Childrens area on second floor has been updated. They have classes for the little ones with swinging, reading books etc. There a fun play area for small ages and computer lab for the older ones. Elevator is there If you have stroller. Bathrooms are clean and staff is pleasant

The librarians are absolute gems! We were able to attend Baby song and craft time, and greatly enjoyed our time with Mr. Kevin. Furthermore, the second level is dedicated to kids, and let me say -- it is so beautiful and full of excellent learning spaces. Great for both toddlers and older kids, and even babies! And if you can, check out the lovely Ocean View Museum tucked away in the building as well, lots of fascinating local history! Lastly, the security guard is on top of things, careful to ensure no loitering in the parking lot from folks hanging around the nearby bus station. Definitely a great library to check out.

Nice library I saw my friends from elementary school it such a magnificent library in the ocean view.

We were visiting from out of town and got 2 days in a row of cold and rain. We were lucky to take the elevator up to the second floor to find the best children's section. Staff was friendly, dedicated, and engaged. There is a little toddler gym and baskets of toys as well as computers.

My son and I love coming here. There's a children's section upstairs with toys, computers, and children's books.

Downstairs, adults can have some quiet time with great books while upstairs children and older kids can enjoy books at their level. Plus, there is a children's play area! Great staff, great location, I go there every week!

Love this library- Very helpful, friendly, and professional Staff. I was amazed when I saw the children's room and children's computers. This is a very special library that try to meet the need of young people and adults alike.

My kids favorite place... they love it..!!! PS if you want less noise You should be downstairs were it's design for adult studying & computer use!!! Kid's will be kid's 👌👌

Great place for study and reading, and staff is professional and welcoming. Love the atmosphere and relaxed nature of the library.

Wonderful location! Surprisingly, they have an awesome video rental section. 2nd favorite library location in Hampton Roads.

Our visit there was very nice and my granddaughter really had a great time! Staff was kind and very helpful.
