Portsmouth Public Library (Churchland Branch)

This is a pretty small library but they have a lot of things to do. It’s one of those places you go to relax and you feel at home. If you live in the area of the staff gets to know you by name and they treat you like family. I had discovered a book that was missing for about two months so they showed me what I had to do to get my card reactivated The man at the front desk was so helpful they have plenty of computers in the adult area as well as the child’s area. You do have to actually have a chow with you in order to print or use the computers in the Children’s area. I will take more pictures because it has been a few months since I have beenDefinitely a five star rating I had a great experience this time

On the outside it looks like a very old building but when you get inside you can tell that there is a lot of love and care placed into the building. Everyone I spoke with when it came to getting a library card or even something printed was very helpful and took the time to answer any questions I may have had.

I love being there! It's a very calming atmosphere that really helps you focus. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Came here to check out the kid’s activities and left super happy. They do a preschool story time every Thursday, found out they do movie nights, magic shows, etc. and they’re all free which is a super big plus. Staff is nice and the facility is clean.

PPL is one of my favorite places in Portsmouth. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, great customer service, broad collection, beautiful and well laid out physical facilities, and compelling programs. A Portsmouth treasure.

This is such a great library! Always clean and filled with friendly faces! They have a great selection and quickly get resources for you from other libraries in the city in no time!

The Portsmouth City Treasurer has an office here where you can pay bills. Very convenient! Yay!

I like the Churchland library place all ways kept clean and I don't have to wait a hour to get on the computer like the library on Crawford street
