Mosaic District

This small neighborhood contains just a few blocks in Merrifield. The center of it is certainly the Angelika cinema center. The largest spot is maybe the Target, which you might want to aim for with your navigation app to find a spot to park. But the artistic spirit of this place comes from the many artsy and extraordinary small shops you find here a lot. And of course by the Angelika which presents so much more then the present mainstream.

Great location that many hotel shuttles will go to. We had fun walking the streets looking for just the right restaurant.

So many cool places to stop at and more to enjoy a cocktail or cold beer while watching your kids play.

Solid collection of stores, restaurants, and entertainment. Traffic always but enough parking in the garages if you can battle the masses. No real bar scene to go out to, but good for daytime. I like the little food delivery robots that roll around. They also have fun events and festivals and a good farmers market Sunday mornings. I’m glad I live near here

Attended a holiday market for the first time here last weekend (12/3) and it was beautiful. Lots of great vendors and I absolutely loved how pet friendly stores were. There is beautiful outdoor seating area with a giant big screen. Definitely going back!

Gets crowded on weekends but a lovely place to walk, shop, and taste different food. My favorite [solidcore] studio is there, there are concerts, games, farmers market and different vendors and seasonal decorations

I'm not a painter, but here, that doesn't matter ! My fiance loves painting, and because she does, so do I... sit back enjoy delicious snacks and cocktails while the music is jamming and find your muse within !!

Mosaic is the nicest place in Fairfax to spend an evening, in my opinion. Tons of options for food, shopping, and entertainment are all in one spot. I love the communal feeling of this place, there are always kids and dogs in the park area and families walking.

The mosaic district was having their fall festival when I went. Parking in the garages was impossible, but if you are up for a little walk, it isn't bad at all. There were so many different street vendors selling food and art, as well as pet treats. The best part was all the different types of food nationalities represented.
Besides the fall festival, there are a ton of shops and restaurants nearby to check out! The walkways are clean, and the landscaping is lovely. A fun place to check out if you enjoy shopping!

This is such a nice and well kept outdoors shopping center. Lots of restaurants and stores to pick from. Beautiful central park with beautiful seasonal decorations and plenty of hangout space, even a cool coffee shop.

One of the coolest outdoor shopping areas in NoVa! They have a great selection of restaurants and shops, and several free parking garages that make parking a breeze. They've got a cafe and a central green space that is perfect for hanging out with the family or on a date when the weather is nice, and when it isn't they've got a great movie theater that shows commercial and independent films you can't find anywhere else. Definitely recommend coming and checking it out!

Went here for a date night. Originally had reservations at one spot but unfortunately we were running a little behind and by the time we got through the crowd and found parking, our seats were let go. But we did get in at Matchbox for dinner so all wasn't lost. Anyway there is plenty to do and see and shop for in this area. Definitely kid and pet friendly. Great place to just walk and enjoy your company. But definitely plan to be around crowds of people. For the most part the place is clean and safe so I enjoyed the atmosphere.

Anywhere my hungry tail can find some really good eats is truly a great place indeed. The Steak and Shak
e is a must visit. The ambiance is everything, the staff super friendly and the food, the food, good God almighty the FOOD! That is all I will say about that.

I like coming out here from time to time. The theater is nice, the food is good and I can honestly say this place has one of the better Targets in the area. I also quite enjoy just chilling in the courtyard out front of the movie theater if I’m there during nice weather. Although, not to be to critical but I wish local parents were better at keeping their children in check. I mean yeah, kids are gonna wanna play and there’s nothing wrong with that but if someone is chilling on that big bench thing that I’m not sure what to call, Reading a book or watching something on their phone, maybe not let your kids disturb them by climbing all over and under the thing and throwing rocks around the inside of it… and throwing rocks in general. Its a bench, not a jungle gym
Doesn’t detract points from my overall score of the area, just something to be aware of.

Very fun place to go to. Very kid and dog friendly. There is a splash pad and lots of seating (although it is very busy so plan ahead). The shops and restaurants are fantastic and there is plenty of parking. On the weekends they will sometimes shut down the Main Street which is very nice and sundays sometimes have a farmers market!

Mosaic District offers a unique Urban Style Town Center with a variety of Restaurants, Retail Stores and a Movie Theater with a limited of free street parking and plenty of free parking garages available.

One of the best new developments in Northern VA! Great restaurants, excellent public spaces for people and pets, super walkable streets and always growing and changing. Cool stores and the Angelika Theatre put this place on the map!

This area has changed quite a bit since I last came a few years ago. It's a great place to bring the kids with lots of options from the restaurants to the dessert to the free movie at the lawn area. Highly recommended for families with young kids.

Mosaic district has target store and a lot other newer stores. It looks modern. The rainbow cross walk attracted a lot of people like me to snap a picture. The Hyatt hotel behind the parking lot looks modern as well. Lol, there is a mosaic bus too!

My faucet and washing machine were both giving me trouble, and Josh came to the rescue. The service was not only prompt but also highly professional. He quickly diagnosed the issues, explained the repairs needed, and got the job done efficiently. My faucet now works like new, and my washing machine is back in perfect working order. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Thanks Josh!!!!

I've lived in the Mosaic District for a almost two years and have loved every bit of it. It is a very family friendly place with a lawn that has just been rebuilt for kids to play on or to walk dogs. Tons of benches and chairs all over the district to take a break and enjoy the surroundings. A bunch of stores to check out where everyone is normally very friendly. Restaurants of all types of food so you know you can find what you're craving. Stop and catch a flick at the theater, or just enjoy a coffee and a walk. With so many options, the choice is yours!
