They did a wonderful job with my son. They are the best!!!!

I would give 1 star if it wasn't for the nurse who draws blood, she is amazing and deserves 5 stars. The rest of my experience has been absolutely atrocious. My son was practically traumatized because of the lack of communication and organization necessary in a medical setting.
My son was terrified to have blood drawn for his first test, so when we had a second appointment I asked a lot of questions. Not only did his pediatrician in the same medical group have the completely wrong information, but the nurse in the allergy clinic itself gave me wrong information. I was completely taken by surprise when the test involved multiple shots in his back, I was told they would be stickers by multiple people. Then he had to have MORE blood drawn after I was told and promised him he wouldn't have to. Holding a 5 year old child down while he screams is not something you want to be surprised with, and the pain and fear my son had to experience were completely unnecessary.
To top this all off, they never called to give me the results. After waiting MONTHS in between lab work and appointments, they didn't feel the need to discuss the results with me. I called after a few weeks of waiting, and had to wait two more days to get a call back. The doctor didn't even bother to call me, had a nurse call and tell me to just look at the patient portal instead. Trusting her, I hung up and looked at the medical jargon that I cannot interpret and needs to be compared to the previous testing to make sense. When I called back and managed to get the nurse on the phone again, she couldn't even say if the test was definitive and seemed content to call it a day without even a mention of different testing to find answers.
I had a lot of faith in CHKD until our experience with this office, I hope this is just a singular bad egg and not the new tone of the company.

If you value your time and want an office to value your time, this place is not for you. I showed up for a scheduled appointment & the clinic was closed to due an illness. Hope that person gets better, but if I didn’t cancel my appointment I would get charged a fee for no-show. They “texted” (never received) to tell me the appt was canceled, and provide no timely solution. And to continuously insinuate that I got a message I didn’t is ridiculous considering I had a 40 min commute… definitely would not have wasted all of that time from work if it wasn’t needed.

Onsite Billing Supervisor Lady 1 Star for being rude and violating my HIPAA privacy rights. I've been taking my children to this location for 13 years and this 1 individual has me reconsidering Healthcare services my children...
