Tru by Hilton Greensboro Lake Oconee

The best customer service I've ever had at a hotel. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast bar is way above average. We enjoyed the hot breakfast. Fresh fruit and pancakes are available as well as eggs, grits and sausage. A variety of bagels were available. There is a small gym and also a laundry area. I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting family in the area. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and recognized me for being a diamond member. The room was clean and stocked with needed supplies. The breakfast was delicious each morning. We enjoyed our stay and will stay at the hotel again when visiting family.

Checked in late last night 2.9/24 about 9;30 PM and the woman working the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. Made my day become less stressful. Room was great.
Definitely will stay here again

Our stay at Tru Hilton was perfect!! Everything is updated and modern and the rooms were very clean. All of the soaps, lotion, shampoo and conditioner were actually really nice and came in big bottles on the wall rather than those annoying little bottles, and the water pressure in the shower was wonderful. Free hot breakfast was great and the front desk staff was wonderful. The lobby is really nice and inviting with plenty of seating. The fitness center is small but has a few treadmills, a peloton, and some weights.

Nice room and comfortable bed. The rooms are simple like the Tru design. I do kind of miss a closet. Conveniently located near Lake Oconee and Greensboro.

This was our first visit here, and we were not disappointed.
The rooms were a good size for the price. Our two queen beds were clean and very comfortable.
We did have a time figuring out the electronic window shades, but the help desk was very quick to come up and show us how to operate it.
Nice lighting in the bathrooms.
The only negative would be the walls between rooms are a little thin, so we could hear when our neighboring rooms came in.
We really enjoyed the outdoor gathering space outside the lobby.
The breakfast was good. The kids loved watching the pancake maker in action!
Very nice stay!

I loved that the hotel had a gaming center in the lobby! My hubs and I played pool while our toddler looked watched movies in the chair. The room was clean and had the best soaps and conditioners for guest to use. The only downside is that there was not a microwave in the room to warm up food and the coffee was all the way downstairs in the lobby but the microwave didn’t impact our stay to not enjoy our stay at Tru.

We stay here when we are visiting Reynolds lake Oconee. My first thing I will say is Laverne who check us in was one of the most wonderful fun energetic people I have met. She was very informative on places to eat and things to do locally. We stayed for a week and they had house keeping every day the breakfast was cooked well and everything was clean and neat. I will definitely be back.

This is nice hotel to stay. Service is also very good. Breakfast is not much options available.

Excellent accommodations! We loved the pool table in the lobby. The hotel and rooms were clean, modern, with unique amenities. The beds slept well and the breakfast was wonderful. We had yummy pancakes, crispy bacon. and omelets! The soap dispensers were a welcomed change from thr sample bottles and we loved finally being able to amply wash our hands with liquid soap. The decor was cool to look at, playful colors and simply inviting. Tru is our new favorite hotel chain!

The family and I stopped here on our way home from a trip. This is our second Tru stay and the first was less than impressive. We gave this one a chance and super happy we did.

Rooms were very clean, bright, and modern. Love the showers at this place!

Breakfast was awesome. The magic pancake machine was the coolest and the options for food were plentiful. Great, quiet location and super lovely staff.

This week my daughter in law and my grand pup became stuck on the interstate as her car developed a radiator leak. I called this hotel hoping that someone would be able to provide a spot for her. Laverne answered the phone and brought me so much reassurance. She knew how worried I was and even offered to go get my daughter in law when she got off work. All that to say the dealership was able to drive her over and Laverne was able to get her all fixed up. I can’t say enough about the customer service that Laverne displayed today and her kindness showed in such a sweet and needed way! Thank you Laverne and thank you Hilton for hiring such a caring and selfless individual to be your face in Greensboro. I know you realize what a blessing she is to your company.

Super value. Good location for restaurants. Comfortable and very clean rooms.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic! We stayed here so we could attend a Georgia game and it was perfect. It is in a great location. The employees were so kind and helpful! We loved the breakfast- especially the pancake machine! The beds were comfy and had THE softest sheets. The whole vibe was just inviting and fun! Super clean. Fitness room was top notch! Will most definately stay here again!

Stayed here for a wedding, and most of the attendees were staying here as well. The staff and service here was phenomenal! They made it so comfortable for all of us to catch up with family and friends while here.

We came in at 2 am looking for a room on our road trip. The lady at the front desk was one of the nicest people I have ever met! The rooms where every clean! There is full size toiletries in the bathroom and the beds where super comfy! We travel to a lot and this hotel in now bookmark for my way home 100% will stay again!

Stayed here for a month while settling in to a new area. The staff at this hotel are amazing! They prepare a delicious breakfast everyday and are attentive to all the visitors needs. Tammy, Mikayla and the ladies were always friendly and around to answer questions about anything and worked hard to make sure the hotel was running smoothly. Tammy even took time to reset my tv one day when it unexpectedly went out! It’s evident that everyone enjoys their jobs here. I highly recommend staying here if you are in the area.

Our stay was a pleasure! The new hotel is beautiful and extremely clean which matters so much right now. The most impressive factor of our stay was the front desk employee, Laverne!! She was extremely attentive and made us feel our needs were important to her. She was warm and friendly each time she saw us! She is definitely a true asset to the success of your hotel!

Came off the highway to use the restroom and rehydrate. I didn't spend any money, but the front desk lady was still very kind to me. I will keep this in mind the next time I book a room. Thank you for your hospitality

If you arrive to check in with Lavern! she is your Angel like no other! Lavern won’t only ask you about your requirements, she will see to it that you are accommodated completely! I literately hugged her! She made me feel that welcome! Above and beyond is an understatement! This employee deserves ultimate awards! It’s one thing to check into a hotel but it’s another level to check in and feel like family!
