Crazy Fish Bar And Grill

Was looking for a chilled out place to have beer and good food, and this hit the mark! Our server was Cody - very polite, attentive and quick with the beers (always a bonus!). Tried out a selection of dishes and each was really tasty and served hot. The coconut shrimp is quite sweet, not sure what the white dip was but went well with them. The conch fritters were superb! Hot, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sauce for these carries heat but is confusingly more-ish - loved it! After feasting on the apps, had room for sandwiches - the Mahi Mahi sandwich was really tasty. It had good flavor from being blackened but could have been a tad crisper to really excel. The crab cake sandwich was fantastic and would recommend to try them as an appetizer for sure! Fries are crispy and well seasoned. My only real letdown was the coleslaw - tasted a bit like yogurt was in the sauce and would have preferred more mayonnaise (or just mayo in general, lol) to make it creamy and have more oomph like a homemade coleslaw. Will definitely return to sample some more offerings and support this gem of a restaurant!

Checking out some citrus groves on lake Wales and decided to try this place. Super cute old Fl cracker building, not fancy, but great seafood! The clam strip appetizer was amazing.. lightly breaded nothing chewy going on here, fresh and tender! I had the grouper basket with broccoli instead of fries. Huge piece of fish and huge serving of broccoli! Great hush puppies too, and cold beer. Check them out if you’re in the area .

Yes, the food is Great..I am a frog legs fan..did not disappoint..the fried clam tender...the conch fritter awesome. Service was quick and accurate. Cook said hi on the way in. I will be back!!

Met some of our oldest friends here second time in 5 years. This place was as much fun as it was then. Food was excellent my fried shrimp was spot on and my fries were great. There was a couple other platters as well a burger and a shrimp special. Mostly sweet tea but the slice of key lime at the end of the meal was truly a treat. I plan to come back here again hopefully sooner than later. Parking was in a dirt lot. Some construction going on I'm sure it's all being improved. Worth the effort to visit.

We are so glad that we found this place! We were traveling home from Disney, and my husband wanted a fish sandwich. So I found Crazy Fish on my GPS. Unfortunately, the new road setup makes it appear to be off of the beaten path, but it was really easy to get to. Nikki was our server, and she and the entire staff do a great job of serving up some of the best seafood in Florida. My husband loved his blackened Mahi sandwich, and my fried shrimp basket was delicious. We will be back next time we're passing through!

We were traveling to North Florida so, on our way, we decided to stop by this place because it looked very homey and welcoming. But we thought it was exactly what we got. We walked in. We were greeted like we came home. He looked like a big house full of nice people everybody smiling and happy and enjoyed their food and atmosphere. The food was fine just like home cooked food nothing fancy but nothing you wouldn’t eat. We had their fried cod, fish, fried snapper, fish, fried calamari, the clam chowder, food and red potatoes with some beans. We didn’t get to finish our food because it was so filling I guess because everything was fried and potatoes were Made with oil, but overall experience was good. We did not leave hungry. I also had the side salad, which was great. There was a lot of parking outside in the yard free and self parking only. It’s kind of hidden behind a gas station so once you get there, your GPS takes you to the gas station. You have to go behind the gas station into the small street and make a right turn. It will be on your left side.

On an ebike ride around Lake Wailes and area, decided to treat ourselves to Crazy Fish. Delicious as usual. We shared 2 styles of shrimp, sweet potato fries with key lime dipping sauce, slaw and ceasars salad.

Funky rustic fish house. Seafood gumbo was delicious with mild spicyness.

Excellent fresh seafood that was perfectly prepared. Our waitress was very attentive. She knew the menu and was able to answer our questions competently. I loved the atmosphere and the fun decor.

First time visiting from out-of-state & Crazy Fish did not disappoint! The restaurant itself was nicely decorated, and the staff was very welcoming and friendly to our group.

We had 8 people at our table, so I was able to try both the Fried Green Tomatoes and the Conch Fritters for an appetizer - both of which were excellent (the Boom-Boom sauce was to die for!). As for my meal, the Soft Shell Crab Po’Boy was just perfect.

10/10 would recommend to anyone visiting the area. Lovely environment, prompt & friendly service, and excellent food all-around! We will definitely be back the next time we are in Florida!

This place has awesome fish dip!! We also had really good fried shrimp, fried clams, frog legs, and grilled chicken. They offer baked sweet potatoes as a side choice along with fries. The cole slaw was excellent. Friendly service in a laid back atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Yum! Shrimp boil – delicious. Fried green tomatoes – wonderful. Crabcakes. – nom. Great selection at the bar. The Keylime pie and Tropp cake were delicious. Wonderful service. Cool beachy atmosphere. Recommended!

The fried spinach is so flavorful, yet light and fluffy.

Funky place, check out the daily specials and bring your appetite. The wait/bar/cook staff hustled and worked together and saw lots of huge platters go by. Dare you to try the ultimate fish salad

Great place for seafood in Lake Wales. Off the beaten path with a fun atmosphere. Nice variety to choose from. Beer, wine and cocktails available. Friendly service.

Really cool pit stop enroute to St Pete, excellent coconut shrimp, super nice folks especially Amber and AJ and the manager, Dave. Super fun staff, they love working there and having a good time with together and with their guests, will definitely return soon.

This place is just a cute small local resturant, with Big service! Our waitress was awesome! the food was brought to us fast and it was perfect. Great Job.

We had a wonderful meal at Crazy Fish. Even though they were surprisingly busy for a weeknight, they got us in quick and service was reasonable. My Mahi was truly delicious. Definitely we would go again. Only negative comment is the added sugar on the fries - there is no need for extra sweetener, and many people may be trying to limit both pure carbs and sugar.

We were in the area on vacation for four full days, we ate out a total of seven times. Crazy Fish was without a doubt the best place we ate. The seafood was so flavorful, good portions and we thought the pricing was reasonable for a big seafood feast.
