Iron Chef Japanese Restaurant

I frequent this place often, done in and take out, and it has been consistent for the last 10 or so years. I'm pretty simple and love a good spicy roll. They hands down have the best spicy rolls that I've tried in this area to me. All the rolls I've tried have been really good. I've only had one very small disappointment, and that was when they put ranch dressing on my salad. Now, maybe they ran out of the ginger dressing, but I do wish they had told me that way, I would have ordered the soup instead. Good costumer as well.

This place is one of my top 3 favorite places for sushi in the Isle ofWight and Suffolk areas. Great food quality at average sushi place prices. Recommend lunch’s for the lower prices (but also slightly less food). Never had bad fish or food here. Limited dinning tables but they also do takeout, if you do make sure to call ahead.

Absolutely fantastic sushi! Great service, delicious entrees, and very clean! Will be returning! Stop by and check it out!

The buy 2 get 1 free specialty rolls were so delicious. It was very hard to make a choice. We also got the teriyaki chicken dinner. Food was outstanding and service was magnificent. I wished we lived in Virginia so we could eat here all the time.

This little store is tucked away nice and snug waiting for hungry people to go and taste the perfected deliciousness of their sushi rolls and entrees!
My wife and I went here and had a short wait because it was full and when we were seated we noticed the small staff! Each one doing a wonderful job and even with a decent wait for our food, we found it was well worth it. Each bite brought joy to my brain and tongue and the staff was kind which filled my heart with pleasantness! I’ll definitely eat here again and get some sushi to go a lot!

We were delighted to find this tasty little restaurant, great prices and great sushi and hibachi! The food came pretty quickly for a small waitstaff, and the service was great

Excellent quality and service. The sole waitress looked after every patron like a champ. Every table and every chair at the sushi bar were occupied. I was supremely pleased by the friendly nature of the sole chef and waitress. The seafood soup, Naruto roll and sashimi were fantastic!
The experience with so little staff made me recall that kindness is magical so I'll remember to give plenty of leeway and not be in a hurry when I dine out. Fantastic job!

This is my favorite sushi place in all of Hampton roads. They have a great lunch special, it's never busy, the sushi is AMAZING, and the serve the food in a timely manner. They aren't the cheapest but the food is well worth it. I have tried about 7 other sushi places and this is still my favorite.

This place is a staple for my household! Iron Chef is a super affordable restaurant with quick service. Every staff member I have come across when dining in has been very nice and welcoming. The food is also very delicious!

Went for supper. Had awesome service from 2 young people. Ordered the Seafood Teriyaki and it was very tasty. Wife had one of the trays and almost could not finish it.

Very quick service! Fresh sushi! With a great variety. We were looking for Japanese and found this gem. A LOT of sushi, as well as a page of menu items from the kitchen. Their tempura has a light sweet flavor to it. We enjoyed the chirashi bowl(pic attached after I ate some meat), spider roll, shrimp tempura roll, shrimp teriyaki. Rangoons....mmmmmm. And the Airforce one roll(pic attached). would come here again if I lived close. Other visitors that came in seemed to frequent this place.

Great service. The food is good, and it doesn’t make you tired and bloated. It energizes you instead.

Great Sushi spot in suffolk. All the sushi is really good and affordable.This restaurants only issue is when it get very busy the food takes a while. But if you don’t mind waiting with a Sapporo and some saki in hand you’ll be alright.

The dinner plate was filling and delectable! Interior was very clean, sleek and instrumental music created a calming atmosphere. As the final touch, they bring pineapple to cleanse the palate

I love this place. Every time I come in here, dine-in or carryout, they make me exactly what I want, just the way I like it. The service is friendly and timely and the food is great. I think the prices are reasonable, too. Highly recommend.
