Las Tunas

I like Mexican food and Mexican restaurants. At the entrance they had posted two specials. I choose the chicken, steak, shrimp and scallop fajitas. I received very nice chips and salsa upon sitting down and received my sizzling meal in less than ten minutes. The sizzling plate was very impressive and generous; grilled onions, peppers, chicken, steak and shrimp covered with scallops. Also two side dishes with tortillas, rice, beans and salad. This is among the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant.

We went there tonight while it was a cool rainy night not sure what to expect. When we opened the door, we found it to be a warm, cozy, inviting restaurant where it wasn’t at all loud like most Mexican restaurants. We were seated by a gorgeous young lady who was friendly, full of smiles and kindness. I didn’t catch her name but there were three ladies running the front. My wife and I ordered fajitas and in no time our food came out sizzling piping hot. The food was wonderful. The staff was wonderful and it was very inexpensive. Thank you all for turning a miserable rainy night into a small fiesta. We Will be back soon

Las Tuna's has been a family favorite for many years. Always great food and great service! The prices are unbeatable!

SURPRISE! We have driven by this little secret for several years and decided to try them for a late lunch. They truly have a family style atmosphere. The restaurant was very clean, service was very quick, food was great! We will be back!

Fajitas were excellent! Children's chicken nuggets with fries tasted great, not 'deep fried' in this very relaxed casual eatery.

Very clean restaurant with plenary of seating. The service is always fast. Food is fresh. Staff is very friendly. Literally takes longer to drive thru somewhere than it takes to get a meal from here. The portions are generous. When we’ve made special requests they are always very accommodating. The little ones love queso however they don’t like spicy foods. Las Tunas always makes sure that that the children have exactly what they want.

Good food reasonable price been going back for more and always will.

This place is a true gem! The experience started with complimentary salsa and a bowl of refried beans and melted cheese and then continues with plentiful food portions, great prices and friendly staff. We're now dropping in every time we go through the area.

First time visiting - food was delicious (had the Quesadilla), service was excellent and owner was very friendly! Highly recommend!

Homemade salsa and bean dip, delicious margaritas, some different and surprising menu choices at very reasonable prices with friendly prompt service in a comfortable charming colorful CLEAN atmosphere -- Las Tunas has 95% of other Mexican restaurants beat right there.

We love the food here. The last few times we've had one of the worst waitresses I've ever encountered. She didn't even bring us salsa, salsa! Even after we asked, she "forgot".

Las Tunas NEVER disappoints! My daughter and I have lunch nearly every Saturday. We split the shrimp fajitas and fried ice cream! Wonderful food! Great service - even when crowded for a holiday! They have done a great job in keeping their prices reasonable in today's madness!! If you are thinking Mexican, give them a try!

This place is really good. Not many people know about it yet, so its not busy when my family and I go there to eat. The food is just the best. They have a great chef hiding back there.

Visited this Restaurant on 2/9/2020. Me and my wife had lunch there and at first we were the only customers there. Service was prompt, Food good and more authentic then many Mexican restaurants. Prices were low for quality and quantity of meal provided. The place has a real atmosphere. Seemed more like being in a Spanish home then a typical Mexican restaurant. This is the third Mexican restaurant I have visited between York Town and Gloucester This one wins the prize as best so far.

I have been here several times. The food is always good and hot. They always bring more chips and salsa when you ask. Went tonight with my girlfriend and her parents, everyone was impressed.

Maria and Dora are mother and daughter. They run this fantastic restaurant together. I have been going here for years ever since they opened. Everything I've had here is delicious! My favorite appetizer is queso fritos. So good with a kick! Mmmm

Food is always great as is the service. Lunch specials are nicely priced. The fajitas Supreme are the best, you can't beat steak, chicken & shrimp. Great food at a great price.

The Deluxe Burritos were great. Good Salsa too!
