 10 am was good. Lots of food options. And the hotel was very clean. Thanks Jaime!

Very nice hotel. Super clean. Seems to be more recently renovated or just very well kept up. Breakfast was a decent spread with options and changed slightly the 2nd day we were there which is nice. Clean fitness center and decent looking indoor pool. Centrally located. Definitely would stay again when visiting local family. Only thing that concerned me was the main floors on first level when I came downstairs around 7 Sunday they were mopping and there was a good amount of water on the floor. With medical walking issues this worried me.

This Hampton Inn did not disappoint like most have recently! This was the cleanest hotel we have stayed in, in the past 3 months! I travel weekly with my family of 5 for our business, so we stay in A LOT of hotels during our busy season. The carpets throughout looked brand new, the rooms were fresh and very clean, no strange odors or perfume cover up sprays. The towels seemed new as well as the bedding. The hotel staff were all extreme friendly and helpful. The staff seemed to ALWAYS be cleaning something. The iron did not work in our kids' room and they replaced it with a new one.

Was not disappointed, nice rooms and very clean. Had a really great weekend staying here and was able to get quality sleep. Serve a decent breakfast in the morning but was a little late grabbing one on my way out. If you need a place to stay while in the area I would recommend staying here!

I stayed here three nights and I was very pleased. The beds were very comfortable. I was glad they provided an extra blanket in the closet. Glad I did not have to go ask fir one when I needed it. The room darkening shades cut out all light but there is also an inner shade on the windows that us kept closed but it let's the light in during the day. Very nice. Breakfast was excellent - I especially liked the omelets. There us always coffee available in the lobby. The coffee in the room is tasteless so get the lobby coffee. All staff were pleasant and helpful. I especially appreciated the lady in charge if breakfast prep and service. She worked hard with a cheerful spirit and cared about others.

We thoroughly enjoy our stay at Hampton Inn. It was spotless throughout the hotel. We had a nice, comfortable and clean room where we could rest for a few days, without being disturbed by the regular routines of other guests. The staff were all so kind and accommodating. And quick to help with any needs or questions that we had. There was not a moment of our stay when we were not happy with our choice of hotels.

Very accommodating and clean. We were visiting family and my sister's husband bought two suites for us, rooms 209 and 233 to stay in for over the weekend. They have a delicious morning breakfast and the lady kept it refilled and clean. The indoor pool was next to their gym. Pool was fun and looked pretty. It also had I think it was a handicapped pool chair as well. Had plenty of towels and essentials. Our rooms was clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed sleeping on the couch bed and siting on the orange ottomans while watching cable in the rooms. With the locked doors we felt secure. They had small different pics along with room number for each room. One of our family members had accidentally locked out of room so we went to front desk with our sister and they were nice and gave us a key. The elevators worked nicely, but most of us just felt after a wierd up and down sensations for few mins. Lol
We noticed that with a fee you can get your clothes washed which would be nice if your staying for more than a week. I don't think they except pets.
Had a blast with our stay.

This hotel is by far the most hygienic hotel I have stayed at since the onset of the pandemic. Signage, wipes, sanitary stations, safe distancing all were all over and above what we have experienced in 5-star hotels. Plus, they have recycle bins for paper and plastic in safe areas which we really appreciate.

Our floor had recently been updated as the paint was obviously quite fresh. Great room with a generously sized desk.

The continental breakfast was probably the best I've ever seen with many options for varying dietary needs.

Clean, comfortable, AND doing all they can to keep staff and
visitors safe. Will definitely use Hampton Inn's in the future that
will not disappoint in their service and accommodations.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, hotel cleanliness was fantastic and the continental breakfast was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fresh fruit everyday. We will be making this our go to hotel when visiting family in Mathews.
