Good vegan Vietnamese food! We got the rice vermicelli with spring rolls and shredded tofu (#18) and bun rieu chay (#9). Definitely will come back!

Their noodles soups are excellent. And ask for hot tea instead of water. It is free.

Authentic Vegetarian Vietnamese food. You can order from the menu or choose items from the spread. The menu has noodle soups and other items. I was there for lunch and my friend suggested to try the rice and curries. I had bamboo shoot, tofu, tofu skin, stuffed bitter melon, wrapped veg "sausage" etc.
Food was excellent and I loved it. It was as if I was eating in Vietnam. Bittermelon is an acquired taste, I like it now but didn't when I was younger.
This place is inside the strip mall in Eden center. This is the only vegetarian restaurant there, the name of the place didn't say Thangh Van.
Note - workers don't speak much English and the place is not necessarily targeted for non-vietnamese. You don't know the names of items on the buffet spread, so you have to point and choose.

Stop reading and just go.
The food is wonderful. They have a large menu of noodle soups 🍜 cooked to order. I chose a plate of rice and got to pick three entrees from a buffet most people order to go. There was lots of tofu and seitan. I didn't know exactly what I was choosing as the server, who was super nice, didn't't speak English. But it didn't matter because the whole menu is vegan, so you can eat without worries.
Everything was delicious: just the right amount of heat and sweet. I couldn't stop eyeing other people's plates, gotta go back to try the rest.
It was easy to find it inside the gallery thanks to other people's pictures.

I visited Washington DC from Toronto twice.

I always stopped by this vegetarian restaurant hidden inside Eden Center to buy food. The food is very good and the price is reasonable compared to Toronto.

Anyone visits Eden should check out this place.

I went in to order food to go and it was so fast, maybe 10 mins tops before I got my food and was headed on my way. A few other reviews said the people working here have limited English, but the woman who took my order had no problem chatting with me while I waited - she was super nice and welcoming! The menu has an English side and a Vietnamese side that match up, so you can just show them the number of what you want if you ever run into anyone with limited English. I'm not familiar with many Vietnamese dishes, so I'm excited to come back and keep trying more since the tofu dish I got was SO good!

Variety of Vietnamese vegetarian options available here. You can pick and choose.

Although this place is small, it was very busy on a visit on Sunday morning. A lot of customers were chatting while eating, so this place is almost a little community hub for Vietnamese vegetarians it seems. Some of the dishes are unique, we had bittermelon stuffed with tofu as pictured here. It's delicious but if you're not used to bitter flavours, there are plenty of other dishes to get here.

We accidentally went to this vegetarian restaurant, but found the food to be delicious and the environment to be clean. We were astonished by the diversity of flavors and we would definitely recommend it, whether you are vegetarian or not. However, please bear in mind that they only accept cash.

Cute little place tucked inside a shopping complex. This is by far the best vegan place I've dined in in the DMV area. We had the broken rice + shredded tofu, spicy veg noodle soup, and lotus root salad.
The food was tasty, and the lady who runs the place is very sweet :)
It is hard to find veg vietnamese food (that is not pho), and this place offers exactly that!
The complimentary tea that the lady served was also amazing.
The owner saw me struggling to put the noodle soup in the to go box, and she offered to help.
We would definitely visit again.

I would request the owner to be more descriptive on their english menu items. The current descriptions don't do justice to the amount of effort she puts in making those items.

The place is small but the really nice women running the place are amazing. It was quite nice being able to freely converse and ask questions while ordering various items here and there. It felt more like a home cooked meal than anything and the portions were very generous while still being priced quite fairly. I definitely plan on visiting again.
Note that it is cash only but there is an ATM a few feet away from their entrance.

Great veg/vegan Vietnamese in Eden Place. A nice warming bowl of delicious noodle soup, plenty of other options if that’s not your thing. It’s cash only, stay ready for that

Discovered this jewel on my 2nd day here and will eat as often as I can in my remaining week. Tasty vegan Vietnamese dishes at very reasonable prices. Lots of people picked To-Go orders while I was dining. Obviously a favorite to many.

This place is actually vegan and not just vegetarian (I speak Vietnamese and I asked). Awesome authentic food, super friendly people! You can eat in, order from the menu for take-out, or order some of the ready-made dishes to go. I'll be coming back often.

This is a pure vegetarian restaurant, the service was a little disorganized. But worth the wait. We were there during COVID-19 restrictions, they have eat in but only few tables. We had carry out. Price is a little high, but portion is pretty big. Food is very good.

My go to place in the eden center (honestly, in all of the DMV) for Vietnamese food. So delicious. The broth is sooo delicious and there is a large variety of vegetarian proteins. The noodles are so springy and the add ins
are so fresh. Cannot recommend this place
enough.

This is some of the most authentic Vietnamese food you will probably find. The food tastes exactly like the Buddhist-vegetarian restaurants in Saigon. Every dish we ordered was pretty spectacular, especially the noodle soups. It is hard to find, and ambiance is non-existent, but it's your typical hole-in-the-wall. Excellent food, low prices. Nothing else really better. If you're vegetarian, make sure you try this place out, you won't regret it.

Great authentic food particularly lotus salad. Don’t go there for the service or modern clean restaurant. It is not. And don’t follow times set out displayed on google or at the store for that matter. They close when they run out of food! Which they do frequently! Because it so very very popular. So, you want authentic Vietnamese vegetarian, go there!

Incredible food, rich and flavorful but not overwhelming. The owner helped with service and was friendly and personable. 10/10 experience, will be back - a lot.
