Franken Stube

We stumbled across this restaurant on Google maps, and are definitely glad we did! The staff is so friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and the food is absolutely amazing. Everyone out of our group ordered different entrees and nobody disliked a single thing. The potato salad is nice and tangy, the cucumber salad perfectly compliments the heartiness of any dish by being light and crisp.
An added bonus of this restaurant- they also sell German goods ranging from candy to kitchen pantry supplies. We ended up leaving with a stock of German candies, high spirits, and full bellies- we will DEFINITELY be coming back very soon!

This was our first visit and it will not be our last. Our server was very funny very knowledgeable of the food. We had a large party and they accommodated us well. You have 15 new fans of your restaurant.

Food absolutely outstanding. Call ahead and let her know you're coming. She only has a few tables due to covid restrictions so they fill up quickly. Staff very friendly. Will be returning

Delicious! Some of the most authentic German food I've had here in the States! The beef roll and potato salad were our favorites! Definitely check this place out and make sure to save room for desserts!

We have been looking for authentic German food for the last 18 months and glory be it was 5 miles down the road. Their rouladen was fantastic the best I've ever had in a restaurant. The rot kohl (red cabbage) was excellent as well. Everything here was savory and reasonably priced for the amount of preparation it takes. Also a fine selection of German beers helped round out the meal. Also the staff was great and we will definitely be eating here again and soon. Danke Franken Stube Danke schon !

As authentic as can be, DELICIOUS Food, wonderful Atmosphere, easy to get to from I-95, Reservations are recommended due to limited Seating , but oh so very worth it. Will be returning many, many Times

Absolutely a hidden gem! Wonderful German dinner. Authentic, not Americanized, thank goodness! Totally enjoyed dinner and can't wait to go back again. Even saw a local news reporter. I'm planning on being a regular! Can't say enough nice things about this restaurant! The service was excellent and the folks are friendly but THE FOOD!! If I weren't completely stuffed, I would go back for more tonight!

the food is really good, authentic German cuisine. reminded me of my youth in Germany as an Army brat! beautiful decor, friendly and patient staff, explaining to customers what the menu items were. the coffee was great and they have a little area where you can buy some of their prepackaged and homemade items. a bit pricey but still good. right off the interstate and in walking distance from my job! a lovely experience all around.

Amazing food and service. From the outside I was a little skeptical of Franken Stube but it didn't take long to change my mind. Inside is like a throw back to a quaint little German restaurant. We were greeted by one of the nicest servers I've ever met Andrea. She took out beverage order and returned quickly with one of the coolest beers I ever had. I asked Andrea for a termination on a meal and she didn't disappoint. The portions where big; the toppings were plentiful. It was the best authentic German meal I have every had! I highly recommend Franken Stube!

Finally, a truly authentic German Restaurant. I loved the food. It was as if you were at a home in Germany with friends. This is not your generic restaurant. It is like having a nice dinner with good company, with no rush and a truly German family atmosphere. We will be back over and over to enjoy more than just a meal.

This place is great—friendly people and great food! Try a bratwurst with sauerkraut, or one of the schnitzels—I had the Rahm schnitzel (with the cheese-tasting cream sauce) this time, and it was wonderful! The Jaeger schnitzel is especially good, too, with its brown mushroom gravy.

The restaurant is owned by a US military veteran and his wife (whom he met in Germany). Give it a try if you're in the area! It doesn't disappoint.

Food is home cooked and delicious. Very authentic feel and wonderful atmosphere! My 9 year old son even ate every bite of his meal! Staff were very warm and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic food and authentic German beer! Small and cozy environment. DO NOT BE PUT OFF by the fact that it is attached to a convenience store...you will be missing out if you do! Have been multiple times....never had a bad meal!

Excellent food! If you want authentic German food, then stop here. They have goulash, spaetzle, schnitzel, and bratwursts plus more. She makes everything from scratch and even has a small "store" you can buy and take items home. Definitely recommend!

Amazing authentic German restaurant. May not look like much, but the food is amazing and the service is great. While there, you must try the German cheesecake. It is rich and creamy-- the perfect ending to a great meal.

I took my wife and our 15 yr old son here today. We all ordered the schnitzel (jeager) and the potato salad and spaetzle. The meat is tender, the gravy and mushrooms were supreme. The surprise came with the cucumber salad. Not at all what we expected but my Lord it was delicious. For dessert I got the apple strudel, my wife ordered the chocolate cake and my son ordered the black forest cake. Everything was exceptional and the service was quick and polite. The on-tap German beer was ice cold and very fresh. I highly recommend going here, you'll love it.
