Bon Secours Health Center at Harbour View

Been diagnosed here for 3 years with 5 CT scans and 1 PET. Every single procedure has been flawless from scheduling to execution of the test on the exam day. All the techs are awesome and caring. Have never had a painful or difficult IV for the contrast. Highly recommended. FYI, the is a new entrance during construction.

I only had to wait for about 10 minutes before they had me in a room. The doctor was incredibly kind and compassionate, as were the nurses. Julie was my favorite. After taking blood and urine samples, it was established that I had kidney stones, a very complicated kidney infection, life threatening low potassium and sepsis. They transferred me to a different hospital and I stayed for 5 days. The doctor and nurses had the best bedside manner I've ever seen!!

Destiny at the front desk was efficient and professional. Mallorca the nurse was full of smiles, explaining everything before she did it. Dr Dews took his time and was VERY thorough in his approach to my care. Ms Lisa the CT lady kept me calm and explained everything I should expect, which put me at ease. Julie the second shift nurse was SO HELPFUL. She got us extra ice, kept us updated on it all. Five stars!

Under construction as they are adding on to the hospital. I have come here several times from Virginia Beach for imaging. They are doing a great job with the parking lot and entrance accessible through the construction and the service is topnotch. The property is so pretty. I didn’t take pictures but the picnic tables with umbrellas with the lake, fountain and crepe myrtles were very peaceful.

I just had an operation done at this hospital in Suffolk two days ago. I had a few pre registration hiccups, but everyone there was easy to deal with. The friendly nurses, Jessica, Haily, and of course Nikki who was by my side most of her shift. The staff there were amazing and as my doctor called them, the “A Team” wasn’t kidding. Nurse anesthetist Brian Smith was super friendly and I was left feeling he was my guide from beginning to end.
Thanks to all those there that made my stay a pleasant one. No one likes to be operated on, but they’re attitude made a real difference.

Great surgical experience. Drop off at the round about is nice. Family went home for 4.5 hours. Check in was 2 hours early which was 1 hour too early but I watched TV, had an IV put in had all the docs stop by. I was seen promptly at my surgery time. I was out on time. Recover was easy and I got peanut butter and cheese crackers with Diet Coke. Pickup at the round about was nice.

I have been here 3 times since November 2018 and in all cases they have been professional and compassionate. When I had a heart attack they listened carefully to what I said and even though the initial tests did not show that a heart attack, they kept me for another 5 hours at which time the tests did show a heart attack. I was immediately taken by ambulance to the operating hospital and was in surgery within 10 hours of onset.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the Doctors and Nurses at Bon Secour Surgery Center. The day of my surgery my stress level was high because of my extreme nervousness for my surgery. The nurse talked to me and explained what would be done. By explaining everything about the procedure they helped to put my mind at ease. The Anesthesia was very kind that meant so much to me. They made me feel at ease, I trusted them to do there job and they did. Thank you Lamn, Jennifer, and Candice for being the best nurses. I went into Bon Secour scared but I came out pleased at how they treated me and cared for me. Thanks to the nurse that checked me in that day. I didn't have everything I needed she said that was okay. I was nervous but you did a great job at explaining everything I needed to know. They deserve 10 stars but since it's only 5 they have 5 stars from me. I would recommend Bon Secours Surgery Center to everyone.

I Hate going to ERs but if & only if I have to go I always come here. I recently moved & drove over 40mins to come here. They couldn't really do anything because of my medical conditions, but at least they didn't have me sitting there for hours & hours like all other ERs just to get that information. I was in & out within less than about 45mins. I already knew I had to see my specialist, but they did prescribe something for pain and infection to hold me over, and that's exactly what I needed.

From front desk to triage nurse, doctor and nurse was excellent and professional. This hospital has the best staff even down to Scott. He was great and a wonderful sense of humor! You guys rocks hang in there and this shall passed through. #BONSECOURSHARBORVIEWHEROS

I went to every emergency room imaginable for stomach and back pain. One doctor told me it was gas. When I couldn’t keep antacid down I went to Bon Secours Health Center. Within an hour they were transporting me to Newport News by ambulance for emergency surgery. They found out that my gall bladder was about to burst because of all of the stones.

Went in with abdominal pain. Pain meds to make me comfortable, CT scan, Ultrasound, and the conclusion; gallbladder needed to come out. Quick and accurate diagnosis. Very pleased.

Every time I've been and unfortunately I've been to the er for fibromyligia and other physical issues a lot of times where I'm from. Its been the excellent and humbling experiences.

This is the best Health Care Facility that I have ever gone. Fantastic Staff, very attentive and professional. They explained everything to me and helped me through my procedure.
