The history ... no words can express standing on this ground and imagining the horrors of the civil war that both sides experienced. May we as a country never have to experience that again.

Love this piece of history. Only open on weekends but worth the stop. Watch for the blood stains on the floor!

Been there many times in past twenty years. Many upgrades/improvements, but prefer the old. Always being watched... Cameras and park rangers galore... total waste!
