L'Incontro Italian Restaurant

We were passing through town on our Anniversary and decided to try this restaurant because we were feeling Italian and we were not let down! Mia, our server was fantastic. 10/10 stars for her and 10/10 stars for the food and presentation. Prices were very fair, portions were huge, service was fast and the vibe was incredible. Will be coming back the next time we're in town!

Came here tonight with a group of 20 for a holiday dinner. We were on the back porch. With the cooler weather it was so nice. The food and service were excellent. I had the salmon. Twas delicious 😋.

They had nice decorations up making for a festive atmosphere.

Staff was very efficient getting our food out and very attentive.

We all had a nice time.

The small little restaurant in Lake Wales has amazing Italian food that atmosphere is great. The service is on point and the food is not expensive.

We all enjoyed ourselves very much. The server(s) did a great job taking care of our large party. Food was very good. I liked the amount of space between the tables. I thought the pricing was reasonable. One suggestion would be to offer a small house salad with entrees.

This place is amazing! The food is absolutely delicious and tastes authentic. We enjoyed everything that was presented to us! We went for my moms birthday and were so pleased. They do a birthday cannoli which was delicious! Everyone really enjoyed their meal. We will definitely be back for more!

You'll find comfort here if you speak Italian! A perfect place if you find yourself traveling across Rt 60 from Gulf to Atlantic. No "Americanized" dishes here. We've tried most of the dinner menu and I give a special thumbs-up to those with both chicken & sausage. I'm not joking: the "roasted pepper soup" makes a great appetizer, get spoons for everyone to try it! A decent wine list, and you can rely on the wait staff to offer recommendations. We always find couples in the front room chatting & eating as if the day has no end. The back side holds larger groups with direct access from kitchen to table. We've taken family here so we know they can accommodate it. No reservations needed but we always phone ahead for our family party of 7 just to give them a heads-up. Enjoy!

Omg the best, the waiter and staff was excellent. We had a delicious dinner, with our friends. Can't rave enough about how great the food was. Prices are reasonable.

Everything about this place was worthy of praise. The atmosphere, while small, was quaint and elegant enough for a romantic dinner with my beloved as we enjoyed top-notch service and did worthy of royalty. The eggplant Parmigiana melted in my mouth and the mushroom ravioli was absolutely divine! Hats off to the chef and we will definitely be back!

Gosh, as usual our food was exceptional. 5⭐ The Chilean Sea bass Francaise and the special Stuffed Pork chop are our never fail go to's when getting take-out from here but we gave tried almost everything with great pleasure. We have been going to Lin'Contreau for about 10 years, maybe a dozen times or more each year. Never, I mean NEVER a bad meal. Hats off to the chef and your staff!!

We found this restaurant on the route to Tampa, it was a quick stop for lunch with my husband and son. The food was great, the menu options wonderful! Service and ambiente excellent too. Highly recommended!!!

UPDATE: Once again, an amazing experience! This has become our go-to special occasion spot. The food and service are flawless and atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. Perfect for a romantic dinner or any celebration. Thank you to Mia and Jayden for taking care of us today!

We had the most amazing experience here celebrating our wedding anniversary. We like to eat earlier in the day because we both work early and therefore go to bed early, and they are not only open for lunch but have a very extensive lunch menu, which enabled us to have a nice romantic “dinner” at lunchtime. The service was exceptional from the moment we walked through the door until we left. We sat on the patio in the back which overlooked a small lake and was screened in with ceiling fans. Jayden was our server and he was attentive and made great recommendations. The food was the best we’ve had in a long time and the environment was perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our anniversary. We’ll definitely be back again.

Ordered a pizza to pick up on our way through town. So glad we did. It was very delicious. Large was big enough for two people with a couple pieces left over. We ordered a thin crust large sausage mushroom and onion. The onion was grilled prior putting on pizza which added nice flavor. Also got a bottle of wine to go. We will order again, and can't wait to try other food. Took photo a little late, lol. The staff was very helpful and kind. Place seemed to be very clean. Will diffently be back.

Was taking my friend out for lunch for his birthday and my planned location was closed😔So we decided just to drive around and look when we came across this gem. Beautiful restaraunt, staff was extremely friendly and professional. Food came in a timely manner and was delicious. As we were driving away we realized the back of restaraunt had a pretty little lake that we took pictures of. I will be recommending this to friends and family☺

L'incontro is a perfect place if you are travelling coast to coast in Florida like we did. It's located right off the highway 60, so there is no off-route rerouting to dine in.

As for a small town reataurant, it looks very pretty and clean inside. You can tell, people who work here do take care of the place.

Our server Brenda met us up front, gave us a cozy table to the right from the entrance, and I could easily see the entire place from there. The tables are already pre-served with plates, glasses, silverware and the bottle of italian red wine, like in finest dining establishments. Brenda told us about lunch 3-course special and about the available soup, that sounded promising. We ordered lemonade for a drink, even though I didn't find it on the menu, it has been served no questions asked.

The soup absolutely met my expectations, as well as side salad my gf's. That was a good start. But the entree surprised us even more, both Angel Hair and Spaghetti were al-dente and that's exactly the way we like it. Of course, we were offered to top either dish with freshly ground pepper and parmesan cheese, which is a nice little italian touch some places miss. Oh almost forgot, we got that complimentary fresh bread and spread in the very beginning, and it was just an amazing starting detail.

In general, L'incontro impressed us a ton as a roadside reataurant in a small town. Moreover, it was quite cheap, we paid about $30 for all abovementioned. I do recommend this place!

Great food! Awesome dessert.

hands down the best frutti di mare i’ve ever had!! would drive the 2 hrs easy, just for that dish. my mother got eggplant parm, we got a couple apps to which was also good. the only thing that disappointed us was the cannoli we got for dessert, let me tell you; the mascarpone cream filling was out of this world, i could eat it by the bowl full, but the shell must have been fried in old oil because it definitely tasted a bit off. but that did not ruin my meal, the server was cute, which was a benefit, and the food was a large serving, id say my dish could easily feed 2 people, it had 4-5 clams, 4-5 mussels, at least 4 shrimp, 4 galamad, and pasta!! i mean come on!! i will most definitely be back!

update: i have been back since leaving the review and did not have such a good experience, i ordered the exact meal that i got last time even though i did not see it on the menu, i asked politely if they could still make it and the assured me they could. i got it to go and when i opened my togo box i was THOROUGHLY dissapointed, to give you context; it was SO freakin good the first time that i teared up and just about started crying when i saw that the dish was not the same as that first time. I will go back and try to re-re-order the fruitti di mare... until then i am sad

i have since been back and the fruitti de mare that i thought was my favorite was actually linguine pescatore , i think my first time there my dish was switched, it turned out to be a good thing :) this time i had the linguine pescatore and it was phenomenal! so good! the seafood is so fresh and the pasta cooked perfect! great sauce! it was heaven again❤
