Friendly and accommodating staff. You can tell that it is a busy operation, even throughout the evening. Despite that, the manager (I think his name is Mason), has been supportive and eager to help as we learn the ropes of both lessons and instrument rentals for the first time.

I was extremely pleased with my experience at Music and Arts. Paul was extremely helpful and instructive. He replaced a violin string for me and tuned the instrument. He shared a tuning app with me as well. I would highly recommend this business!

I had no idea that we had a music store so close to "home" (muskego) this is our first time renting a musical instrument for my 6th grader who is in band. our experience was great and the customer service was phenomenal!. They were extremely helpful with us as first timers and newbies. The process to get our instrument and rental was a very smooth and easy process. I thought the prices were very manageable and fair. Going into it I had no idea how much everything was going to cost. Everything start to finish was $68 which includes a starter kit and trombone rental $34 a month with insurance. Again it's my opinion that these prices were fair and very manageable. I had a great experience and they were extremely informative and helpful the customer service was beyond amazing! Highly recommend for other parents looking to rent an instrument for their child.

My son loves doing his guitar lessons here and it's a one stop shop so if he needs new strings I can pick them up while I am there

Very impressed with the service from this store during the pandemic. We have had 4 instruments in for service. Each time they are great about curbside drop off and pick up for service or purchases. Their pricing has been fair and the work has been done very well.

Melk isn't just the best experience I've ever had with a music store, it's the best experience I've ever had with *any* retail store; the repair of my clarinet was extremely cheap and absolutely comprehensive (I'm certain I got some free adjustment and polishing thrown in) and the staff are all friendly, knowledgeable, and very eager not just to sell a product but to help you find the right thing you're looking for at the best price. I wish they were a bit bigger so they could stock more supplies and sheet music but they're near-perfect just as they are.

We had to find a replacement violin very quickly for my son, who's in middle school. His older violin had cracked, and he was playing first chair in a school concert in two days.

I was able to set up a rental through Melk Music's website - super easy and VERY reasonable pricing. They had the violin ready that same afternoon. I was blown away by what a beautiful violin we were able to rent on such short notice, at such a reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back.

Melk Music has the best repairs in the city, hands down! They also have a very good (and knowledgeable) sales team...they treat you right at Melks! Their new location in Muskego/New Berlin looks FANTASTIC and they offer private lessons on site! Would definitely recommend!

Great place for instruments. Music instrument classes are very good, instructors are very accommodating for schedule changes.

Great repairs and service! Melk is the only place that we trust with repairs to my daughter's clarinet. We drive 30 minutes crosstown to get to Melk - it's worth it!
